He does a deep dive into this product and recommends it!!
Thanks to you Josh I have a ton of Anker products lol. I think this will fit well for my desk. Thanks
You’re welcome. ;)
Although it's a great and versatile charger, it does not provide 12v output, closest it's 10v 2.25A and 15V 3A. Take note in case you want to connect something specific using a custom cable or adapter. No idea why Anker left this voltage out of the specs in several products.
Thank you for the video. If I may say, I prefer they keep cost down and the units quiet and not have built in cooling fans. Especially with power banks. I keep a nebo pal fan/light/power bank in my backpack for just such uses. It makes a real difference. I also keep some USB cooling fans that greatly resemble computer cooling fans. They come in handy when charging devices like these and you wanna keep temps down and charge times faster. Not to mention extending the life of the charger or p.bank. Just food for thought for any of you out there setting up a desk etc. The fans are cheap, whisper quiet and trul
y make a world of difference. Happy Charging!
The new 250w I just reviewed today, is bonkers man. Check it out!!
You think putting some thermal pad and heatsink will lower the temp?
After watching tons of multi USB-C and A chargers and watching them getting to these crazy temperatures I'm asking myself two questions :
- is it because of their compact size that these chargers get that hot?
- Isn't it worth buying two chargers at 100W and charge different devices at the same time with cooler temperatures?
Check the new 250w charging station video I posted today!
i wonder why they do not use a USB-C port at the back for standardized cables. USB C can support 240W so it should not be a problem.
Hey man. Off-topic but I just want to apologize when I questioned that 12w powerbank you posted. That thing ain't bad for 12 dollars. It is a solid secondary powerbank. Anyway, love this video. Definitely a space saver 😁
You've showed everything in so detail. I'm mesmerized after seeing all those equipments you've! Love from India 🇮🇳💯
Great Review, but it's made me also want to get better Powerbank. You call them all 'this guy'. Which one is best, including how fast it can be charged by the Main Charger?
I liked your video. which cables are you using that have the display on them?

Another one from my favorite anker maestro! . Keep up the great work
Thanks for the kind words G4t0c!
My 20000 Prime battery charges at 100W from 0 to almost full no worries, you may have a defective unit (you said it thermal throttles, it doesn't with me and it's pretty hot here now too, room well above 30oC)
Please provide a purchase link for the charging cables

@@wwjoshdew thanks man
To me the sound a charger emits is always the biggest question. Most of them have a high pitch buzzing sound when charging. Its not loud, but very annoying when you have to work/focus in silence. Would be awesome if you could let me know if this charger is absolutely silent.
no sound for me.
Will this support Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0 on multiple devices simultaneously?
To anyone else wondering I went ahead and purchased it and yes it does indeed provide super fast charging 2.0 on multiple ports
I have no wife, oh I have no kids? Dame, i really wanted to get one.
Hey put the link up to the charging cable with the display
Would you still recommend getting this charger? Currently it is on sale during amazon price day.
@@burgerdad5681 just used it last night to charge four power banks at once! lol, so yes!
Company’s can provide easy open tabs all they like, I’ve got a pocket knife and I’m going to use it!
That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all week. Haha. Thank you for that!! I enjoy your “it’s MY KNIFE and I wanna use it NOW” mentality. Haha
This Anker charger isn't UL or ETL listed according to the Amazon listing and the markings on the unit which makes me hesitant to get it even though I'm a huge fan of Anker products. Before this came out, I was strongly considering the Ubigbuy and Alfox 200w chargers with 6 ports on Amazon which appear to be the same model under different brands and they're both ETL listed. They also have very similar specs to the Anker model with 4 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports. I'd love to hear your thoughts on one of them and whether you think having ETL or UL certification is necessary.
I was also looking for that. The octagonal “TUV SUD” with the little “C” in the lower left and “US” in the lower right is a certification that is accepted for CAN, EUR, and USA. Had to look it up since I noticed the “C” and “US” on that certification. Which is an equivalent UL certification that both the TUV and UL agree and acknowledge or something along those lines.
@halo3rules42 Thanks. I wasn't aware of the TUV SUD certification. The first 2 reviews on Amazon of this Anker aren't good but obviously it's very early so I'll wait a little bit before I decide which one to get, the Anker or the Ubigbuy/Alfox.
Is it just me or I don't feel like any device I have ever owned takes advantage of IQ charging I feel like there's not enough devices that have PD charging
agreed. I just want ALL usb c and each to provide 100w and it not overheat. haha
Hmm it’s on sale right now Amazon prime day for $56. Not sure if I need it
You need it!!!
I wish they could put a screen and show how much watts is being used.
Agreed!
Then they would charge more for it lol
Thay have, on the A2345, it's twice the price though
@@JohnSmith-ef8nr wow, was the A2345 just released? that thing looks insane. A bit overkill with all the extra features. Do we really need a clock display???? LOL i'm for sure not going to be purchasing one, especially since it only has 6 ports and looks bulky as hell - definitely not travel friendly.
But I am excited for the day that Josh purchases the A2345 and makes a review on it lolol
@BryanMiraflor
I ordered one just because it looks cool, I wont use it for traval though.
This charger resets my macbook 2-3 times every hour, basically dropping the power and then renegotiating. Its a problem because it forces me to re-login every time. I've changed cables, ports, even outlets. The macbook works fine with other chargers like the 4-port Belkin 108w. Anyone else run into this issue?
The power keeps getting interrupted when charging my 2019 16” MacBook Pro. I can tell it drops when the screen dims and then it makes the charging sound when it starts charging again. Tried it with different 100W USB-C PD cables, including the one that came with Apple’s own charger. No other devices plugged into the charger either.
I think Anker may have a problem here.
@@wootube Interesting. Thats the same exact macbook I have - 16" 2019 Macbook Pro...
@@chrisandsofia1919Interesting indeed! Why do you need to re-log in when the power drops on you though?
@@wootube Its my work laptop and I use a VPN when working remotely. So the VPN drops when the power cycles. And the VPN uses two-factor auth, so I have to enter a key every time :(
@@chrisandsofia1919 I contacted Anker and they're sending a replacement. They also sent a prepaid label to ship my unit to them for investigation. Maybe you should do the same!
ooh, a standard plug. that's great (ac plug anyway)
damn, it gets fairly warm and therefore if only there was a fan to cool it down
Seems like this should be rated at 150w instead of 200w
This i call a useful rewiew. 😊
This is call a nice comment. Thank you! :)
Saw your post on the other video! Haha.
I really like the explanation thank you 😊
those usbc cables are cool
How is Anker not sponsoring you?
Sees 666 on the scale, laughs maniacally. I'd be disappointed if it didn't run hot as hell.🤣
It runs at 66.6 Celsius
How many w the anker 27650 mah will charge a xiaomi 13 pro+ ?
i think anker 250w 27650 mah Power Bank Does not support Xiaomi Fast Charging protocol
Standard will support 15 to 18w fast charging but the proper fast charging that Xiaomi provides in its adapters will not support this power bank.
Didn't you say that you won't be buying this because you spent too much recently?
I did. lol. But then I talked myself into it. That’s what I was saying at the very beginning of the video. Literally as I was opening the Amazon package.
@@wwjoshdewSomething tells me this happens a lot 😂
@@WJC1981 oh yeah. All the freaking time. Haha
The weight proves it's one helluva charger! 😂
I was waiting for this lol
Sweet!
