Big fan of the Boxer, but I can see the attraction of having something that can be thrown with a whoop and some batteries into a messenger bag and carried around without being worried of breaking something too expensive.
OMG I just got the Cat get up!!! 🤣🤣🤣 It probably would've lasted longer if new out the box. I mean after all you did get Nicks Sloppy Seconds haha. He did drop it from like 13 feet or so!!! Thanks Nick B for supplying the test radio!!!
Since I like small radios and my old frsky has seen better days the pocket might become my new radio. Would be nice to finally use ELRS without carrying around an external module
Its just a new feature, Zorro is getting old now and the pocket just came out so i'd assume every controller from RM now in the future will take 18650s as those are king.
I love my Boxer, even ordered the clear case for it when they started selling those by themselves, but the Pocket looks like the perfect thing to toss in a bag along with the little case my meteor65 came in just in case I can get some flying done in the middle of a long day out. Definitely going to put my own stick ends on it though with some threaded rod. Thumb Grippies FTW.
lol I never thought of stress testing a radio, with all the radio's I've ever owned I used to be very careful with them but seeing this video really puts my heart at ease. you definitely earned a sub! I can't afford radios for my hobby and if I ever win one it would definitely help me a lot

This looks great except for the gimbal size. Otherwise built in elrs, two 18650s and the ability to drop it in a backpack without worry make a winning combination.
I got that wingman/fractal 65 in that I ordered after watching your videos on them. This wingman is a fun little drone. I love the cruising/endurance style, fits me well. 🤙

Only issue i have is the gimbal size/throw. Wish they were a little closer to the zorro size at least. After using the Boxer for months, I felt like i was flying way more twitchy with the Pocket. But if youre used to smaller gimbals, this is a super sick radio for the price.

The stick ends should be able to be replaced with ones already available for the DJI controller 2. I have a set that I got cheap on amazon that can take standard stick ends.
I’ve been looking for a compact radio to go with my whoops. I’m currently using the Taranis x9lite and looking to get into elrs. Seems like a great option but the gimbals on the t lite are probably a lot better
It looks like a nice and compact radio and indeed the big plus is the bigger batteries in comparison with the Zorro. Can we get this one in purple :) in the future? PS I would like a Zorro with bigger batteries and in purple with ag1 gimbals really bad too ;) because I do like the real switches also...

You really had to grind down the stick ends? I got the radio master sticky nuts for my tx12 and I LOVE how grippy they are... But I pinch.
I thumb and go a bit hard on my gimbal tension. These stick ends left deep divets in my thumbs 😄
