I know you said you don't consider yourself an expert in racing, but your explanations are so good, I would love another video with more driving tips for racing from you.
1:54 - 124.9p a litre?! Oh the good old days…
Want to start by saying these videos are very well made and you do a great job of explaining things clearly. Hope you continue to get more views and subs.
Anyways, I’m looking to buy a new 2022 miata at the moment (in USA) so these track videos are helpful as I’ve never done track days before.
Just curious, have you sat in the recaro seats? I’m sure the leather ones are fine too and very comfy. But I’m wondering if the recaro seats are worth it if I’m daily driving the car. I won’t be doing any trips around Europe like you :) hoping recaro seats will help with resale value later on as well.
Thank you 😊 I haven't tried the recaro seats, i would lkke to though.
Hehehe. Nice
Hi Richard, this might be a bit irrelevant but I've recently got an mx5 and was wondering what you used to clean the soft top?
So far I've just used ordinary car wash and a noodle sponge. I have special soft top cleaner but not needed to use it yet as I keep the soft top under a cover. I mostly hoover it.
Do racetracks provide their own cars to race too like that drift video you made?
Not really, you can hire a car for a track day but it's incredibly expensive. There are plenty of experience days where you use their cars but you're under supervision and the cost is astronomical for the number of laps you get.
Is supermarket fuel as good as Shell, Gulf, BP etc? Assuming both are regular E10 fuel.
I'm not going there. So many opinions. All I'll say is that I use the cheapest.
