Nice little Kit and it looked fun to put together. I like Revell kits too as I think they do some really good models and yes they do re box a lot of other peoples stuff some of which is not very good. This kit however looks to be a nice well detailed kit and if it's not your best work You should consider doing a slide show of your work as I would love to see it. Cheers for sharing my friend and keep having fun
How nice of you to build a chew toy for the puppy... ;) Not that he'll be able to find it, with that camo..... Great work, well dung.. erh, done.. :) Have only ever seen two V-2 rockets and both have been green, so that'll what I'll do mine, if I ever build it.. can't remember what make it is now, but it's not Revell.. :)
Builds up into a nice wee kit Ian, going to treat myself to that and maybe look out for 1/72 vehicle (tractor) to go with it, paint scheme was interesting choice, neat, petit and sweet Mr Poulton. Laters, D.
Beautiful rocket Ian. Very nice camo colors and camo pattern. Enjoyed the video. I had a small question, not related to the model but to the video. How do you get to show a white background all through the video? Is it some video trick or do you actually use a white background in the form of a chart paper or bedsheet? And incase of the latter, how do you manage to keep it so clean while painting and cutting etc.?
Yes, a simple white background to work on. It's an A3 white paper pad. If it gets paint on it or messy some other way, I just peel the sheet off to reveal the new one underneath. Revel photos are taken on a large roll of white paper.
I tend to agree with your rant Ian. I thin the model air when I use it these days and find it does work better , despite being "airbrush ready" apparently . Nice work on the V2.....we are our own worst critics . Hope I see you at Telford mate
Why is there detail on the engine part, and why should it be painted, if it is invisible from the outside and can never be seen? I have the model kit, and was asking this question, thats how I ended up here ^^
As long as you think your paints and do a few layers you should be able to achieve just as good a result. Especially as this is a hard edged pattern. That airbrush just speeds things up. Thank you for watching
my kit had inferior plastic, all the nubs on the fins just fell off, and the parts do no fit well, they could learn from Tamiya, and to find out his is not a Revell model but a CMK kit.. I decided to use the kit for Greeblies..
I didn't know that it was a CMK kit. I thought scalemates said it was a special armour kit from about 10 years ago. Sorry yours wasnt great quality though
@Lars-Gunnar Grönvald most were aimed at London yes, a few aimed at Amsterdam I believe, after the allies took the city. The one that landed in Sweden however was a test firing, intended to test a ground based guidance system and was meant to land in the sea off the Danish coast. The ground guidance operator made an error and it ended up exploding in the air over Bäckebo.
I just love your vids
Thank you. Not really done one for a while
Don’t be hard on yourself! This is an awesome 👏 job! Great work!
I don't know how I missed this comment. Belated thank yous
This rocket looks really nice Ian, I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing this. Cheers ... Josh
Cheers, Josh, thanks for watching.

Cheers John. Up close, the paintwork is scrappy, there are paint ridges all over. The photos are far better lol. Thanks for watching.

She's already eyed up my Vostok rocket!
@@UKscalemodeller That's what puppies do best.. :)
That's awesome Ian!
Cheers Jordyn.

Cheers Mr Citizen :) . There's a 1/35 version on the market too that comes with the correct trailor
It looks to be a great kit and your result looks alsow great.
Thank you. There are a few issues with the paint job that are easier to spot with the naked eye.
I like it!
I build the "hobby special" kit 13 year ago!
I need to build another better! this revell with your works looks pretty nice
Thank you Jerome.

I'm a tamiya convert these days. I'll be at both days for Telford. There's a YT meet up on both too.
@@UKscalemodeller cool. What time is everyone hoping to meet and where

Great job!
Can you show how to deal with seams?
Not very well as I'm not that good with them. I'll look into making a tutorial though about how I do it.

after building this one, i would suggest trying to find the old one from the 1970's with the trailer. it was a very good kit for the time.
Cheers. I'll look out for one at the nationals

No idea tbh. They do another V2 that has a full interior that can be seen if built a certain way.
I've build a lot of revell kits and I usually just glue it first , then put it on
Glue what first sorry?
@@UKscalemodeller glue the parts first and then put it on, unlike many people which put the parts on, then glue
What if you dont have a spray painter?

Some landed in Sweden but most of them were accurate.
Aimed at Denmark but way off target I believe.
