Lose the chest of drawers in the LR, and put in a floor to ceiling bookcase. And thanks for not putting a toilet right off the LR, and cupboards in the kitchen. Open shelving may be trendy, but l don't want to constantly wash greasy plates and glasses.

Pluses: Big, beautiful front porch Gorgeous fireplace with rustic mantel High ceilings Lots of windows, Entry with cupboards and shelves Primary bedroom off living room Tub in primary bathroom Full sized laundry room! Side by side washer/dryer, sink, and room to hang clothes--WIN! Minuses: No pantry No good place for TV, except to ruin the fireplace hanging it there I'd add a deck off the back, not just a step. This one is probably my favorite so far.

Gorgeous, however, I'd make this home a bit bigger and remove those patio doors from the Master Bedroom, put them back by the laundry area so you can have a huge patio out there. I'd also have the living room a bit bigger so there is an entire wall behind that couch. Other than that, I love this home.
And I'm just finding the severed entrances area great. I live in an area where I'm happy when I'm not immediately in the living room with wet clothes and shoes. However, it would be feasible to move the entrance area to the front part of the laundry room, if you want more space in the living room. But tastes are different. I think everyone changes one or the other thing in their head to adapt it to their needs.
Love this house but I would prefer the other bathroom be where the 2nd bedroom is so it is closer to guests visiting. Would love it to be larger to add an office/library/den.
The entry is great, and it could even be a foot or two shorter. The living room isn't large, and furniture arrangement would be simpler without the fireplace. The laundry room offers storage space to supplement the kitchen, though the machines might be screened by doors. On the whole, this is a very workable plan.
This is such an exquisite and elegant home - I love it!! ❤️ A lot of hard work has gone into designing this home, and everything works well together. Very pleasing to the eye 👍
