    I cannot begin to thank you enough for making these videos! I haven't taken any college courses for a couple years and didn't know where to start when it came to preparing for my TEAS exam which made things even more daunting. Thankfully, I discovered your videos and with heavy prepartion and watching your videos along with my study guides every day for the past three months, I was able to pass my TEAS exam yesterday on my first try!! If anyone is reading this and you're feeling scrambled and unsure of where to start preparing, you're in the right place with these videos! Thank you so much Nurse Cheung!!

      Wow, congratulations on passing your TEAS exam on your first try! 🎉 That's an incredible achievement, especially after a break from college courses. I'm so glad to hear that the videos were a helpful part of your study routine and provided some direction in your preparation journey. It's always inspiring to hear success stories like yours. Best of luck as you move forward in your academic or professional journey - with your drive and commitment, I'm sure you're going to accomplish great things. Keep up the amazing work! 🌟📚👍🍀

    • @btsgot17
      @btsgot17 7 месяцев назад

      @@michellewalk3123 I bought the study guide that included all the practice tests as well as the study material. I believe it was the third option that included everything including a hard copy of the ATI book! It's a little pricey but I definitely think it's worth the price because the study material gets you familiar with how ATI structures their questions, it provides you with a detailed guide on the information that you know in all of the subjects, and there are pretests and section quizzes that help you gauge the areas that you need to focus on most. It helped me A TON along with these videos!

I wasn’t prepared back then, but I feel so much confident now to do a retake because so much of what she’s covering in this video WAS ON THAT EXAM! I passed proficient, but I want to take it again for a higher score. All I can say is I feel good watching these videos and going along with the purchased TEAS 7 study guide she provides as well. The portion of the exam where i scored the lowest was reading (86%) but I didn’t really study since I was fairly confident that prior knowledge was enough. Thank you SO much, Nurse Cheung, for posting these videos! Because of your videos, I was able to pass my TEAS today. I was so nervous before taking the test, but so relieved to see I scored 91%! I got 79.5 in reading, 94.1 in math, 95.5 in science, and 100 in ELU! I definitely underestimated reading, and spent the least amount of time studying for that. To anyone who's taking the TEAS soon, definitely watch these videos! They are completely accurate and incredibly helpful! God bless. ❤

      Hey, that's absolutely amazing news! 🎉 A 91% on your TEAS is a phenomenal achievement, and it sounds like you really knocked it out of the park in math, science, and ELU - and hey, 79.5 in reading is still super solid. You should be incredibly proud of yourself, especially with how nervous you were feeling before the test. It just goes to show how preparation and determination can really pay off.
      And thank you for the shoutout to the videos - it’s so rewarding to know they were a helpful part of your study plan. Your success is a huge encouragement to others prepping for the TEAS. You're absolutely right about not underestimating any section; every part is an opportunity to shine.
      Remember to take a moment to celebrate this big win - you've earned it! And God bless you too on this exciting path ahead. Keep shining! ❤️📚🌟👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

    I had 2 days to study for the TEAS test (decided I wanted to apply for the nursing program last minute!) and this video is probably the single most helpful one I watched and studied as thoroughly as I could. I also watched some of your other math and science videos. I passed with a 94% (86% in the Science section; I made a 40% on my first practice test!) having never taken an anatomy and physiology class in my life, nor microbiology. I recommend anyone in my situation watch this, the Amoeba Sister's videos on each body system and cellular processes, and take detailed notes until you're comfortable with them. I also played Delightfully Sarah's Science Review videos while doing other daily life things. Carolyn McAllister is also awesome for the Reading and English sections. I just needed to review conversions and basic formulas for math. Thank you so much!!! I'm waiting to see if I get into the nursing program.

      The science portion can definitely be overwhelming, especially with limited time to study. One tip that might help is to focus on understanding the underlying concepts rather than trying to memorize every single detail. If you can understand the basic principles and how they relate to each other, it can help you make educated guesses on questions that you might not know the exact answer to. Watching this will give you a better understanding of how your body functions with others. So to answer your question this video alone won't be enough. I do, however, agree that you should supplement your studies by taking as many practice questions as possible. Trying to learn every single detail will be difficult in such a short time. If you take practice questions and understand the rationales behind them, I believe that it would be a better use of your time with the addition of my videos to help get you there. Many students have used my videos as study guides and have passed their exams on the first try. I hope that helps 😊

    😢😢😢I got molecular biology and mostly xhemistry in science part. i wish i had ana and phys so I failed this part of the exam...so as the English language usage, lots of punctuations and dependent and idependent sentences asking which is the object dependent clause, etc

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  5 месяцев назад +1

      I’m really sorry to hear that the exam didn’t go as hoped, especially with the unexpected focus on molecular biology and chemistry. It can be particularly challenging when the test material doesn’t align with what you anticipated or felt most prepared for. Remember, it's okay to feel disappointed but don't let this experience undermine your determination or the hard work you've put in.
      For the science part, focusing more on molecular biology and chemistry for your next attempt could be beneficial. There are plenty of resources, including videos, practice questions, and explanations. Similarly, for the English Language Usage section, honing in on understanding sentence structures, punctuation, and clauses will make a significant difference. Practice identifying independent and dependent clauses, as well as different punctuation rules, through exercises and tests.
      Keep pushing forward, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need guidance or encouragement. You’ve got this!

    Retaking my test in August and I’m binging these science videos.
    I scored a 57.6% and felt terrible. I thought I would do terrible on the math portion but I actually got the best score in math and the lowest in Science.
    Soooo let’s try this again. Hoping I score high this time.

      It sounds like you've got a solid plan in place for your retake in August! Focusing on the areas where you need the most improvement, like Science, and leveraging resources like the videos, can make a big difference. Scoring well in Math on your first try is a great foundation to build on. Keep up the hard work, stay positive, and you’re likely to see your efforts pay off. You've got this!

Also what would be the best way to do practice questions for each question without having to purchase anything?

      That's fantastic that you're utilizing the videos and taking notes for your TEAS preparation! In addition to the free resources available online, I would highly recommend checking out the official ATI TEAS website. They offer a free practice test that can give you a good idea of the format and types of questions you'll encounter on the actual exam. It's a great way to assess your current knowledge and identify areas that may require more focus. Remember to review the explanations for each question to understand the reasoning behind the correct answers. Keep up the dedication and hard work, and I'm confident you'll do well on your exam! Best of luck! 🙏🏽😊

    Will this video cover everything i need to know for the teas? Also the playlist for the others

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  8 месяцев назад

      I'm thrilled to hear you're utilizing the video and playlist for your TEAS prep! These resources are crafted to give you a solid foundation and overview of the key topics for the TEAS exam. However, given the breadth of the TEAS, it's a challenge to cover absolutely everything in depth within a single video or even a playlist.
      The good news is, I have more videos in the pipeline that will dive deeper into specific areas you'll need to know for the TEAS. These upcoming videos will aim to fill in more details and provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the exam content, helping to ensure you're well-prepared across all sections.
      In the meantime, keep leveraging a variety of study materials to ensure a well-rounded preparation. The combination of these resources, along with the new, in-depth videos coming soon, will help you build confidence and readiness for your TEAS exam. Stay tuned, and best of luck with your studies! 🌟📚🎥
