Great video, thanks guys. I am off to Mallorca in 2 weeks and thanks to your video I have better idea what to expect. I didn’t know there are so many nice places in Mallorca ❤
Hi . It was a very informative video and thanks for the tips. I have some questions. 1) Is it better to rent a car there or taking a taxi to go to different locations? 2)to rent a boat, do you have any recommendations or any company providing good service? 3) For providing an itinerary, is it recommend to plan going to the places you mentioned based on what you showed in your video? Thanks again for your time. BTW: although I realized that the script is made with the help of Chatgpt, but stillI think you made it very detailed and professionally. Wish you luck and success with RUclips!
Hi! Thank you for watching. 😊 Here are our suggestions to your questions: 1) Renting a car is definitely a better option because it is cheaper and convenient. Taxis are mostly available in the city of Palma and the hotel/resort towns but not so frequently near the tourist attractions. Our hotel called a taxis for us but it was definitely difficult for us to get one for the return back. Also they were not cheap. 2) We used Get your guide to book our boat rides. You can definitely rent one from the tour agents near the ports, there are many such stores which you can visit to do this. For our trip to Soller and Sa Colabra, we booked the tickets from Click Mallorca. This ticket includes the Train from Palma to Soller, the iconic tram to the port and the ferry ride to Sa Colabra beach. It was quite convenient since you can get all the tickets together from them at their counter in the Train station Soller located in Palma. If you do plan on doing this tour, make sure you book your tickets before since the trains get quite full. 3) You can definitely also drive up to some of the places in the video but especially for the Soller and Sa colabra route it is recommended to take the train as it takes a really scenic route. It is definitely a different experience while visiting both the places as a complete day trip.
Great video! I knew most of the places from my previous visit but had no idea about the castel de Bellever! Going to visit this place on my next trip for sure!
Great video. We’ve not been for years, but love the island. We definitely want to try the vintage train. We stayed in Alcudia and adored the old town. Cheers guys 🍻
I think that most people goes to Mallorca for party. They know Magaluf (Maga) and nothing more. Usually people goes to Mallorca for the best holiday in the life. One week of party, drinking and dancing.
Great video! I am doing research for a trip to Mallorca and really enjoyed watching this. For first-time visitors (couple w/out children) staying for a week, do you recommend staying in Palma and driving to the other places, or do you recommend staying anywhere else on the island? We enjoy nature and small towns. We also enjoy being in a city - so, there's a lot of flexibility. We do prefer a quieter area in the evenings and good food. Thanks so much!
Palma is a great place to stay but you can also choose one of the resort areas like Can Pastila (where we stayed) and enjoy the beach and good food at the same time. Make sure you avoid the party places (S Arenal and Magaluf) if prefer something quieter.
We stayed in Can Pastilla. Most of the times we got around with the cab and sometimes the bus. But if you can rent a car, you’ll save a lot of money on cabs.
Thanks for the wonderful video! I wrote down the10 places in Mallorca you mentioned!:) Our family will visit Mallorca in 3 weeks and can't wait. August will be hot and crowded but that was the time we can all go. I have questions to ask you. (1)Our son wants to bring a drone and was it ok to use in Mallorca? (2)Also do you recommend that we buy tickets in advance including the Palma Cathedral, Vintage Train ride to Soller and Caves of Drach? Thanks so much!
@@ashleylee2232 thank u for watching! Have fun on ur vacation ☺️ 1) We did use a drone in Mallorca but u need to be sure to stay away from the airport and other no fly zone Also, from public places, please respect the other tourists and natives who might not like it if u shoot them using drones. More secluded places are better to fly ur drone. 2) We bought the tickets atleast a day before especially for the Soller trains as they sell out pretty fast. For the cathedral and caves if u want to avoid long queues it is better to book ur tickets beforehand. The cathedral and the caves also provide specific time slots for ur entry so u can choose according to ur preference.
Thanks 😊 I didn't have any issues but there are a lot of no fly zones (natural parks, bird sanctuary etc). You can check this official website drones.enaire.es/ to know where the no-fly zones are. Eastern side of Mallorca is the best place to fly drones because of less restrictions.
When did u go to cuevas del drach.. (which month and time) how come its not crowded as what people say.. im planning to go there this August .. hope u answer me 😊
Hey 😊 we went there last month (early June). It was very crowded when we were there even though you may not see it in the video. One trick is to slowly move towards the end of line once you're inside. That way you will get some photos without anyone in it 😁
Renting a car is the best option. If you don’t want to rent a car, then stay near the places which you want to visit because taxis can be expensive. Public transportation is not very good 👎
Hey! Thanks for the video, if we cant rent a car whats the preffered way to explore this island? And what would be best places that can have good transport ?
Hi! Thanks for watching 😊 You can easily move around in Palma with public transportation, however outside Palma it is not very good unfortunately. You could opt to take a taxi but they are also rare and expensive. If you stay in Palma you could try to book some tours to some places, eg., Soller with Sa Calobra or Alcudia with Formentor.
We stayed near Can Pastilla too. We definitely recommend our hotel: Helios Mallorca Hotel & Apartments. It is close to the beach and the hotel could book you taxis when you want to go somewhere as well. Some tour companies also pick u up from this area.
We did not, we opted for cabs and tours. I would say the spots you see here are a mixture of easy and difficult drives. It totally depends on your experience. Especially the serpentine route could be tricky for non experienced drivers. You could opt for a tour/cab instead if you are not very comfortable in these routes. The other places were more or less easy to drive to.

8:55 can you tell me how long does it take to go from Palma to Drach caves by car?
around 1 hour by car
@@InBetweenTrips thank you 😀
Awesome thank you looks so nice we are going at the end of September, where did you stay and how did you get around the Island?
We stayed in Can Pastilla. Most of the times we got around with the cab and sometimes the bus. But if you can rent a car, you’ll save a lot of money on cabs.
Great video guys....I am planning it for next month. In how many days you covered it all and how is the public transport there
Thanks for watching. We were there for 7 days. Over long distances we just took the cab. We didn’t find the buses there to be very reliable.
