There lots of small beautiful villages, also in Croatia on the Adreatic sea
I like Villefranche sur mer , between Nice and Monaco
Cannes, Cascais(Lisbon area), the Turkish Riviera, the Costa Brava, the Greek Islands, sooo many options
I was in Piran, Rovinj, Budva and Santorini, all were very interesting, pleasant and inexpensive.
Beautiful coastal Cities & Towns.👍
This a Dream Channel.🙏
Thank you, Skerry Harry.🤝👏👏
Well researched imo. Thanks for sharing. Jan.
Great video☺️
Temporarily? I got me a condo, right on the water in N. Plagia Chalkidiki Greece and a mountain home in Vlaherna Arkadia Greece. So if 10 months out of the year are spent there and 2 in Chicago, it looks like I'll be here (Chicago) temporarily.
Besides, if I can have a boat and enjoy it for at least six months, island hopping here I come.
All the beaches are beautiful 👍🙋♀️🌍
Nice sharing
Cool suggestions.
I have visited Funchal, Sorrento, seen most of Malta except the fishing village mentioned but I was close by there, been to Sicily but not to Shefalo, and Oia in Santorini,
It's true, I am happier when I am close to a sea or ocean 🙂 Funchal looks pretty cool, hope to visit Portugal this year. Greetings from snowy Canada!
Portugal’s as well as Spain’s waters are too cold to swim in even in the summer. The Mediterranean is not the Caribbean!
@@mariadavis3797 Oh, I didn't know that... So many things you don't realize unless you live in a place. Thanks for the info.
@@mariadavis3797 don.t say what you don,t know !
@@mariadavis3797 Portugal doesn't have a Mediterranean coastline for a start. Spain's waters are comfortably warm enough to swim in during summer.
@@shapeoftimes Hello Canada. It is not that bad, you can have a look here:

Ciao from Faro, Portugal. Jan.
From the top 15, I visited, Saint Tropez, Marsaxxlok (many good fish restaurants) , San Sebastian (many many tapas bars) , Menton and Cadaquès. Otherwise, my prefered visited beaches are La graciosa (Lanzarote /Canaria /Spain ), Lotu (by boat from Saint Florent / Corsica/France ), Berck Sur Mer , Moliets et Maa and Batz Sur Mer (France), Port de Pollenca (Mallorca /Spain), Ostende/ La Panne ( Belgium)
Which one you liked most?
If only San Sebastián were affordable
Nice list. Cesme, Bodrum, Marmaris, Kemer, Alanya can be added to the list from Turkiye.
Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ your channel..... When I retire about twenty years from now; I am OUT OF HERE. (USA).
Suggest reading the Four Hour Work Week and not waiting 20 years! 😊
Get outta here quicker
Cadaques is famous for Salvador Dali as he lived in that area. You can visit his extraordinary house nearby but you have to book in advance, The Dali museum is also in nearby Figueras!!
Great selection, as few wild cards I'd add Sète and Antibes, 🇫🇷 France and few small towns on the Costa del Sol,Spain.
Best beaches (organized with beach bars) in Geeece, would be a spectacular video!
Which island you like most? Mykonos was cool but the beaches weren't that special tbh. Going this summer to island hop!
unorganised, remote and beautiful beaches are wonderful too
Eline emeyine sağlık 👍🎁🔔
Oh u didn’t mention some of the top villages but okk.
There are so many beautiful villages and cheap to live in Montenegro Albania or Croatia for example and u come with St Tropez where a coffee coast €6.
Love them all.
Generally, I would advise to look into nordern spain, more than san sebastian: Santander, gijon, coruña, and their surroundings. Is pretty affordable, nice beaches, everything is green around.
Quite developed so good internet, public transport, airports, and norhtern spain, which means good food.
Bad side is, weather is colder and wetter than rest of spain so better fit for may-september, both inclusive.
I agree
When talking about Cadaques, he mentioned Picasso but failed to mention that Dali lived in Port LLigat, a small town on the edge of Cadaques. You can visit his home which is now a museum. In Figueres is the main Dali museum.
Was there great place
My town is number one! You right Carvoeiro Algarve is the best!
Elafonisos simos Beach.
Batumi 🇬🇪
Nazare can get very windy.
Yes its a surf place
Waves and wind are brothers in arms.
👍
I'm wondering what the water temperature is in these cities. Whenever I stayed in the south of France, the Mediterranean was too cold to swim in, however in Barcelona, it was quite comfortable.
Greece turkey spain italy etc are better options to make a trip in the Mediterranean
Black Sea is the best option for swimming and also perfect salty for regeneration and skin problems
It's never too cold to swim.

2022 and still no timecode?
Exactly my thought! If you mean time stamps, that is. LOL!
These places are cold in winter and overcrowded in summer.
Funchal is warm in winter too and overcrowded in summer is only St. Tropez, Cefalu and Sorrent. The rest of 12 places absolutely not.
Santander
2:08 thank me later
Santorini? Really? The island is so small that you will get bored within a week. You can not do anything and in season, you are trampled by tourists disemabrking from cruise ships.
You missed half of Europe, this is just the southern part.
Nobody is interested in beaches in Sweden, Poland or Germany, darling! LOL! 🤣
