It works. Long review: So, I've had dark underarms for years, since I can remember and I had tried all sorts of things( lemon juice, baking soda and lemon, besan and curd, papaya, qraa cream, coconut oil, tomatoes, etc.) Nothing worked. I wasn't a regular shaver ever, nor did I use hair removal creams ( maybe twice or thrice in my early teens) but I thought waxing would help since it removes dead skin cells, but nothing much there. I'm not too fat, so it wasn't excessive chafing either. No deo usage directly on the skin and no tight fitted clothes. So it was just the way my skin was. I came across this video a little more than two months ago and honestly, I didn't have much hope, especially after another cream i had purchased earlier did nothing. But then I thought that since I wasn't in a hurry and this cream ( glycolic acid 12% or 6%) isn't very costly, so let's give it a try and see. It's been two months since I started using this cream and I've noticed that my underarms have actually lightened up. There were certain dark patches and those areas are better. Yay! So yes, I'd like to believe that this works. But you have to give it time and be religious in the usage. I'm going to use it for another 4 months and will update again after every two months. Warning: I don't have very sensitive skin, so I used the 6% cream first as a patch test and then moved on to the 12% version after a few days. But then again, you should go consult a dermatologist first before using this. It may not suit you and end up causing more harm. Spending money on a dermatologist will save you from spending money on a doctor after any harm has been caused. Maybe even try home remedies for a few months before trying this? Who knows, they may work. Otherwise, this is a great cream. One tube lasts for more than 2 months and it's easily available. Also, I continued to wax my underarms and that has caused no abrasion or darkening. EDIT: so, I recently waxed and a day later, I began noticing that my skin was darkening. I believe this was because of the pulling and tugging during waxing and should go away in a few days. So, the doctor was probably right about not waxing. Will try other methods for a month and see if that's the cause. Thank you doctor Anchal. ( I'm not trying to advertise the doctor or the cream. Just a genuine review because I never thought this would work and I know many people would want to know if it does.)
