Its a much better idea then the disaster Spiderfarmer is doing on the newest SF4000s.

They thought they spread the chips out all the way out the far edges bunching em up and rearranged the bulk of 660s so they are slap dab in the middle.
They're trying to eliminate hot spots and give it a better spread but it's a fail till they either increase the board size a bit or work the kinks out.
Neighbors got 6 for a garage grow.
2 are normal 4 kook like Stevie Wonder showed up for work that day. They used to be real clean and symmetrical. These are bunched up haphazardly slapped around all over the place. And the water proofing they use is like shrink wrapping. Really thick on the edges in places and non existing in other places.
But anyway I appreciate your up beat attitude in your reviews.

Sadly it's still just a board light. Will still prolly make hotspots in the center but it shows promise over most of the other board lights
Cool feature that might actually work. I would like to see someone test it with a real meter because your meter tells us nothing. Your definitely not reading the true ppf output with that thing. It can’t even read the correct nm ranges. It doesn’t even give you a ballpark because it’s meant for regular light lux Why even use that meter? Just hold up a glass of grape juice to see how much better the light makes it through Lol
You should look into the cellphone app called PHOTONE it works way better then that embarrassing unit.
With the app you tape a piece of paper over your camera to use as a meter. Please tell me you don’t tell companies you will do a par test in your video because if you do that’s terrible.
What was that reading you were taking anyway?
Cool light but the meter was a pointless addition.
All that meter is good for is showing slight changes in intensity... real meters are like 500 plus, this was just for entertainment value and basic info.
@@CannaBeardGrows ok I understand. Yeah because there are spectrums that meter won’t even pick up. You can have two exact lights side by side and if one light had more reds putting out a higher 3 times the amount of ppfd that meter won’t pick up that red spectrum because it’s out of its nm range and will read the same as the one beside it without the reds when it is truly 3 times brighter.
I hope you understand what I am explaining.
They have good cheaper real led quantum sensor meters for like $200. It’s made by hydro farm. The numbers will never stop moving but it is actually the true reading of the light. It will bounce between 5-10ppfd but is still a much better unit.
Atm i dont care alot about pars and lux, there are other tubers that test lights. Im more for entertainment then science
