    We just painted our house we did Neutral Ground in our dining room, Creamy for the adjacent room and the trim is high reflective white. Happy to hear a favorable review on the combo

    Thank you! i would love to see a color pallette that coordinates with Neutral Ground. We are considering painting my dad's house (interior) with Neutral Ground.

    I’ve been reading your blog posts and glad I found videos! We just moved into a new home that’s got a lot of beige/golden tones and I thought I wanted to do a warm off white (white duck, shoji white, etc) but they are reading WAY too light and almost sterile in our space. I’m considering going to the beige side of things but still want the lighter and more neutral look

    Love your videos! So helpful. Would love to see that color pallet for neutral ground! I painted the main rooms that color before discovering the color pallet videos you have on other colors. I probably would have went for one of those options instead if I had known...I really like accessible beige. But too late now lol So far I have neutral ground in the open living/dining/hall and sea salt in one bedroom, aaaannnd I'm stuck. Need another bedroom color and a bathroom color and a kitchen color and cabinet/island colors... I love creamy, so that will probably end up somewhere, but not a bedroom.

    Kylie, I have an open concept home. We have one wall of cream cabinets ( between creamy and antique white), the counter top on the cram cabinets is gray quartz. There is a large island that is espresso wood with a beautiful granite ( cream, taupes, grays). The kitchen/dr combo is accessible beige and the front room ( family room) is tony taupe. We need to paint and I want to brighten it up. I am ok with natural linen in the kitchen/dr portion, but in the front room with the large window it looks too yellow and traditional for me. Could I paint the family room a different color or is there a less yellow option for the entire area??
    Thank you!! Karen

    Needed this video two weeks ago Kylie lol!!! Just had our kitchen and living room painted Canvas Tan but were debating between Neutral Ground, Alabaster, Creamy, and Canvas Tan. Wish we would have gone with Neutral Ground 😬

      I also tried Canvas Tan but it was just a bit dark. I ended up using this color instead and it was similar but lighter. I used Alabaster in my kitchen and living room.

    Hi Kylie! We recently painted our basement using edgecomb grey based on some reading I did on your blog, and it looks great. Thanks for putting out this content! We are now considering neutral ground as “whole house” color. Would these two colors play well together in adjacent spaces? Thanks!

    Beautiful color, I'm feeling so torn between a white and wanting to go with a soft neutral tan. With all the white paint I see in homes now and I see it a lot as a realtor, I feel as if I'm dating my home back 5 yrs if I decide to go with a tan color, my buyers are asking for white interiors with clean lines, and open floor plans. So confused on going with a neutral tan , or keeping my house market ready in white (currently white( It's also south facing with low lite. I just want a paint color that feels warm and inviting when you enter the house . Other than white😢

    We just had our entire new build painted with SW Neutral Ground. ☹️ It really looks like a pale yellow which I do not like at all. I am looking for a tan color that I can use to paint over it. I’ve got it narrowed to SW Accessible Beige, SW Canvas Tan or SW Natural Tan. (Our painters only use SW paint.). I would appreciate any advice anyone might be able to offer. Thanks!!

      Oooo, I would lean into Natural Tan or Accessible Beige (which will have a bit more depth)

      @@KylieMInteriorsPaint Kylie, thank you SO very much for your reply! I think you and your videos and blogs are the best. After MUCH deliberation the two choices I had already narrowed it down to were natural tan and accessible beige- just what you suggested. I painted BIG pieces of dry wall and studied them for a couple days. Had I chosen either one of them from the get go I would have been delighted but that wasn’t to be. Every day I went to the new build I liked the neutral ground more and more. . . . It’s just so bright, cheery, airy and pretty. So,. . . . After much to do. . . . I have decided to leave the neutral ground. I think it will be beautiful with everything we’ve chosen for the rest of the house. I can’t even begin to tell you how much you have helped me!!! Thanks again. 😍❤️👍🏼

    Has anyone used this on their exterior? I am looking to update a “Tuscan” home and have a lot of terracotta pavers/roof. I can’t go whiter bc my house is surrounded by green landscape. Of course all the elements look great with gold/beige but I’m hoping for a light greige. I don’t want to look like I just painted it beige with Accesible Beige, for instance.

    • @AllyKit
      @AllyKit 3 года назад +1

      @@andreast.urbain2273 I purchased it and just painted a swatch directly on the stucco. Sadly it is not going to work for me. It turned green and clashed with the pavers. And Accessible Beige turned purple. I wish I could post a picture for you. Back to the drawing board. I have BM Manchester Tan on the interior which was a great update but my painter will only use SW and I don’t trust them to color match. Also I wanted to do something different anyway. The SW employee said the closest match to Man Tan was SW7568 Stucco but it looks yellow to me. I’m also looking at SW7565 Oyster Bar… 🤪 Currently have BM Dijon which was a huge mistake from the beginning lol I can’t wait to get rid of it but don’t want to make another huge 13 year mistake 😂

    Oh boy do I have a challenge for you. My livingroom/kitchen doesn't get a lot of natural light & there are a lot of shadows. I'm having such a difficult time finding a color. I've spent close to $300 on samples & a few gallons & still have no color picked out. Anything white or warm white looks gray or purple. Anything with gray in it looks gray or purple. Anything with yellow or orange undertones look just that. Today I tried Natural Linen. It looks rusty. I tried Natural Tan. It looks great on one wall. The rest look yellow. I'm at my wits end. Please help!

    • @KylieMInteriorsPaint

      Hi Diane! My first thought is to ask if you're SAMPLING the right way. Often when we sample, we put the samples right on the existing wall colour. This means we're COMPARING it to the existing colour and ANY colour will look shifted/skewed right next to something different from it, especially if they happen to have opposite undertones. My best advice is to get a white poster board and stick your samples RIGHT on that. BTW, have you check out Samplize? It's an affordable and EASY way to get paint samples!
