19:00 - Regarding sinkholes in Florida, many houses in Florida are concrete slab construction, meaning the house is built on a roughly 1 foot thick slab of solid reinforced concrete. So if a sinkhole does open up, provided it doesn't engulf a majority of the house, it *should* hold up long enough for homeowners to 1) recognize Bad Things are happening, and 2) bug out.
If you're on the street, best of luck you you, though.
Bro studied for this comment
Certain areas here in Florida are much more prone to sinkholes than others such as the one that opened under a resort hotel near Orlando some years back. Funny thing is my former area in Michigan has had some pretty good sized ones although not as bad as in Sinkhole Alley here. I had to laugh when we had one open downtown recently and it made the news in Ft Myers. The thing was only the size of a big beach ball. We rarely get them and when we do they aren't much to write about.
You guys always come out with the neatest ideas for videos. I love learning about things I've never seen before. Thanks for keeping us entertained Be Amazed ❤😊❤
I hope anyone reading this has a super awesome day. Cheers everyone 🎉❤
Thank you Corrie! Thank you for continuing tuning in 🙌
@@BeAmazed I’ve watched u 5 years now
You guys at Be Amazed should make a video about the assassination of the swedish prime minister Olof Palme in 1986. Investigators have tried to solve the case for 37 years. It has many tracks and people to talk about. I believe you guys can make a good video about it.
Concerning the flying balloon houses, I should add that helium isn't exactly the cheapest stuff around. Given the limited supply and resulting shortage of it, I imagine getting enough to lift a whole house would get VERY expensive real quick.
Helium costs around $30-$50 USD per liter. A latex birthday balloon about a foot in diameter holds about 15 liters of helium. So using the example in the video, it’d take around 22,500,000 liters of helium to lift the house. With that in mind, it’d take around $750,000-$1,000,000 USD to buy the helium it’d take to lift the house.
I think that first house could've inspired the house from Hello Neighbor
It was a Russian game, after all. A house like that would have been national news, like the Winchester mansion in America. When are we going to get an indy horror game for that?
Just for references right... right a
Man I love this dude I watch him all the time
Same
Gonna marry him?
thanks for tuning in!
I love all of these videos. And respect the research
The risk of these are the risk of my hoping he never loses his puns
ikr
I know right lol I love it. He is puntastic 😂💯
I feel so bad for anyone who looses their home. Whether that be from a flood or fire, loosing all of your sentimental belongings would be devestating 😢
Seeing these houses i am happy that my house isn't like in that place
Some people in the Caribbean lives very close to rivers but they build walls round there house to prevent it from being wash away by the river and the walls stand strong always protecting the houses from the river.
its incredible how u know so much stuff my chicken brain wouldnt handle it :D good content brother!
Those poor people lost everything 😔 very few people on this planet deserve something that awful, I wish the best for them in the future.
Why would you build a house directly on the edge of a river? Of course it fell in, I don't know why it would have been approved to begin with.
youre the best youtuber like seriously .
Like !
Blimey these were really fascinating! I loved hearing more about the Katskhi Pillar place, I've seen it so often and people yell photoshop when it's not, so it's good to know more about it 😊 The tribes houses at the end though were astounding 😮 Fantastic compilation as ever ❤
1st house looks like something the Adams family & The Munsters would've lived in.
Thank you for another awesome video
The first house got its inspo from Howl's Moving Castle😂
I love your videos I watch them every night to go to sleep
I’ve got to know. What ever happened to your little guy, who in the beginning would shout “ THATS AMAZING “ . I kinda miss that little shout out.
BTW nice video. I think most of you guys are absolutely remarkable with the way you narrate. Just knowing how and when to change pitch and emotion into the voice that’s amazing.
i love your videos they amaze me
I would love to feel bad for those persons who lost their house, but only an idiot builds a house so close to a water body. Common sense people 😀
Even with common sense , never underestimate nature , as I've seen a local river after nearly 4vweeks of rain , lift a house built in the early 1900s , get turned into a house boat , not fit to float in . That same storm , maged to get over the hills to the next playground , where it hit bridges , houses roads and more , with another 4 weeks of rain . All the rain made the geothermal areas more active , as their water levels rose .
It was a fun month , as the city I live in , is full of fault lines and all hills are easily pulled apart with rain , or pick axe , even easier with machines - the ñewly exposed surfaces sometimes getting concrete sparyed to try stopping erosion .
A newly opened section of the main north south road , was built over an active aquifer, near the surface , and is under constant repairs as a result of no geotechnical report .
They were close to the river because they needed running water
26:07 that was an amazing video
4:58 to watch your own home just float away because of the storm must be really heartbreaking 🤦🏻♂️🤯
Crazy ways to enjoy and relax in a very risky house but watch out so that you don't get hurt
Love this!!!❤❤❤❤
love your vids keep it up
These houses are so amazing and Buzzard also thank you for sharing this information you always make my day better when I watch your videos😊❤❤
Thank you be amazed l love your videos you really are amazing
If Uber eats service dealt with those kinds of homes, they’d be wanting to quit their job
Hey dude playmaker more vids like this I love em!!!!
0:47 *THATS THE HOUSE FROM “What Remains Of Edith Finch”!
And to think the cliff side temple built in China that houses three different beliefs - Taoism, Confuciunism and Buddhism - was built WITHOUT CAD and WITHOUT one single engineer or architect that was a college graduate, yet is still standing, pun intended, and in use centuries later. One more example of how modern technology that most of the world has become so dependent upon and addicted to, but our technology still can't compete with or live up to that. In my not so humble opinion. Closed or not, it's amazing! My Dad built houses in the early 70's. While limestone is soft and will erode because of the water table, that isn't the only cause of sink hopes, neither are old mines. When you remove anything from a space, to keep that space viable to prevent it collapsing in on itself, you must back fill or refill that space. Deep core oil wells are a prime example of that. When the well has run dry, deep core or otherwise, the empty space remains. Perhaps companies and corporations should take into account that space needs to be back filled to prevent collapse. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you empty it, you must refill it. It's really that simple a concept.

8:40-10:39: “Phoenix House”… paint it black and it can be more like “Mustafar House”.😄😄😄
Can you make a video about comparing houses around the world
The Phoenix House, if I remember correctly, I think you can only access it by helicopter arranged by the owner. Whether true or not, it’s so cool!
Only a supervillain would build there house on a cliff like that.
You Have the Best videos
I actually live a few miles away from Frying pan Tower and the owner does raffle like give away to let one lucky person stay the night! Really cool Knowing this is on the list !
Love watching these!!!
Damn i love your videos 💪
5:44 I think it depends on which river and the infrastructure in place.
18:36 I live a couple blocks from that sinkhole
I’m going to assume that no Insurance company is insuring any of these home
Thanks for the upload!
Spammer Spammer! 😂🤣😂🤣
WOW! I didn't know that houses could float!
Some of these are insane compared to my house that is between 2 rivers here in janaica
10:58 tony stark would love this
If anyone can remember this be amazed Made a video where in a part of that video he showed a house get Dunked in a river. And I'm guessing that the house that fell into the yellowstone river. Is the same exact house that we saw in that video
Sitting in my Florida home watching this video and like… didn’t expect this to be a horror video, I’m about to be earths supper 🥺
19:43 now that a rock star
i bet RCE's shoreline houses in the one tile video is really risky too because of the recent normal waves that flash floods the whole shoreline every once and a bit and the current is very fast
The first house reminds me of the movie Despicable me
13:34, mentions that it is closed due to safety concerns, a minute later mentions clumsy humans, BUT if you look for the guy at 13:34 in red, you can see him testing the durability of a pillars!
ooh new vid
Congratulations, you're the first comment!!!!
Congrats
20:17
We did it boys. We found the real life Minecraft village
Love your video Be Amazed
13:00 I've been to that place before (or maybe somewhere like it) I was so afraid it would collapse XD
Bring back AMAZING please that intro is awsome
I live near the lava house but in a safer forested area. Never understood why peeps would choose that spot inspire of the cheap price for land in Hawaii.
4:50 "yummy house" the Yellowstone river said
10:52this is something I’d build in Minecraft 😂
13:55 fun fact: Frozen actualy is playing on my tv
I'm sitting in Florda obliviously, watching this.... Why'd you have to put that thought in my head :(
I actually have a rivet that was turned into a keychain from Top of The Rock. A friend brought it back from America when he visited. Now I know the significance of it
Archtects and engineers are all crazy about this risky houses
LOL a sinkhole in the state that notoriously has no basements for exactly ONE reason is FILLED WITH WATER?! How is that possible?!
Sand tiger sharks are not man eaters. They are the ones found in aquariums and known to be docile. Its their cousin, the tiger shark, you were describing that are known to attack humans. Minus the sand. Lol.
Florida is also built on landfill Florida has a place called sinkhole alley it's nothing but landfill over-the-water they had to evacuate most of the people and the person that built that had to pay for people relocation
"God, protect this river house and all that dwell within this river house"
All of those death defying sturctures on top of rocks and next to volcanoes...
Also: Florida!
Do a video about celebrities with the darkest secrets
Atmospheric river. That's what happened in Quebec in 97.
Oh "Riskiest" thought he said "Riches" cause only rich people would do this
4:46 noah's ark
I feel Sad for TJ and Victoria, But atleast it doesn't took their lives.
I miss when it said "AMAZING" in the intro😞
19:19 now didn’t know that about Florida wow
Amazing content
Love the ending music
Mother Nature because she made that pretty satisfying Jesus like that was so satisfying I want to see that again and again and again and again
I think the Frying Pan tower is in Lake Superior but not sure
The people living here are really brave.
Why is it that merikuns nearly always sound as if they are talking through their noses ?
XD
THIS GOOD STUFF MAN

I am Floridian and I’m shaking in my boots rn 19:27
I love your videos
i agree steph i think every one can
Honestly if my house just fell and was floating away not sure what I would say but it definitely would not be a casual “oh no there goes the house”
ill call 911 immediatly
That first one somehow looks worse than the random makeshift ones in Dying Light 2.
8:51 That's Karen not Sharron lol lol
Wow first time I heard him sound jenuin when he chuckled lol
All I can say is…wow! 😮
1:00 wait a minute i'm Nikolai too

Wealthy people who think they're gods. 👍

Nice video😃
POV: Yellowstone flodding be like: "I like housenapping."
There's video of a home being washed down a river while being on fire. I mean what did someone do that pissed Mother Nature off to the point she goes not only am I going to wash your house down the river but I'm going to burn the mother flipper down while I do it.
I've been in the Pheonix house before
