  • As with all of our remanufactured products, Abilene Machine takes great pride in our remanufactured longblock assemblies. To insure years of trouble-free operation, all components are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before assembly.
    Blocks are align bored, the deck is resurfaced, and the sleeve counter bore is recut to guarantee they fall within OEM tolerances. Connecting rods are resized and the center-to-center dimension is corrected. Your longblock contains either a new or a reconditioned crankshaft (depending on availability) and is assembled using only the finest namebrand parts on the market today.
    Our quality control program dictates that specifications, tolerances and cleanliness are checked and rechecked during final assembly. As a final precaution, all remanufactured longblocks are wrapped in plastic to prevent contamination. We're so confident of our remanufactured longblocks that we back them with a one of the best warranties in the business.
    Our Longblock Assemblies Include:
    •Fully Machined Cylinder Block
    •Reconditioned or New Crankshaft
    •Reconditioned Connecting Rods & New Rod Bolts
    •New Pistons & Sleeves
    •New Rod, Main & Cam Bearings
    •Remanufactured Oil Pump
    •Reground Camshaft & Lifters
    •Reconditioned Cylinder Head
    •Remanufactured Oil Cooler
    •New Gaskets & Seals
    Thank You for Watching and Have a Great Day.

    Great video . I'm about ready to do a major overhaul on my 3010 gas. I'm in the process of modifying one of my engine stands to support this thing. Two uprights and heads on both sides. Now I know about how far up the block the pivot points need to be for this thing to balance right on the mount rails.

      You don't start at the center and work out on that engine. You start at the left rear and go around the perimeter, and then come back to the center and do the inner bolts. So, for this engine - your assumptions are wrong.

    • @selmirikanovic
      @selmirikanovic 6 лет назад

      You can use ordinary impact gun but you need to limit torque (if possible) simply as a way to speed up the work, just to loosely tighten the bolt and then you must use manual torque ratched to tighten bolts to desired value,. Profesional impact guns can be set and calibrated to desired torque, that kind of tools is for example used on production lines. If you look closely, in this video he is doing just that. YOu can do it with ordinary cheap impact too, just reduce presure and impact will have low power, enough to screw the bolt in but not to tighten it.

    • @dave1135
      @dave1135 6 лет назад

      Jason Eads I use mine with the power set to minimum. I run the bolt down until it just kisses the head. Then step torque in sequence until final torque is reached.
