Heyyy Nursing Informatics Bestie! Lol This video came right on time. So I applied for an Informatics job within the company I’m working at now. I heard they were losing a few team members so I figured why not? I don’t have my BSN but I was encouraged to apply anyway. I’m currently in an RN-MSN program for Informatics. The plan was to wait until I have the BSN portion but I figured why not 🤷🏾♀️ Let me practice applying. Lol I’ve been networking and it definitely made a difference! ☺️

I am a Medical Assistant finishing up my Associates degree in Science. I'm wanting to pursue a career in Healthcare Informatics but unsure what degree plan to look into next for my Bachelors?
Hey Suga! That is a really good question. I like to guide people to focusing on the end result first, then work backwards. What do you see yourself doing in longterm after you get your Healthcare Informatics degree aside from working in the field? Do you see yourself in leadership, remaining as staff, specializing in a specific area of healthcare like Radiology, Population Health, Data Analytics, or etc.? Let me know and then maybe that will give you a better idea on what to get your Bachelor's in.
