Serral just choosing violence is the villain arc I've been waiting for.
People called him boring so he blood and carnage
Once again, welcome to learning with Lowko!
The facts:
-There's an amazing restaurant called "Cheeky Cheese" that serves deep fried Mutalisk wings and nice toasty Zergling legs. (Try the wings, they're delicious!)
-Overseers have at least 6 eyes on their carapace.
-"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a Mutalisk should be able to fly. The Mutalisk, of course, flies anyways. Because the Zerg are a hyper-evolved race that do not care what Terrans think is possible."
And one more thing! Lowko, if you think the Mutalisks are unrealistic ask yourself this: how do Drones fly?
The Zerg obviously have anti-gravity tech which they use in multiple places. The drone, the mutalisk, the corruptor, the leviathan - all would require anti-gravity to operate as they do. (Probably broodlords as well - overseers likely could do without, I think.)
Mutas probably have sacs of hydrogen inside them and are therefore hybrid dirigibles.
Inside overlords
I always thought all the zerg flyers had some kind of gas balloons in them, and that the mutalisk wings were only for maneuverability. That and/or they are all psikers, lifting themselves through telekinesis.
@@DanStaal For the drone, they fart on the ground. Since they constantly do that, it allows them to float over the ground, and so they can swim.
Quote From The Starcraft Wiki: "Drones move by hovering above the ground using a float bladder[3] (factoring this in, a drone stands nearly as tall as a terran wearing CMC armor).[4] This peculiar organ emits a low-frequency energy field that disrupts gravity around the drone. The creature then "swims" through the air by undulating its body and using some of the excess energy as a means of propulsion."
Maybe the other air units also have a float bladder?
"He's the second best dutch RUclipsr, first being uThermal" Lowko out here spitting FACTS. But honestly, Dutch sc2 content is just on another level.

ROASTED
He must’ve seen uthermals proxy hatches and rush games and had to try to one up him
NoCap
The first Cham game was AMAZING! Chams genius in this situation, selling a normal game to Serral so perfectly until 10 lings are in his natural, is the one thing that I need to see more from!
I am glad to see him get more aggressive. He's a master macro player and it's good to see him add more tools to his arsenal.
I think he’s always had it just using it more
He has potential to even become the first z player to do more than a move
24:23 In the states we have a “restaurant” chain called Chuck E Cheese. It serves pizza and has a whole arcade. Kids have birthday parties there… and it’s horrendous. The food might as well be zergling legs and mutalisk wings lol
I assumed that's what he was indirectly referencing.
@@NateDecker1982 I know it's not common elsewhere, so Lowko has no idea. Maybe now, he does.
"I don't think anyone enjoys playing against Mutas ever"
Protoss players churning out Phoenixes from double Stargates: Are we a joke to you?
Yes.. Yes you are! Muhahaha!
About the mutas:
Many zerg can float.
Maybe mutas able to float as well and use the wings for manuvering.
Mutalisks are clearly buoyant even in space
According to lore in the sc wiki, mutas can excrete a gas to move through space. In other words: fart propulsion
They float like helium balloons, explains why they take so much gas to build
Like overloards mutalisks don't need their wings to stay airborne they are just direction and speed, that's why they are so fast an maneuverable (evidenced by how mulalisks can even 'fly' in space)
I’ve always imagined that the top portion of the Mutalisk that curves upward can partially fill with gas to keep them buoyant in a similar way to the overlord, and those undersized wings are mostly for propulsion.
I love how far Lowko has come in term of game knowledge. I remember like 3-4 years ago I made a comment criticizing his casting where I feel like the commentary doesn't really reflex the real game. Now when I'm listening to Lowko he give me tidbits of really interesting builds and generally seem like he know the game much better now.
@@WHunt-pc4rw I'm never said I'm the reason that he changed did I? Simply stating that I like his casting alot more.
I liked this quick games format a lot

there's nothing more gorgously rude and funny than an adept casually walking in, standing still and calmly destroying the creep tumor just to shade away like nothing happened
Ah, so when Harstem is playing you can't call it "a high level match of Starcraft 2". I see how it is, Lowko. 💔
The cheesiest man in the world gets cheesed by the pro cheeser
Serral figuring out that zerg cheese works because no one zerg cheeses at the high level because it doesn't work.
Overpool to gas with hatch at 17/16 is not a cheese. Its to punish greedy and to have map control
Lowko!! Don't tell us a game is about to end!
It's kind of sad to see people someone in the top 200 who I'd never heard of go against Serral and know: "Yeah he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning this game."
Hey, Lowko, what's better than roses on your piano?
Tulips on your organ.
Cham is a very very nice player from what i've seen here. He has Serral vibes to him. I'm now a fan of him.
Seems like being predictable has become a weakness for him, glad he is mixing it up.
Harstem continually announcing on stream that he's a big fan of the "no scout" strategy probably not Meta.
The second google definition for the word "finisher" is a pig that has been fattened and ready for slaughter. Cmon Lowko, don't do Serral like that! 😆
Serral learns cheesing. It's a new year/Christmas surprise
who wakes up in the morning and thinks to himself "let's fucking cheese Serral, that is a great idea" 😀😀
Oh Lowko, mutas are 50% vespine, the wings are there just to give those baloons a direction...
I love how Lowko just schooled people talking about something which they do not understand.
Wow. I don't think I've ever seen anyone GG as fast as Harstem! 3 GGs in 13 minutes. Impressive? 😂
We actually see flippy-flaps winging so slow to sustain flight... but it is far faster than we can actually see. We see that phenomenon in that speed-spectrum of velocity at a very much slower speed. Cats may be able to see them like we see humming birds :)
Well, these definitely aren’t super cheesy games out of Serral but I think having something like that in his back pocket wouldn’t be the worst idea.
"And it's Byun." I'd probably fanboi for a bit, consult google-translate, then wonder when the dream is going to be over, 'cause there's no way I reinstalled Star Craft II in order to *ladder.*
No Loco, mutas don't need large wings because they cost 100 vespine gas, and WE ALL KNOW (not really) that vespine gas is like helium, and it's used to make stuff light. I don't know how this explains overlords, but don't think to hard about it :b
Anyhow, I am probably momentarily going to watch another one of your videos as well. :D
Take a drink every time he says Serral.
For a player of Serral's caliber, who has already conquered the vast majority fo his goals and left his mark on the game, it makes sense to deviate from his "serious" usuall gameplay. Serral imo has refined his macro and tournament game playstyle to such an extend as to allow himself the opportunity to explore cheesy builds and approaches. After all he who remains stagnant, dies. Also, if you are a good macro player (good as in the top 5 for the past years) you can try cheesing, whilst the reverse is not that easy.. He is the GOAT of EU players of SC if not worldwide. Also, Lowko, thanks for the amazing quality content , as always!!
Cheeky cheese? There's a place around here called Thrilled Cheese, all they serve is variations of grilled cheese sandwiches.
I always thought when you said Finisher/Finnisher you were making a play on Finnish Zerg as in hes a Finnish Zerg player who also will finish you… idk it’s always been a blend in my mind
Lowko, you get my vote for the best Dutch you-tuber. 🙂 Brenda and Karen both agree. Though, I did meet Harstem in Atlanta - I couldn't find you. 😞
I think Lowko was casting from Stockholm during Dreamhack Atlanta
@@Lightpossesion Ah, that would explain it. Thank you.
Turns out when you’ve been the best player in the world you know exactly how to kill your opponent as fast as possible
it is deeply funny to me that Lowko, a native Dutch speaker, speaks dutch (to himself at least) with an American accent XD
You think that’s weird; mutas even fly IN SPACE. BY FLAPPING.
It's my favourite pro player, favourite commentator and favourite pro player/commentator in one game. Merry Christmas, I guess.
Aaaaand it's over already. WTF.
Mutalisks: space bumblebees!
I feel like you all are just too used to watching serral playing against high caliber opponents. These games were little more than a formality for serral and conserving your mind and hands during a tournament is a very real thing.
When you do a hidden base you have to sell it right. There should have been a natural base or at least one starting up when the overlord arrived. Now it was obvious when this is missing.
This Serral guy is pretty good. Prettey prettey prettey good.
Some scientific stuff you've got here giving the statement first then analysis and then conclusion:) nice stuff!
hope he does more proxy hatchs!
Look at bees wings vs their size. Muta's are fine. They just need to flap fast. You can't see it with your eyes
Lowko, in Dutch and German it IS almost identical. In Afrikaans its Kosmiese Saffier. Which you should be able to understand as well.
there is already a restaurant named chuky cheese
That's why they call it the Overseer, Lowko - it has too many eyes, it sees too much.
When the cheeseth does not become the cheeser.
Good title
So Mutas are like bumblebees but with tasty wings 🤤
The giant balance patch has thrown the whole meta into disarray, it could take months for the meta to stabilize. It makes sense that Serral would see new timings to abuse
?? 5.0.11 isn't live outside of TS/PTR
yeah, looks more like Serral making correct decisions to counter his opponents' cheeses, rather than him being the cheeser...
Don’t mean to call you out, but if the gravity of the planet is much smaller that on Earth (say 1/3 of a g like on Mars) and the atmosphere is very dense, Mutalisks would definitely have large enough wings to fly.
The answer to the Byun question is I shitpost and make small talk in the chat while rushing proxy immortals in his third. Basically enjoy myself, since I'm likely to lose anyway
"serral is cheesing"
meanwhile all of his opponent are either being over greedy either cheesing first themselves lol
"Mutas should not be able to fly". You mean on maps under the sea or those that should be zero-g but everything still sticks to the ground somehow? ;P
I don’t understand why Harstem just gave up on game one he had two oracles out that could be recalled to zap the zerglings
The zerglings would have killed some probes before the oracles had arrived, then serral would have avoided the pulsar beams until the oracles were out of energy, Harstem hadn’t even started his third base and serral had finished his, he was only ahead in technology and those oracles wouldn’t have been enough.
@@cameronmiller6240 the oracles would push the zerglings away and then recharge it should have been held. Even if Harstem lost 5 or so workers, Serral would have invested a ton of larvae and a fair bit of minerals into those zerglings. I think Harstem was tilted by it tbh
If you watch the previous video loco posted serral is in a similar situation, the oracles can’t really “push the zerglings away” because serrals micro is too good, they just run around the bases and dart back in as soon as the pulsar beams are turned off. Even IF the zerglings disappeared harstem was down a full base, multiple queens, spores have started (harstem couldn’t see the production tab but you can guarantee serral is macroing perfectly during this)…it’s not like harstem was dead when he gged but his chances of winning were effectively zero.
It seems like there's an inordinately high number of really successful Dutch esports people - progamers and commentators... Just off the top of my head, some big ones - Grubby, Harstem, Rotterdam, Uthermal, and of course Lowko. Is there something special about the Dutch culture/country that promotes this?
g e l o w k o n i s e e r d
Welthauptstadt Krefeld :D
Elazer... Holy, i havent heard that name in a while.
8 years ago, EVERY ZvZ was like that Cham series.
Every single game was ling vs ling and each player has two slow banes walking around until each player had 10 roaches then onto muties etc etc
Accidentally I was planning on not watching a SC2 video today, and no matter how true a clickbait; a clickbait is still a clickbait. Although a very god one specially the arrow.
Imagine being so good that you just assume people will resort to dirty tricks because it's their ONLY chance against you... Just wow.
maybe mutas are hollow, so that is the reason why they can have such small wings and why are so low on HP
in US there's a place called Chuck E. Cheese
And so the Cheeseth becomes the Cheese!
Lowko don't be hard on yourself. It is not that you sound weird in Dutch. It is that everyone speaking Dutch sounds weird :D
I think that Serral is making Harstem pay for his little "beat Grandmasters with stupid stuff" stunt he pulled recently on him. Not going to forgive him for that one.
I dare Lowko to say THIS instead of DIS, why cant he THHHTTHTHTHTHHHH
also meryy chitttttthhhhhhhmas
You should change the tile to "CHEE-SERRAL?!"
I have to say this at one point. Dutch sounds to me like a very very drunk German tries to speak but stumbles over his own words all the time
LowkoTV
Why espacially Krefeld in Germany ? xD
Were you there on vacation?
Best wishes from Germany and Merry Christmas
Lowko, why did u specifically mention Krefeld? I live there xd On a seperate not, love ya, thanks 4 your content
I need it.
The fact that Zerg can win so decisively in the early game with minimal commitment is just crazy. Still out expanding the opponent and having a sloid defense with queens in case the attack fails.
Replace Zerg with Serral. If a lower Zerg tried this against Maru, he can win with one hand playing. Look at Serral's defense against Cham game 1. That's how godlike Serral is. Stupid to generalize the race given a player, same as saying Terran can win if they micro like Maru.
I'm a simple man. I see 'Has' in the title. I click.
Serral beating Harstem with stupid stuff
The wings are not to keep aloft, see overlords for comparison. The wings are only used for movement speed. It is so obvious.
smh, Harstem not saying gl hf...
(just kidding, I know he does it during countdown, he was talking about how it doesn't show in replays the other day)
"Man, I hate us when he calls us all 'Finnishers'! My GF never complains..." - Some random Suomi 🤪
With the unrealistic muta wings, who knows there could be lower gravity on these planets than that of on earth.
Is a bumblebee too fat to fly?
“According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyways. Because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.” You asking about Mutas and if they should be able to fly or not.
Kosmischer Saphir
Lowko you kinda sound like mimir from gow lol
crazy that my 3 favorite SC2 youtubers are all dutch... gezelligheid
I feel spoiled. Thanks Lowko
Someone said we gonna 3 rax reapers against byun
The Netherlands sounds tight. I have to get out of the US
So was this more of a parmesan or camembert?
I think their was a recall but only 1 probe? 7:50
Wow serral!!!
No "gl hf" from Harstem in game 2.
It feels like Bully Maguire
More like 36 minutes of Serral clapping those that's not top 8 of the world. If that was Reynor, expect toying with food.
Is this PROTOSS dunno what is Shield Battery?
Go back to the classic intro but do it gravelly main character superhero voice.
