I love my mini-press iron! It's been wonderful for little canvas bag decoupage and other smalls, plus I use it for large transfers on canvas bags and tea towels. I cover with parchment paper before ironing. Great little tool!

The easy press gets alot hotter than the average iron. If you want to do small INFUSABLE ink projects it would be a must have over an average household iron.

Hi, cricut newbie here! Do you recommend to always iron on multi-layer tranfers one layer at a time? I just bought my first cricut and I'm so excited to try a project.
I used to worry about that and would do 10 to 15 sec for each layer and then the final 25 for the last layer but I have never noticed a difference in durability or lasting from one way to the next hope this helps
I do most of my pressing with a 15 x 15 heat press. Pressure is a huge factor for keeping the HTV on the t-shirt, towel, hat, etc. Is this mini press going to be able to press the garment enough where you can see the fabric through the vinyl? Will it stay on? (I just received my mini today, haven't tried it out yet.) Thank you for your video!
A mini iron would work just as well. And would be cheaper. You seem to have to press down really hard to get the iron to heat up the transfer. Not something that would be good for people with hand, wrist, muscle problems.
Do you need a circuit machine ? Or... I dont have a cricut or the money for one so im trying to find an alternative.. Would i have to have the circuit for print an cut first? This is more in my budget but didnt want to buy if i still need a circuit machine.

you will need a cricut or die cutting machine to do super intricate patterns, but you could hand cut and layer different colors of heat transfer vinyl on your own. This is an accessory. technically you can just buy heat transfer vinyl and the transfer sheets from your local craft shop. Then hand cut your shapes, and then use this product (easy press mini) to adhere your design to the material. you won't have such an easy time removing the top layer of clear from the pieces tho.

BB1 it has even heat and never loses heat in one area like regular irons. It is small enough for the projects shown in the video and the ergonomic design allows you to hold it with ease and use the point of the iron when needed. There are 3 heat settings. I did not buy any of the other cricut heat presses as I have a 15” heat press. But this little one I bought and it sits on my desk for small projects, anything that needs heat, I have it in 30 seconds right there on my desk. No, not just a regular iron. 😃
I find that the program works better on ipad when it comes to uploading pics from the internet that you have to clean up. Otherwise they both work well

Karissa Wright I believe the clear sheet you are referring to is the plastic carrier sheet. It is what the iron on vinyl comes on and it is what is left after you weed / remove the pieces of vinyl you aren’t using. I believe that is what she is putting on to also prevent ruining the layers that are already ironed on. I hope I answered correctly and that it made sense! I notice that you’re applying heat directly to the transfer paper. Other tutorials are saying to put a thin cloth or parchment paper between the heat and transfer paper. Today I’ll try applying heat directly to the transfer paper now that I see it’s safe to do.

@@charplattner395 go ahead and use parchment paper on top when you iron anyways, it is just a good idea to keep the iron plate clean just in case :)

Can I also use infusible markers with the mini iron on toddler tennis shoes?
They say it does not work with infusible ink it may not get hot enough but I personally think it would work
Why do you need to move the mini constantly but you do not move any of the larger press?
From my experience if you leave it in one spot it leaves marks (the shape of your iron) and if you move it it won’t do that

Hi! not sure if you'll see this, but how long do the designs normally last after washes?
I have been doing this for over 10 years and it lasts a long time after a years of use you may see some cracks or pealing but it takes a long time

You don’t have to, the vinyl acts as a protector... even after it’s taken off, you can still add heat to it
