When I sleep tonight. This will be in the background. It is so nice. I always loved your music. I have I think, all your albums and some other tracks. Loved it since I used to commute to work back in the days 20-25 years ago and hated every second of my corporate life. Hated it even more as rose in the ranks. Then I just got to the point where I could choose. Chose to build my own company. Your music was a constant. It kept me sane in the early days of being a poor peon worker drone commuting in and out of the office like a machine. Both you and Sigur Ros kept me from going out of my mind in those days so I could go on and do what I have done later. Thank you from the bottom of my heart guys. I am sure you know this. But your music really touches people and does some real good in the lives of regular folk. I guess I should at least say that on the sigur ros page as I was basically alternating between both of your music constantly then in an effort to save me from going utterly insane.

You cannot possibly understand how truly magical, miraculous and timely this drop is. Almost 20 years ago a very special person to me, one of my best friends at the time, introduced me to Royksopp. My life changed. I was introduced to most of the best music of my lifetime. Royksopp was the gateway to so much incredible electronic from Aphex Twin to Boards of Canada to Fischerspooner and the list goes on and on. That dear friend moved away to the ocean and I have not seen him since. Recently I learned that he passed after his boat took on a wave on the coast of BC, and he was unable to swim ashore. He always used to say he wanted to be remembered for music. Only just last night I was reminiscing and going through some of those old tracks and thinking of him. Waking up to see this, I am overwhelmed with the feeling that he is still having his way, influencing the world around him through music, even after he's gone. And you made that possible with this. Svein and Torbjørn, thank you for being such a huge part of my life sonically, emotionally - and thank you for this gift. I need to stop now, I am at work and I shouldn't be crying.
    Röyksopp forever.

Thank You for sharing this story.
This is what makes Music and memories so special and to Know that Your Friend will never ever be forgotten is a gift from the passages of time that eternity shines through the Heart.
I had a Friend at College named Chris while doing a Graphic Design Course and He went on to draw for the shoe people an animated kids cartoon show for the UK TV.
I learnt a few Years ago that He was out celebrating an exam result on a train station and accidentally touched a live high voltage cable on a post which resulted in a no return scenario.
They had to cut His life support system
I wish i could have been there even for one second to say Goodbye.
But I know that deep inside He is still around and smiling and wants Me to remember the good times and How His light affected my own existence.
They say Memory's are some of the most important things a Human being can experience.
I will always be grateful for the ones Chris gave Me.
Our Friends touch our souls like candles in the dark
Always guiding our path with there warmth and radiance.
I will never ever Forget You Chris.

The mystical and magical world sent this to me in gentle comfort: I live in Los Angeles and it's hard to believe what we've been through in the past week and then to find out one of this City of Angel's most sublime assets, David Lynch, shined on today, just destroyed me and we are only 16 days into 2025. This reminds me why I never ever stop listening to Royksopp forever and ever till the end of time. My endless love for their remixes or that twenty thirteen nostalgia back when I was young, it's just so easy to love these guys I can just feel it in my bones this is one impossible feat, that anyone daring to even consider listening to this will have a gentle movement in their very own vibes, your hands produce some real keyboard milk to my cookies. Seriously, this sparks my love for your music with each release and something in my heart just wants more and more of it. I'm 49 percent sure this will blow up eventually, but when we reach that point all the way into a higher place until then, let's all enjoy the drug these wonderful and masterful music artist bring to each and everyone of us, keeping all of us happy up here. Sorry for my rambling, but I keep going in circles and curves around my own music taste and land back here, like a catchy hymn in a church or when I go with the flow in my life, or even that feeling when I'm coming home from work, and day by day I keep arrive back to every little thing the soundscape brings to me. Thank you Little Big Planet 2 for showing me Vision One, and introducing me to these geniuses ever since.

It's new year today and I am alone at home because I'm not in the mood to go outside today. Been trough a lot this year, so many ups and downs that made me tired. There is so much firework noice outside. I'm a simple guy, I just picked up my earphone and just lay down, close my eyes and enjoy this and don't need anything else. Just go and let it all go. Thankyou Röyksopp for all this work after all those years and still very beautiful. ❤

In a year like this, where chaos hits like a broken beat-wars raging, minds fading, and the world losing its groove-this music drops in like a perfect chord, soothing the soul. 🎵✨ Röyksopp, always the maestros, gifting us melodies that heal and lift. 🎧💎
Let these notes flow like a bassline through the heart, easing the pain, bringing us back to the rhythm of what truly matters: the mystery, the harmony, the life that surrounds and sustains us. 🌌🎶
Stay tuned to the sound of hope, and let’s remix this world together. ❤‍🔥🎹

First time listener here. Saw the piece in Pitchfork and was drawn in by the Einstein quote and the symbolism in the art. Really, really enjoyed this. I am an older listener, probably. Long time Pink Floyd fan. Everything newer from Radiohead. And the entire BoC catalog. Took some time this evening to do some near-field listening in front of some very nice speakers and an old but ethereal Sansui amplifier. This album truly is an astral transport vehicle. And the best part of the experience is not really knowing where in the universe it is going but that being the point and the mystery, just traveling. SUPERB! Now all you need to do is release this great "analogue" work on vinyl so we can truly hear it in it's natural waveform.
