Thank you for this video and on Friday I got auto failed for red light turn right but I am not giving up. Next time I won’t take on red light and always take green light.
Just got my G! And a huge part of that were your videos. My anxiety was through the roof but these two videos actually helped a ton! Thank you so much! Love and support from Toronto :)
Autofailed on my second retake first five minutes cuz of this… never wanna make a right turn on red again! But i think i feel like… im ready? If there’s a need to I think I know what to look for. Pedestrian on my way, wait till they on curb, pedestrian leaving my direction, halfway im good
Hello! Great question! When making a left turn, you should turn into the lane that matches the one you’re currently in. So, if you’re in the leftmost lane, turn into the leftmost lane on the street you’re turning onto. This helps ensure a smooth and safe turn. Here is a video that might help: ruclips.net/video/Zgg9tg-BC_4/видео.html In this video, instructor Ben completes a variety of difficult left turns in busy intersections. Hope this helps!
Hello, correct! If you don't have to make a right on a red, it is not mandatory; you can wait for the green light. When taking the test, if possible, we suggest waiting for the light to turn green. There is a much lower chance of something going wrong that can earn you an auto-fail or a point off on your test. However, you should still know how to make a safe and legal right on red if needed. Sometimes, an examiner might ask you to turn if the wait is long and traffic is piling up behind you. Even then, your priority is to ensure it's done safely and legally. Hope this helps!

It’s not mandatory to turn right on red, correct? You can wait for a green on the test in CA?
Yea you may wait
