@15:40: Nate obtained Sir Francis Drake's ring 16 years before the events of Drake's Fortune, not roughly 10. In the end of Uncharted 3, Sully buys a new airplane, and comments on how Drake and Elena wrecked his first one 4 years prior (referencing this game). I'm nitpicking lol

I think only the only sin acceptable in the Uncharted is every area having enemies. Throughout the game, the bad guys are in the lead when chasing the treasure. But every now and then, we catch up and kill everyone, and then we have the lead. Yet somehow there are always bad guys to fight. Take this for example: Sully was giving false clues for the bad guys in order to buy time for Nate to catch up. When we caught up to him, we kill everyone. Then we open some stone door or something. Something the bad guys never did. Yet when we go into those catacombs, there are enemies. How? And also, the Nazi Bunker place. When we first encountered the Descendants with Eddy, we had to gun and run our way to the Bunker. Then we had to leave Elena behind because "she couldn't make a jump". And in the end, the bad guy's capture her. How? There was only one way in. The one where we had to go through a bunch of Descendants. How did they get past them???
Oh, the horrible cover system alone is worth 100 sin. (Not including any bug) Also, the clear ability the AI has for dodging headshot would made spiderman jealous. (Perhaps only noticeable in crushing&hard difficulty) - pacing issues also. In Elena's defense, she was shooting at an enemy. One shows up on the door way behind that broken wooden floor. He is easy to miss except when playing in crushing, since he magically shoot down with great accuracy.
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune takes place 4 years before Uncharted 3 which means the young Drake flashback takes place 16 years before Uncharted 1, not 10 years!
+TheGamingArchive19 In fact, Drakes Fortune takes place 6 years before Drakes Deception, not 4. There is always 3 years of difference between each game.
+Isaac Clarke at the end of Uncharted 3 Sully says that his new plane isn't as good as the one that Nate and Elena destroyed 4 years ago (Uncharted: Drakes Fortune)
You keep complaining about cliche this and cliche that, well why don't you write a story for a video game that has none of the cliche's used in movies, tv, books, and games.
We know its a joke and it was fine at first, but pointing out the same obvious cliche evey time it acures does get alittle annoying and makes the video unesecarely long and distracts from other jokes which are actualy well thought and funny
***** I was referring to Jak and Daxter, and somewhat Crash. Uncharted is the first series that they have actually ended, and they've been making games since the nineties....
At 16:00 I believe that there is a pirate hidden in the wooden rafters above. He would occasionally snipe me with a pistol while I'd try to hide from bullets in that first room. You can encounter him if you turn left up the following staircase. I also seem to remember a treasure up there. :)
JF_paes15 It was back when most of the PS3 stuff wasn't fully developed to improve the graphics, also because at that time, Naughty dog has only made platformers(From I remember)
AlexBelanger100 I'm wasn't talking about graphics, I was talking about technical aspects like bugs, the character clippling through some places, and some gameplay glitches that can be seen in this video. The game looks unpolished for a ND game, and even if they only made platformers(and some racing games) up until the PS3, Crash was their first platformer and it didn't show the same type of problems that Uncharted did. Good thing Naughty Dog knows how to improve both the good and the bad of a game and make it even better.
JF_paes15 I think this is because this is the first game they made that was "realistic" in a way, since both Crash and Jak and Daxter obviously aren't realistic. But, damn. The graphics for this game are amazing for an early PS3 game.
1:42 This doesn't count as sexism because there are some guys who also don't know how to use guns. That question is a general one. What if you're paired with someone who doesn't know how to use a gun? Then you're fucked. 1:45 You get double sinned for giving this game another unnecessary sexism sin.
Sin zero - Goodbye, creative world of Jak & Daxter, hello Indiana Jones rip-off. --- Also, what's up with Crash 1, J&D1 and Uncharted 1 all having jungle-themed levels? --- Yeah, regen health... It's not really a problem in and of itself. The bigger issue is the fact the game forces you to suck up bullets like a sponge. In Jak II&3, on the other hand, a skilled player can avoid getting hit most of the time, which led to a much more interesting gameplay than this cover-based crap, in my opinion.
No, Uncharted 2 story was a lot more varied and had great set peices and characters. All 3 games stories made sense, with a mythical fantasy thrown in.
Lol. You serious? :D. Mythical fantasy was actually only thing that made sense. More set pieces and characters yes but boring two dimensional characters with no depth and set pieces that gets old.Standing on a ledge that is waiting for me to move so it can fall down is not exciting , i am sorry. Uncharted 2 has most obvious two dimensional characters ever created in a video game. You are mistaking great dialog and writing to the good characterization. You can predict character behavior just by looking the screenshots. Yes its that shalow. This video actually shows how one dimensional every character is, UC2 and 3 just added more of them. Dialog consists of back and forth nonsensical exchanges of puns and wisecracks. Bad guys are greedy evil people and drake is super hero that kills over 7000 people in a 3 game. Yes it make sense if this game was from dynasty warriors series
Bosko Savic Well, that's how you see it, I don't. Stories can be simple but still engaging if the interactions between characters is natural and not forced, stories don't need to be overly deep to be good. These games are story driven cinematic, Indiana jones type adventure in the first place, so why even try to downplay it to make it seem like the stories are secondary, when that's why people always enjoy playing these games?
i understand what you are saying. But like i sad i think that you are mistaking engaging writing and dialog s to the good storytelling. I didnt say its not engaging i just sad that plot, world and story made most sense in UC1. What i am saying is: UC1 was set on remote island somewhere and you can do whatever you like there with plot and world. But UC2 and 3 was set in a "real" worlds and locations so you need to suspend your disbelieve and brain to much so you can enjoy it. I am sorry but you can not travel with army, tanks, helicopters, around the world. :D Imagine if Indiana Jones killed 7000 people in 3 movies. And even funny lines gets predictable and old after 10 hours. Just think about it, Yes its engaging to see them talk with natural interactions but they dont share any insight into ANYTHING.that you didnt know or figured it out already about character plot or the worlds you are in. Only reason why they talk is for you to not fall a sleep from boredom until new set pieces can take place :D
It’s wild to think that the same company who made this game eventually got heavily involved in feminist politics and released the Last of Us II amongst all of that controversy. They must have really felt guilty or something to go from this direction, which is very much at the expense of women in many jokes or dialogue sequences, to the direction they are going now, which is like hyper social vigilantism.
In my opinion Uncharted 2 is the greatest of all 4 games. I do agree that this is the worst in terms of gameplay. The aiming is oddly off, enemies get cheap hits off you, and and the stupid motion controls which was thankfully removed in the remaster.
7:26 Because Nate and Elena were standing behind a tree and it kept them out of sight of Navarro’s Men here, you realize that they don’t have a eye on their right temple to know that Nate is there.
Nah! Fans of the game aren't pissed off for that reason. The dude waits 8 years then slags off the game. By today's standards Uncharted 1 wouldn't stack up to what's current but back in 07 this game was regarded highly for graphics, score, gameplay and story, if you go back and watch a movie now you loved as a boy you wouldn't see it the same way because technology has moved on as has acting and story writing.
I have noticed one error at 3:22 about this video you commented about Elena's camera being waterproof and you said they don't exist after I did my research on google via my phone and guess what you're very wrong they do exist and Dartigan made the same blunder on his sin episode of this video game so that's a sin on you.Frankie Croft Smales.alienbugstomperfan
Why did he leave his ring behind when he stole it as a teenager to get the decoder working? Has he forgotten about the decoder and thought "I don't need the ring anymore"?
1:06 What Elena is saying is true, Sir Francis Drake did indeed not have any children when he was married twice in his life, but when Elena says “Apparently” she means that this information likely isn’t true considering that we don’t a time machine to see if that is true or not, do you think Elena would’ve believed this and told Nate but with different wording?
This is the first time I actually have a complaint about a Sins video and that is because indeed you sir were prejudiced by saying that the men should know Spanish because they are South Americans. I am South American but I do not speak Spanish. You know that Brazil is South America's biggest country, right? We don't speak Spanish in Brazil. Apart from that, that's a great video!
1: paper back cover in a 16th century book. (bling) 2: Sully is in debt but has a plane AND a boat. (bling) 3: boosting tiny Ellena up tests Nate's strength. (bling) 4: Indonesian pirates in Caribian. (bling)
+TheEagleOfLightAndNight 1. It's not paper, it's leather. 2. Yeah, people can be in debt but find a way to get shit. 3. I'm 4'8" and my mum struggles to lift me. 4. They also heard of the treasure and travelled there.
+Julian “Hellion” Keller Jr. 1: old lether isn't that flexible 2: why not sell the goddamn thing and squre the debt? 3: your mum isn't a mustle man. 4: 'Tell me again why you hired that superstitious idiot.' 'You wanted someone cheap.'
My biggest problems with this game: 1) The story: It was pretty good most of the adventure...but the supernatural part wasn't the best direction to take it IMO. Honestly just ticked me off to have to kill endless waves of discount Gollums. 2) Hiding behind cover vs rolling: I swear....every time I wanted to roll away from enemies getting too close I'd just roll straight into a worse cover position. Especially once the snipers started getting abundant. 3) AI BS: Fall down and land on Sully or Elena, you spasm in place for 10 seconds then instantly die. Beautiful. But my _MAIN_ complaint here is enemy toughness, which he hinted at the video. How is it that every enemy takes 3-5 hits to kill? Every. Single. One. Even the shirtless enemies can get blasted in the chest twice and still be able to fight. Terrible. I'd give the game an 8/10...it was still pretty epic overall.
+asher labrousse my score is 8/10 too or well it was back in the need to re play it part of and uncharted marathon eventually as uncharted 4 is so brilliant so is uncharted 2 . But my only complains about the game was more or less it was bit clunky. I loved the supernatural parts. And you could arguarby say the characters could be better and so the last boss.
Good job on this episode! It's good to see another video from you guys. Maybe you can do one of the Metal Gear Solid games (although that would probably be a really long episode).
you missed a sin. the fact that the jeep could drive backwards off the the bridge when the cutscene and sound effects clearly suggested the jeep thing was RWD.
Sin #4 (0:52) - Wait, why is this a sin? Sin #33 (4:46) - He glanced through it earlier, how do you know he didn't see it? Sin #37 (5:07) - Ha! Tomb Raider much? Sin #96 (12:39) - Huh, the villain rarely does what I'd do in their position.
+D MAS Another thing about Sin #33: there was obviously a time skip between them getting on the plane after the pirate attack and when they ditched Elena, so Nate had plenty of time to look through the diary and memorize a few things.
So I have the Nathan Drake Collection now so all I have to say is, these three games are so amazing. I had Uncharted 4, but never the older games. I bought Uncharted 4 for twenty dollars. PlayStation Hits is a gift.
1:37 Why would they need to bring binoculars? Nate wasn’t expecting to have Eddy Raja’s Pirates come after him and he did say after this cutscene that they’ve been tailing him for weeks and thought he lost them.
Great story, great characters but the gameplay is the worst. You have to empty a whole clip on one enemy and the parkour is buggy as hell. Besides that the series is great, except legacy and 4. Just play the newer tomb raiders

Sully was giving false clues for the bad guys in order to buy time for Nate to catch up.
I love the "sully is a dirty old man" song

Oh, the horrible cover system alone is worth 100 sin. (Not including any bug)
Also, the clear ability the AI has for dodging headshot would made spiderman jealous. (Perhaps only noticeable in crushing&hard difficulty)
- pacing issues also.
In Elena's defense, she was shooting at an enemy. One shows up on the door way behind that broken wooden floor. He is easy to miss except when playing in crushing, since he magically shoot down with great accuracy.
Red24DryBones The first game is the only one I never played on crushing. 😂
+Joncharmed93 Better yet, name a game or movie that doesn't contain any of these cliches...
This video is not about telling the game is bad. It's all a joke
He's not "Complaining". This is comedy. Don't take it too seriously.
We know its a joke and it was fine at first, but pointing out the same obvious cliche evey time it acures does get alittle annoying and makes the video unesecarely long and distracts from other jokes which are actualy well thought and funny
I see you're referring to the Cinema/Gaming Sins Cliché Cliché.
Anything NaughtyDog puts out is gold...

I can tell anybody that this game series has the best theme song...HANDS DOWN!
Damn right!
Was laughing really hard at the camera part in Sin 120 even though I am sick and coughing. Especially that "Nooooooo", really funny asf.
The intro song gets me hype
At 16:00 I believe that there is a pirate hidden in the wooden rafters above. He would occasionally snipe me with a pistol while I'd try to hide from bullets in that first room. You can encounter him if you turn left up the following staircase. I also seem to remember a treasure up there. :)
For a Naughty Dog game, the first Uncharted looks kinda unpolished.
JF_paes15, It was in 2007
DeadZombieGaming 12 And?
The ring necklace is part of his model so he keeps it on in fights even when he leaves it in screen play.
1:42 This doesn't count as sexism because there are some guys who also don't know how to use guns. That question is a general one. What if you're paired with someone who doesn't know how to use a gun? Then you're fucked.
1:45 You get double sinned for giving this game another unnecessary sexism sin.
Luckily they added a remastered version on the ps4 which is drakes collection. SO most of the problems have been fixed
Sin zero - Goodbye, creative world of Jak & Daxter, hello Indiana Jones rip-off.
---
Also, what's up with Crash 1, J&D1 and Uncharted 1 all having jungle-themed levels?
---
Yeah, regen health...
And now with the PS5 out games are about time 😂
As a new fan to this series, I'm kind of glad i ended up playing the ps4 remake, because some of these game problems don't appear in that version.
8 years later....

+1 Sins for GamingSins. Damn, I'm good.
This was actually only Uncharted story that made a little bit sense and coherence.
Several million people have to disagree with you there.

As much as I love Uncharted 2 & 3, I'm not a big fan of this one.
Brock Butler I like all of them. But gameplay is the worst in this one. It's no fun at all.
In my opinion Uncharted 2 is the greatest of all 4 games. I do agree that this is the worst in terms of gameplay. The aiming is oddly off, enemies get cheap hits off you, and and the stupid motion controls which was thankfully removed in the remaster.

You have to do uncharted 3 - 4
20:22 you forgot to mention how time consuming was for that one puzzle. The book doesn't even explain it very well.
It does
Actually, the main language of many regions of South America is Portuguese, not Spanish. Those guys could be from those regions.

Drake is actually Desmond Miles, and what's better is the voice actor is the same, that's why he can climb like that and fight

24:47 - Sin on Gaming Sins for not picking up on the fact that Nate's missing ring suddenly turns up around his neck!
Finally a new one! These are great, keep them coming
My biggest problems with this game:
1) The story: It was pretty good most of the adventure...but the supernatural part wasn't the best direction to take it IMO.
Why is the aiming so bad in this fucking game
Good job on this episode! It's good to see another video from you guys. Maybe you can do one of the Metal Gear Solid games (although that would probably be a really long episode).
Please do Uncharted 2 and 3 next. I love these game and I am looking forward for Uncharted 4, but do all the games in preparation for it please.

I just wanna say that they fixed alot of stuff in the uncharted the collection like the aiming system, enimes stop chasing you,and cover system
AstralMuffin105 I'm not even a fan of Uncharted, but I can point out flaws at both it and the sinner.
So I have the Nathan Drake Collection now so all I have to say is, these three games are so amazing. I had Uncharted 4, but never the older games. I bought Uncharted 4 for twenty dollars. PlayStation Hits is a gift.
Also, In the Nathan Drake Collection, after a month, Drakes Fortune crashes my game everytime I load it.
1:37 Why would they need to bring binoculars? Nate wasn’t expecting to have Eddy Raja’s Pirates come after him and he did say after this cutscene that they’ve been tailing him for weeks and thought he lost them.
Man, I remember way back when I first got my PS3, and played this game. That was crazy
DynamicHunter it was awesome, I got it for 3 dollars!
DynamicHunter i completed the game a few days ago (i have a ps3 and ps4)
Great story, great characters but the gameplay is the worst. You have to empty a whole clip on one enemy and the parkour is buggy as hell. Besides that the series is great, except legacy and 4. Just play the newer tomb raiders
Eh? 4 and legacy are great
23:18 also the zombies don’t attack Elena when they’re close to her and just target Drake
