The one thing all these gardeners have in common, they are willing to do the work. You have to love it to get out there everyday and put in work. It really shows in these videos of beautiful gardens. OK, zone 4!!!
Janey, I feel so honored that you showed my video!! Although I’ve been gardening for a long time, using social media to educate about gardening is new to me. I was just plain giddy when I watched this video.
Thank you for sharing my garden, Janey! I've been enjoying this Show Me Your Gardens series so much and have gotten a lot of ideas as well as inspiration. 🌸😊
I LOVED ANN IN ZONE 5B!!!! Because her gardening style is PEACEFUL and not busy busy busy like most gardeners. I like all the different shades of green with POPS of some color
Holy moly, I think that bushel of Annabelle hydrangeas in the last video is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. If I lived there, I wouldn't get anything done because I'd just be staring at them all day long lol. Love this series so much!
Another fabulous display of gardens!! I love what Joyce said about planning out and planting up a garden space that you can maintain. Yes, yes, yes!! Her space wasn’t enormous, but it was absolutely stunning! I don’t have a large garden space, but because I don’t feel overwhelmed by it, it brings me so much joy!! Thank you everyone for sharing.
I am also from IL, so LOVED seeing these gardens. What a fantastic idea to showcase each zone it really highlights the creativity and skill that is out there.
Man! I learn so much from these gardeners ❤ Its also amazing to see their unique visions and even plants used. Scottish Thistle??!?! What in the world 😱😱😱
Thank you Janey for including my garden! If you are ever in the Chicagoland area you have an open invite to visit in person. I think next year I’m going to add a couple small planting areas along the pathway in my backyard. I’m also planning to put in some outdoor lighting back there… it should be festive. Thanks again!
Wow!, beautiful gardens I'd like to see mine looking gorgeous by next year. Thanks for sharing this video can't wait for the next one. Have a great rest of the day 👋 🙂
Hi Janey, thank you so much for including my garden for zone 5! Looking at the video, so much has already changed in a few weeks with the roses and raised beds. I appreciate you sharing my garden and I loved seeing the other gardens in my zone. There's always so much to learn from other fellow gardeners! 💚👩🏻🌾🐝
Climbing on the roof to show your garden…how fun! You must be the life of the party, which should be held at your house, because of that amazing garden! The border was full, but still defined. I enjoyed all of these gardens so much. Thanks to everyone:)
All beautiful, us in zone 9 can’t even imagine how they don’t struggle with the heat we have but all have their own struggles 😬the last lady informative and entertaining, loved the view from the roof ( old time way of getting a Birds eye view 👍🏻😃)
Janey, I loved seeing all the gorgeous Zone 5 gardens (I live in Zone 5a). I can see from these gardens that I really need and want to do a lot more hardscaping in my gardens. Thank you for this fun series, I've seen things in every garden (no matter what zone they're in) that I'd love to incorporate into mine. On a side note, the abbreviation for Iowa is IA (in case you want to correct that). Thanks to everyone who shared their lovely gardens with us.
Hi Janey, I L❤️VE starting my morning with these “classes” from all these gardens that are shared! Thank you and to all the gardeners. I am especially loving the lower zone series as they apply to my zone! 🥰🌸🇨🇦
wowzer - what fabulous gardens. thanks to all the gardeners who shared their gorgeous creations with us - well done !!!! I'm encouraged and inspired for sure ...
That was fun! I love those Northern gardens (or Midwest I suppose) and how they don’t have to water. Right now my system is down and I’m manually watering twice a day and come in absolutely DRENCHED in sweat. Beautiful gardens ladies! ❤
I live in the northeast and this summer have watered my veggie bed only once (when it didn't rain for 5 days - a record, lol). No drip, no sprinklers for lawn, nothing. I shudder to think of having to water twice a day in the summer heat! But then again, when it's raining 75% of the time gardening isn't that fun 😅 amazing how so many different climates exist in our country.
My garden was the second one shown in the video. I have inground sprinklers and it’s been so stinking hot I’ve been hose watering all my planters every day.
Oh, these beautiful cooler zone gardens and hydrangeas make me have garden envy! They were all just so GORGEOUS...and that scotch thistle is just wow🤩!
I love this series. So fun. And this is especially fun when I see my friend Vita sharing her amazing garden. She is so knowledgable and is always there to help me with my garden. Kudos to you Janey for sharing these great gardens.
Vita's garden is wonderful! She is a very good teacher and patiently demonstrates how to stretch your gardening budget on her channel. I have learned a great deal from her videos.
WOW!!! As a zone 9b SO CAL gardener I am so jealous! My hope is to create a garden half as beautiful and lush as some of these gardens!! Good job everyone!! Once the heat subsides in my garden I will get back to it - as several of the gardeners said - it is therapeutic to garden! I can't wait for fall - I am inspired!! Thanks Janey for bringing gardeners from across the world together!!
Well, good morning, Janey what beautiful gardens. I am dealing With powdery mildew This year and aphids. I had to remove all of my potato Vine because the aphids were having a banquet. first time I have ever dealt with powdery mildew in 11 years of gardening. I I can see some dedicated Gardners. They're love 4 gardening shines. Thank you, Janey, for sharing these gardens. Have a blessed day the Oklahoma gardener.😊
Vita uses budget-friendly methods like dividing perennials and starting plants from seeds. Its very rewarding! Lynette showed us how she uses kiddie pools to revitalize plants purchased at clearance sales. ( I love plant bargains too). Gardeners with large or small budgets can use strategies like repetition of plants, mixing textures and focusing on using plants that grow well in their particular growing conditions, to create a beautiful garden. I love watching these garden tours to glean these strategies. Very inspiring too!
There is a wonderful daylily farm/ breeder just outside Laurel Mississippi. I think in Sharon mississippi. She has over 450 varities, i heard. So they love heat, dry, wet, cold. Here in Missouri they do grew from -8 degrees to 112 degrees. They really do help stop erosion, weeds and are prolific to divide. A real power house perennial if thats your style.
I really enjoyed this (my zone gardens). There is always something that you haven't seen, heard of, or a technique that hasn't occurred to you yet. Love love!
I have enjoyed these zone 5 and 6 gardens! I am right on the border of 5b/6a in IL, so they especially apply to me. We hand water, and go through flip flop, two weeks of watering every day at 90+ degrees, to two weeks of on and off rain, so no need to water anything but pots. I have a lot of the same success...hostas, heucharas, daylililies, hydrangeas, peonies, roses, foxgloves, astible, coneflowers, and black eyed susan. I will try to be better at filming. We are starting to plant more natives that do well .
Oh my! Beautiful gardens ladies! I am determined to try hydrangeas again! Going to develop a new area with the no till method this fall and plant some in the spring, again.
I noticed that too and thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention to where that garden was located, then I was like, wait, there is no state abbreviated IW 😂
So many beautiful gardens (and homes!) I especially liked seeing the Chicagoland area gardens because I live in a western suburb of Chicago and it’s so helpful seeing what is doing well in these gardens! I’m shocked at how well the Bloomstruck and Endless Summer hydrangeas do for Ann because they don’t always bloom very well in other gardens in Chicagoland.
Hi Angela… my garden was the second one shown on the video. I’m in Elmhurst and if you’d ever like to come and see it in person you are more than welcome! Just let me know.
Hi… that was my garden! The reason I didn’t show the ferns in the back was that they have been really taking a beating in this heat. I believe they are ostrich ferns. they go to town in the spring but they struggle some during July and August. But I have had success with Japanese ferns and Japanese painted ferns. At the beginning of the video next to my garage where I have the coral colored begonias and hostas there are Japanese ferns mixed in there as well. It’s pretty shady there and they thrive.
The gardeneer in NY talked about an invasive weed everywhere and hard to get rid off...in my far northern CA yard I battle vinca mina, trumpet vine and cantor bean trees they sprout everywhere no matter what you do can't stand any of these invasive plants.
Don't ever ask me to get on the roof for any reason. Borrow a drone from a friend. The lady with the 3 advices is right. Don't plant unless you can take care of it. I created 3 new beds last year with clearance plants, but I've had health issues this year and can't take care of them. It hurts to look out and see the weeds.
Janey! Would you like to see an Australian garden? I’m in AUS and would love to share my garden with you!!! 🌱
Yes!
I would love to see your garden. Janey please
I would love to see it
Yes, that would be so cool to have a showing of gardens around the world!
She has shown other countries ( eg England and Vietnam I believe) as well as Canada in her last series, so I’m sure it would be no problem!🇨🇦
Thanks to everyone who shared their garden. It was informative and relaxing!
The last Gardner won my heart with the roof climb. 🤣🤣🤣❤️
yes, the gardener went the 'extra mile' to climb onto her roof...thank you for sharing your gardens.

I was so excited to see you at Baumans Gardens today, you are even more awesome in person. You and Brian make magic with flowers.
Holy moly, I think that bushel of Annabelle hydrangeas in the last video is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. If I lived there, I wouldn't get anything done because I'd just be staring at them all day long lol. Love this series so much!
Lynette from NY - Lol up on the roof!! She's a rockstar 😅 and lots of great tips!
Lynette’s garden is beautiful ❤and liked the idea of clearance shopping!! Thanks Janey for sharing those beautiful gardens with us 🙏😊!!

You are so supportive to other gardener.
Love your videos.
The last gardener with the “roof drone” Lynette 😂😂😂😂
That last lady on the roof was captivating! Such charisma, I wish she had a channel! What an amazing teacher
I second that!
Wow!, beautiful gardens I'd like to see mine looking gorgeous by next year. Thanks for sharing this video can't wait for the next one.
Have a great rest of the day 👋 🙂

Very pretty gardens! Since I garden in 10b, I envy the lush green colors and hydrangeas!! Nice work everyone.

Great gardens, thanks Janey! I knew Lynette was reaching for pruners in her pocket - a gardener after my own heart!🥰
Lynette’s garden is fabulous!

These gardeners are so talented and true "garden nerds" like me! I love this video and congratulations to all of them,
Thank you to everyone for sharing your gardens and for the helpful tips, too! Your gardens are beautiful!!! Loved the "roof view" ...❤M

Thanks, Janey for sharing these gardens, they were as gorgeous as all the others you showed.
Love seeing all of these gardens in different zones, they are all so beautiful!!
How nice to hear from a fellow New Hampshire gardener on your show, Jamie. Your gardens are beautiful Vita and I love your You Tube channel as well.
Vita's garden is wonderful! She is a very good teacher and patiently demonstrates how to stretch your gardening budget on her channel. I have learned a great deal from her videos.
Thank you so much, Diane! 🥰🌻

Beautiful and breath taking gardens!
Hi Janey🌺 . These gardens are gorgeous so pretty and the hydrangeas grow very well for them . Have a fantastic day .
Love this one so much. Gave me a lot of ideas. For one I want to try and grow some Annabella. Thanks again everyone for sharing your gardens.

They are beautiful, let's see some that don't cost a fortune.
Janey can only show what’s submitted to her.

I wish I could find that yellow flower Lynette dead headed in her video. If your reading this your garden is sooo beautiful ❤
Globe Centaurea try Monticello gardens
Lynette is seriously invested! That sky view shot was awesome but seeing her up there made me nervous! 🌿
Hi Janey, all the gardens are beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Oh my! Beautiful gardens ladies! I am determined to try hydrangeas again! Going to develop a new area with the no till method this fall and plant some in the spring, again.
Incredible gardens ❤❤❤

The abbreviation for the state of Iowa is "IA", not "IW". Joy's garden is spectacular!
I noticed that too and thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention to where that garden was located, then I was like, wait, there is no state abbreviated IW 😂
This. Is. Awesome!
I would love to have peonies but I really don't think they would do well in Florida.

DOES ANN IN DEKALB ILLINOIS HAVE HER OWN GARDENING CHANNEL? I am re-listening to find out
❤
I like how Anne used Pussy Willow as an obelisk!
Thank you! I’ve kept the pussy willow obelisk up all summer, even though they were originally put in at Easter with pansies!
On the second garden would love to have seen the ferns! I have been wanting ferns but don’t know any great ones for zone 5b
Hi… that was my garden! The reason I didn’t show the ferns in the back was that they have been really taking a beating in this heat. Nice to see all of the beautiful gardens but I am missing seeing your garden and beautiful family ❤️🥰
Japanese painted ferns, autumn ferns and Christmas ferns grow well in lower zones.
The gardeneer in NY talked about an invasive weed everywhere and hard to get rid off...in my far northern CA yard I battle vinca mina, trumpet vine and cantor bean trees they sprout everywhere no matter what you do can't stand any of these invasive plants.
Cool idea! I’m in mid Missouri zone 6❤ I have a recent video of my garden on my channel if anyone wants to see it.
