Clever ideas here. Honda Element is the King of compact camper vans.
Dude this was legit man! Sweet setup and ride man 🤙
Looks like Goleta Beach Park below UCSB. I live in Santa Barbara too. 👍🙂
yup!
How do you get to your spare tire?
Aw, I hope Murphy got a treat!
Very nice setup
Honda is bringing the Element back!
I live my 2005, runs like a top.
Have slept in mine on flattened back seats with a pad, not bad.
Whaaaaa? I didn’t know it was coming back!
@@travisderose -Yes, I saw it on a guys channel who is an Element expert, trustworthy I think.
That Honda totally underestimated the popularity and appreciation of the Element when they quit making them. But have finally decided to re-issue it.
Probably out of my budget, so will keep babying my 2005💕
@@DChristina ..
That is a satirical website Miss.
Honda is NOT bringing my beloved Element back.
I even offered to sleep with the CEO but to no avail.
@@DChristina Honda didn't underestimate the Element. They discontinued the model because the sales weren't there to continue producing it.
@@infonut - Guess I really fell for it- another example of wishful thinking clouding the facts. Point taken.
Great setup. Don’t listen to the stick in the mud 😂
Any chance we can get the dimensions on the cuts he did? Looking to do this exact build! Thanks so much.
honda element 2008 is rated to carry only 787 lbs. So eliminate the siding on kit, which is heavy and instead just use posts like the fold out front. IMO Yeti coolers are ridiculous expensive and can't believe anyone would buy one
Good idea about the siding. I think he won the Yeti in a contest. They do work great though!
@@travisderoseyea, but he took out the seats and hardware, how much weight did he eliminate?
@martinginsburg7222 to each their own
Would it be easy to put the hinges on the under side for the bed extension flap so he wouldn’t have to worry about snagging clothes or something like that?
How does he sleep without foam or gel mat
Goleta beach park!
Interesting idea😊
Alright!
man the build is awesome. Too bad I daily mine and need my seats in there. I only take it off when I need to go camping. I'll have to make adjustments to my design for storage.
Yeah this one is a bit tough to take in and out but not horrible
@@travisderose honestly it would help if I have a roof rack to store some stuff away.
@@projectkod Yeah good call
Súper
What kind of roof rack is this?
How heavy is it ? Elements are prone to sagging over time.
He doesn’t leave it in there all the time so it seems to be fine
Sagging? You mean the suspension springs compress?
liked.
Do you have the plans to build
No, sorry
I’m not giving that dog a treat
She’s sad now
