Love the tone that they're showing in the trailer, kinda' like TSS but more Harley Quinn with a tap of Bird power with Huntress and Black Canary. Finger's crossed that they're still saving the best for last, but overall I am intrigued.
I can see what WB are going for but tbh it looks like reactionary again with WB saying what worked in Suicide squad another was Harley nothing wrong with that I suppose but they need to have a focus more imo
What's the point of putting black Canary,huntress and Montoya in this movie if you're not gonna properly use them,from this trailer I feel like they could replace any of this three characters with any generic DC females.
You are 100% right that the trailer isn't selling the appeal of those characters. I feel like the easiest entry point for the marketing is Harley, so that's what they're going with - hopefully the actual movie uses these characters to their full potential and fleshes them out/showcases them in a way that does them justice.
