    Hi Nurse Chung, love your content. Would you clarify something for me? It’s a science question on a TEAS practice test. The question is: Which part of the brain interprets sensory information? A. Cerebrum B. Hindbrain C. Cerebellum D. Medulla Oblongata. The answer key says it is A. Cerebrum. Is that right? My notes indicate cerebrum function is to coordinate and regulate muscular activity and parietal lobe processes sensory information. Thanks!

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  Год назад +8

      Hi there! I'm glad you're finding the content helpful. In the context of the question you mentioned, the correct answer is indeed A. Cerebrum. While it's true that different parts of the brain have various functions, the cerebrum plays a significant role in processing sensory information as well. The cerebrum is responsible for higher-order thinking processes, including interpreting sensory input such as touch, sight, hearing, taste, and smell. It's the largest part of the brain and is divided into different lobes, each with specific functions. Keep up the great work with your TEAS preparation! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

  • @jivingwithjae

    I feel like these questions are way easier than what is going to be on the TEAS based on what I've heard.. if it's like this, I'm good. I answered all these right. Are these accurate on difficulty? Anyone that has taken the test, maybe could answer...

    i really cannot grasp the flow of blood through the heart..

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  10 месяцев назад +3

      I totally understand how the flow of blood through the heart can be a tricky concept to grasp - it's a complex process with many steps. But I've got some good news for you! I'm actually working on a new video that will break down the entire process in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
      This upcoming video will visually guide you through each step of blood circulation within the heart, helping to clarify things like the role of different chambers, valves, and how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flow through the system. It should be a great resource for you to get a better handle on this topic.
      Keep an eye out for the video release - it might be just what you need to solidify your understanding. And remember, it's totally okay to find certain topics challenging. With a bit of patience and the right resources, you'll get the hang of it. Looking forward to helping you tackle this concept! 🌟📚❤️🔬

  • @dianakline5117
    @dianakline5117 4 месяца назад +1

    So these videos should be used as supplemental to other materials? I almost feel overwhelmed, as I have started studying an online course. Sometimes I also feel like I will never get through all the material. Any suggestions?

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  4 месяца назад +1

      It sounds like the course might not be structured in a way that's helping you focus on what you need to know for the TEAS. Using these videos as supplemental material is a great approach. They can help reinforce key concepts and fill in any gaps left by your primary study materials. If you're feeling overwhelmed, try to prioritize your study topics based on the TEAS exam content outline. Break your study sessions into manageable chunks, and make sure to incorporate plenty of practice questions to test your understanding. Don't hesitate to adjust your resources and strategies until you find a mix that works best for you. We have lives sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at 7PM EST where you have the chance to come ask your questions and learn in real time. This may be more helpful for you :)
