I enjoyed it. Great popcorn movie that didn't take itself to seriously. I had low expectations cause there were so many ways it coulda gone so wrong. Had they tried the tone of the original it woulda fell flat. As it is I consider it more a separate movie that happens to be about bouncers than a remake.
connors has the best line as nox, which is now my favorite movie line of all time. NOX: "YOURE GOING TO KILL ME NOW? I THOUGHT HE HAD TO BE FRIENDS FIRST".
That bop to the guy who plays the guys son that Conners been called in to do the job. Is the funniest punches ever. Cause iv seen that in real life so many times an the noise is made. But it's done to make the punch look even worse for the person who got punched. If you do sound affects. It's purely to show how small the person is your hitting
A ufc fighters pain tolerance is already off the charts but with connors newfound hunkiness plus the fuck ton of cocaine in his system I bet he could get hit by a train and not notice
The Conor hate is ridiculous. What he did for the sport is unmatched. No other (UFC) athlete went worldwide famous like him. Sure he fell off and has had some drugs problems. But what man out there can say they have done more than him with their life potential. I wish him well. I really do. I’m 2 years + 7 months sober. Hardest thing ever to face life without a safety blanket or crutch to numb you. Conor will eventually face those demons. One way or another. He’ll have to go face his addictions. When he does he’ll be a better man for it. Cheers, M
Que cuerpazo el de Jake, está super bien trabajado, se ve guapísimo, me encantó su papel en la película "El duro" me impresionó mucho ese gran cuerpo...!!! 🥰🥰🥰
It’s great to hear how much Connor helped during filming and how much you learnt from him. Just a shame Connor in front of the camera was shocking! His acting was terrible
Look I absolutely love you guys in the movie it was an amazing movie I'm watching it over and over again I'm looking at the Klipsch I mean just epic freaking epic
Idk what y’all are talking about it was good could have had some better smaller part actors and it’s not supposed to be exactly like the first one but they did leave some bits and pieces from the first roadhouse and they are already making a third just so yall know
I swear I met a guy here in MT who looked just like Connor McGregor. I had to joke with him a bit, and he was nice about it. Imagine how embarrassing it would have been if it was really him😂😂😂
YOU'RE SO RIGHT, literally nobody can replace the charm of Patrick Sawyez, just like nobody can replace the charm of Jason Statham as: "Frank Martin" in the Transporter series PERIOD!!
I think it was good, but the cgi was way too unrealistic and cartoony like it was out of place. There needs to be more practical effects over cgi or at the bare minimum a nice balance between the 2
I cant bring my old self to watch this version of Roadhouse, I guess, out of sm odd feeling of disloyalty to the original which I hv always liked a lot. Kinda like when they did remakes of Red Dawn or Point Break, which were both terrible.
i understand the disloyalty thing, but ill tell you right now, it is cartoonishly funny and a little satisfying whether you divorce it from its superior predecessor or not. i thought it was a certified mess, but i still enjoyed it, jake and connor carried.
totally understand. I won't watch psycho remake. But I didn't feel that strong a connection to the original Roadhouse, mostly because Patrick Swayze never could convince me he was a fighter. I could believe Jake was a fighter. The plots in both are stupid.
I thought the same thing before I watched it. It's a different story line with an homage to the original. There are Easter egg nods to Swayze in the movie that I was happy to see. Gyllenhaal said he never intended for it to be an actual remake, it's more or less heavily inspired by the original. I did martial arts for 12 years, so I personally thought it was well done. I was very impressed with how well Gyllenhaal did, especially to learn and change physique over 40 yo. It's much more difficult.
I agree... People are trashing how bad connor was, but i thought he played himself well, and it was very entertaining.... Jake is still "Bubble boy" to me, but i thought it was a good flick...ill watch it again.... (And for you turds that are gonna troll me....yes ill admit, i like the original road house too...)
Connor, 3am, balls deep on coke, spitting instructions. Must’ve been epic. Lol

I can't unsee that now
I don't think diabolical is the correct word
Pov: when Conor forgot he was acting 💀
Producer: And cut.
Conor: oh shit we was rolling? I was just showing him some moves.
Director: And that’s a wrap
They should make a roadhouse series with these 2 as bouncers.
The series wouldn't last long due to the fact that sooner or later someone always brings a gun .
Tell me that you didn't watch the movie without saying it🤦♂️@@AngelCastillo-dg7ju
I don't know if Jimmy Fallon is right for the part but okay I'd watch it
@@BryGoosethis comment almost killed me 😂😂😂
Did connor even know there were cameras around? Felt like a typical week for him more than a movie.
Connor telling jake how to act is like jake telling connor how to fight 😂😂
Who calls conor for acting at 3 am😂😂
They made a movie together wtf
They played in the new "Road House" movie together. I thought the movie sucked, but that's what happens when an '80's movie is modernized
@@HDFXSB645it wasn’t any worse then the first one. The movie did suck but the fight scenes were wayyyyyy better than in the original.
@@HDFXSB645movie was okay, not close to as good as original though
You want the names of the producers or the movie studios
This was actually a decent remake. Can never replace Swayze, but this stood on its own. Great job, good movie!
WORST REMAKE EVER! Nothing more than a hype train AND A desperate attempt to save & revive Thuggregor's dying MMA career/legacy.
They should've named this movie anything else cause the original was bad ass guy that didn't run or coward or let people destroy the bar...

I love how real the fights seem.. The foot placement during the fights was awesome. Having Connor was a great idea.
Real? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Conner really was good in this movie, we’ll fight seen wise. I’d really like to see him play a more serious villain
Why did jimmy actually make me fucking laugh
To get punched in the face by that dude.

What a bromance.😂

Gyllenhaal has been simping on Connor since they filmed this. Every damn interview.
Thank god it was not Mike Tyson…

I didn't expect much going into Roadhouse but it was a really fun movie.
Conor McGregor literally reminds me of a cartoon character in that movie
HE'S also somewhat like a cartoon character in real life TOO.
He said 😯, and I said 😲
That movie was way better than I thought it was gonna be. It had some p issues but Gyllenhaal was awesome

Connor helped Jake really look like a UFC fighter. Jake did not help Connor look like a real human.
McGregor's character need a spin-off.
