Hi I have a old shoie helmet that's absolutely beautiful, and in fantastic condition however using all year in rain and summer the foam has completely fallen apart, like dust 😅 I didn't realize you could completely change all the padding and was looking to get a new one but now I can just change all the pads !! This video was sooooo good ! Thank you 👍🏼
Glad I could help! Remember the structure of the shell still loses integrity after 5 years. You'll still want to replace your helmet every 5 years for the best protection.
Glad some one else got to it first, what he says is correct. Helmets have an expiration date. Some people argue that, but in all honesty I think it's smart to trust the manufacturers who spend millions on R&D. Especially on an item that's integrity is possibly the difference between life and death.
Thank You. I have a neotech 2 a lot like yours. I have problems with seating the top down the liner on the right side. I can't tell if it is because the sena mic clip gets in the way. But I've tried two ways and two different sets of pads (size 32). Even the tech at the store has a problem. He had to cut or he broke the first one. You made it look too easy. I've been fighting it for two months. That piece cuts my neck often. I had to battle that bracket, I cut, which I shouldn't have to and a small piece sticks out the front.
Nice explanatory video on how to remove and refit the interior lining. One minor thing I would recommend is to do this on a folded up bath towel as you were probably putting scratches in the helmet clear coat doing this on a hard surface table. Just a suggestion.
@@BoostedBunny Such a beautiful helmet, would be a shame to scratch it up! All my helmets I treat with kid gloves and inevitably they end up getting scratches in them eventually. Ah well, a regular part of being a motorcyclist! Ride safe and "ATTGAT"!
Thanks, nice video! Great tip about the padding sizes. I was wondering about that, as I too want whatever my current ones are but I've seen at least three different thicknesses for purchase. Now I know. 👍
Do you know what the mouth piece is called that goes in the front of the helmet that covers your mouth? It's like what pilots wear in high altitudes. I've no idea what it's called and I need a new one.
Has anyone had issues with the snaps popping out and being difficult to pop back in? All the helmets I've tried on at the store have this issue and I'm worried about buying one because of this.
Hmmm I never have. I would guess either it’s snapping easier than you think and you’re still pressing it or they aren’t lined up. I’ve had both happen.

Very helpful video! Thank you!
is it possible to buy thicker pads for front and sides only? I want to make it fit my round head shape :)
Yes they have different sides for the crown and sides etc

No problem. I didn’t realize I answered that from my other channel 😂😂😂

Most annoying music playing over your words....
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear you don't like it. Is it the volume or the music selection?
