    Hi Angela :)
    great tutorial as always, you always explain things so clearly and makes following easy to understand :) love the cricut easy press mini....what I find a little disappointing is that they didn't include a timer, that would of been excellent...maybe they might make another one including a timer in the future that would be awesome :)
    thank you for sharing this video, was very interesting and helpful :)
    would like to see you use it with infusable ink :)
    Happy creating and have a nice day :)

    I saw on HSN They put it only for 20 and rubbed instead of pressed. Came out nice. Then they did the 15sec. Rub like you did in the end except they didn’t press it just rubbed it with the mini.

    It works so much better with a shoe form. If you are going to be doing shoes a lot, it is worth the cost and time to go and buy and form from a store. You can buy and sometimes get old ones the stores are throwing away. Just ask. Great tutorial! YOU ROCK!

    I wish Cricut would cater for Australia....been asking about it for over a year now and still nothing
    its a shame as I would buy a lot of their products, and I am sure many would too that live in Aussie
    Cricut has some awesome products, but unfortunately Australians can't buy them as they only cater for U.S Canada and UK....oh well can keep hoping....
    Cricut are losing out, losing a lot of custom ....
    keep up the great videos love them :)

    Hi lovely. Thanks for your video. It was very useful as I’ve just recently purchased Cricut mini press. May I ask if you have to purchase a particular brand of canvas shoes to work on or will it work just as well on any plain canvas shoe? I’m asking because I’ve also purchased the mug press and I’m told that I need to purchase specific mug blanks to create with the mug press. Thanks in advance. X

    Seems like the heat made the canvas seperate from the lining of the shoe. You can see the bubbles on surface of the shoe underneath the area that was pressed.

    Hi Angie. First of thank you for all of the the instructional videos you provide to fellow crafters. I have been wanting to do shoes for quite some time, but I still have my doubts about the mini. I noticed your shoes bubbled, which is something I want to avoid. I also tried a certain paint that had to be heat set and the same thing happened with the fabric bubbling up. Is there any way to avoid this that you know of? Maybe I’m too picky, but to me those bubbles ruin the look of the shoes no matter how cute the design.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 года назад

      You would just have to find shoes made of other materials. Pretty much the cheap shoes will do this.

      An iron does Not distribute heat evenly at all, but all of the easypresses do. Also the iron does not have a way to control the exact temperature but the easy press does. The only one that does not let you control the exact temperature to the exact degree is the mini but they have it made where the low, medium and high temp is a set temperature so really they all set to an exact degree. The other easy presses you can set a timer as well as pick the exact temperature you want, down to a specific degree. example would be say you want 377 degrees you can do that which is extremely helpful. And they all have the Teflon smooth plates and even heat distribution. None of which you can do with an iron and remember and iron does not have even heat distribution. I've also ran into a problem with irons is the little holes on the bottom of the iron that you can have steam come out end up leaving an imprint in your vinyl and material of that imprint if you use that part of the iron which really sucks.
