The photo capture of the comet was gorgeous. You're were not far from us.. We live in N Idaho at Lake Pend Oreille, Farragut State Park area. Another Great video!
i Love to go along on your travels. I would love to see some cooking videos/ what you eat in a day type stuff! We have a teardrop camper and I like getting new ideas!
I've been thinking I need to do more of that. Was difficult on this trip because of the propane issue. But we'll be heading out on another long fall trip and will put it on the list. Although our menu is generally pretty simple.
We have a Dometic DC/AC compressor refrigerator in our Hymer. It's small, and it's noisy. But we love it. No way I would go back to absorption refrigerator that burns propane.
Nice to see you in our old stomping grounds of NorCal and Oregon. Lucky to see Neowise. Here in North Carolina we got into a pattern of daily clouds so we never had clear northern skies. On your way back south you should stop at our favorite threefer in Central Point, OR - Rogue Creamery cheese, Ledger David wines, and Lillie Belle chocolates if you can properly social distance
Was going to camp in the Emigrant Lake area last fall, but a late September blizzard in Glacier and near Truckee/Reno drove us further south. Looks like we need to head back after Alaska trip in 2021 (hoping it happens). I installed both mine and Brandi’s Laguan tables, you won’t have any problems. Travel safe!
In one of your videos, you mentioned a "curtain"?/ partition? between cabin and cockpit of your van. Did you make it? Can you tell me which video might have the directions? You have so many clever, creative ideas. We appreciate all your sharing! Thank you!
Funny that you ask. Someone else asked me the same question and I couldn't find the video but it is super easy to make. The first curtain we used was before we had the cab shelf. I purchased an insulated curtain from Target and cut it to the appropriate size. In that case, it had to be curved for the roof of the van. Then I attached the hook side of velcro and at night would just stick it to the fabric on the roof of the cab. Then when we installed the cab shelf, I stapled the loop side of the velcro to the edge of the shelf and cut the curtain to the appropriate size and reattached the hook side of the velcro to the edge. I think on the second go I also added an additional layer of fabric for extra insulation. If you have any more questions or need photos, drop me an email: energymaven@gmail.com
The falls were so beautiful & refreshing! Funny, we camped with cattle this past week too😂 We’ll miss our annual Spokane & N Idaho loop this year with the kids. We remain on opposite sides of the border. Enjoy your trip & looking forward to your fridge swap!
Awesome shot of the comet! Love this trip to Spokane. Have you camped in the rain forest yet? It’s a wonderful trip down or up the coast. All the beaches in Washington are amazing with all the trees that have fallin in the water. Very beautiful.
Such beautiful scenery! I slept with my back doors open and my screen on the back for the first last weekend when I stayed at a friend's winery in Angels Camp. It was wonderful. Great video!
Such a fun video... My grandparents owned property in Shingletown just off Highway 44 many years ago, so I spent quite a bit of time there as a kid and young adult. Seeing the first half of this video brought back some great memories. The wife and I are looking to buy a PleasureWay RV similar to yours' at some point, so I always enjoy seeing how you and your husband make such great use of yours'. We rented one in Calgary and spent 2 weeks traveling up through Banff, Jasper and surrounding areas last year and got hooked. Thanks to you and your husband for sharing your adventures.
What a terrific shot of the comet! So excited to see what Doug has done with his van in this past year. Most of all I can’t WAIT for the fridge install!
Like your blue/beige top with the white tassel tie, who makes it? Nice view of the comet, glad you got to have a great viewing spot. Thanks for another wonderful trip through your lens.
Thanks for sharing this video, I don't think I have ever seen this area on any other traveler video before. McArthur Burney Falls State Park with the beautiful waterfall is a must-see for me. Thanks again.
Really good video! Lots of familiar places in northern CA and central OR. If you haven’t traveled hwy19, John Day Hwy, it’s really beautiful. So much to see in that area. Loved the photographs and drone shots, excellent!!
Awesome! Thanks for the great information about how you find your dispersed camping. We are in the process of looking for our first RV or some other form of freedom in our travel. Nice comet pics!!
Beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing. I also want to share a tip. I noticed you seem to like skirts. I love to camp and hike in skirts but the problem of women’s clothing not having pockets. I now buy men’s hiking shorts on sale and rip out the inseam then sew them into a skirt. Some times I need to use the material I cut out to make a kick pleat. Men’s board shorts make good skirts also.
BW Brady country Mercantile, on 395 when heading out of tri-cities towards Spokane. It’s not too far out of Pasco. It’s great and we always stop there when in that area.
Hey you’re learning to use the drone! Great footage with it, and the other scenery as well. I love tagging along on your travels and long for the day when I can replicate your journeys. My van isn’t quite ready yet though. Stay safe and healthy and enjoy🚐😷❤️
What a great job on your videos what a beautiful country we have. Question would you be able to access the back of the RV without the swing arm you added? We just ordered Rad bikes and are trying to find the right rack for our Lexor. Thank You
Greetings, did you ever fix the level issues in your tanks caused by the suspension upgrade. We enjoy your videos....they provide a lot of information and entertainment. Best wishes, Phyllis and Rob
How do you handle bugs, flies, mosquitos, etc when you're boondocking? Especially when you want to just sit out without a fire! Would think the bugs would keep me in the RV as soon as the sun starts to set.
We haven’t experienced any bad bug issues on this trip. If you are away from water it isn’t a big deal and of course we keep our screens down. We also go to bed early.
Do you know where Doug got his car seats? Our Roadtrek’s are disintegrating Looking forward to seeing how you like your new fridge, we swapped our Dometic to Novacool,. Life changing!
Just a note: in the past, we have been able to install the Wet Okole seat covers in our cars and a Eurovan ourselves but Wet Okole insisted they needed to install the Sprinter seat covers themselves. This meant a trip to Costa Mesa, CA which is the only place for installation outside of Hawaii. So - there's a chance you can install them yourself depending on your vehicle. They are great neoprene covers and last forever. However, I did have some with red piping on black which looked great until the red started fraying showing the black underneath. We went with straight black for the Sprinter, which is more boring, but will take more abuse.
@@lindaazamian9287 I think RUclips has changed the settings we are able to make because I can no longer set it for ads at just the beginning. I will look into it further when we get home. I hope I can get it installed without too much difficulty. But definitely looking forward to it.
I just got back from a cross country trip to CA and also went to Burney State Park. One of the best waterfalls I’ve seen.

One of your best videos yet! Can’t wait to see how the refrigerator project goes.
First video of yours that I've watched!, really enjoyed it. Did I notice a couple Rad Mini's on your van? We love ours.
Welcome. Oh yes, they are a blast.
Glad you are here to enjoy our "two months" of summer here in Washington State! LOL!
We were only there one week.
Nice job & greetings from Alabama!

No, you need some sort of swing hitch. I know that Thule makes one that might hold the weight of the bikes. Don't know the price though.
