Most people, well, me and my friends, always have hair up for cooking, gardening and painting, or restoring stuff because it gets in the way if it's down.
Your a beautiful lady either way, hair down or up. I must tell you, I didn’t recognize you at first. You do look younger with it down. I understand you putting it up while you cook and work in the garden. We love all the work you do and always want you to be comfortable.

When I was a kid my dad put an old metal mailbox I the garden for my mom to put an assortment of her hand tools in. We used that for years and years, it was still there when my mom sold the house when she built one in the country. He did it the right way and cemented a wood 4x4 in the ground. My dad was very handy, I miss him 😢. He passed away 20 years ago this month. Love you dad!

Our neighbors drive is along the back of our property and I want to do that to the top of one of our wooden fence posts! My neighbor and I are always sharing baked goods, eggs, veggies and other goodies so she could drive up and grab it half way up her drive!
I had 7 mailboxes in my garden for tools. Very handy!

The set of 8 glasses you found at about 9:15 with the little bubbles around the bottom are from the 1950s. The pattern name is Berwick (but many people refer to them as Boopie glass now since a writer who specialized in vintage glass dubbed them that in - I think - the 70s.) They were a less expensive version made by Anchor Hocking of a well-known pattern of better quality glass called Candlewick. My grandmother had a complete set of 12 of all the glasses - there were 5 sizes - along with other pieces of serveware and some small stackable ashtrays meant to go on the dining table or scattered around the living room during a party for individual use. Sadly, my mother hated the pattern and only kept the ashtrays. 🤷🏼♀️ The pieces you were looking at are champagne glasses. And they make spectacular dessert dishes. I ate many a delicious dessert - panna cottas, chocolate mousses, etc from them when I was growing up!
ETA: The shape I think you're looking for (like the Berwick ones, but shallower and wider) is a champagne coupe. Pronounced coop, like where your chickens live. 😊

Love your mother in law as much as your mom. You are extremely blessed Becky. My mother in law never would go shopping with me. Ever. I asked many times. She would say “ why would I want to do that” and blow me off. And my mother passed away 10 yrs prior. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much joy. Like this. It might seem trivial to some, but to me I just want to be adopted into your family. Such great parents and in-laws and THEE BEST HUBBY. 😊 Looks like a great day you had. And love the hair. I totally get her bun when she's in the kitchen. I caught my hair on fire last year while I was frying an egg! LOL. Thank God it wasn't a major blaze, but definitely a little flash!

Many many years ago on a Martha Stewart show she was setting her table with varied China plate patterns. I made my China set with different flower designs. With the table set I have a bouquet of flowers! And if we take our plate with us we know which plate goes with who. Back in the day 2nd hand stores sold off ball China plates individually. That's how I got individual designs. "My set" of eight. 😊💚🐸😎

Hello Girls! Renee, I DO remember the 'Tweety Bird' plastic wall forms that you showed Becky at the 2nd thrift store you shopped. I'm 66 now and I used to sell them as fundraisers at my Junior High and High School in the early-mid 1970s. I sold many Tweety Birds, Roadrunners, and Bugs Bunnies, lol. Great times, great memories! The plastic Tweety Bird we didn't have, but we had a snowman, santa and Rudolph that hung in the front windows when I was a child at Christmas. We are talking about the 60s and 70s.

Becky, I am much older than you, however, as a teen, I collected and read every Nancy Drew book, and I am so sorry that I don’t have them anymore. I also read the entire series of Cherry Ames, she was a nurse and the books went from Student nurse through her entire career, they were great. I live in east central NY and we don’t have any great shops, like yours, in our area. Wish we did, or maybe not, I would be broke 😄

Another good place to find antique stores is in Centralia and Chehalis! The glass containers you are looking for are called "coupe". They used to use them for champagne and martinis
Becky to clean the enameled cast iron heat it first than cover it with a baking soda paste. Leave it 15 minutes add water and let it boil. You may have it to repeat the process but it does the trick

My thoughts too. Mom has been gone many years however we loved to antique shop/browse. I still enjoy but it was better with my best friend/mother. I love the marigold color Iris and Harringbone depression glass.

Oh! And I think the cute little, compact flowers you liked are called Pompons, a variety of mums. But there are also Pompon dahlias which are similar but a little bit bigger and you might like those!

I agree, Becky, your hair does look pretty down gives you a little lighter lift in your step. I just wanted to share with you that that fancy cooking utensil that had a wooden handle at the top that was moon shaped is either a dough cutter or a biscuit cutter you use it rocket back-and-forth with your wet and solid ingredients and it cuts into the dough.
