Hi Shaolin, You may want to make sure the calendar you're syncing to is marked as Visible in the Android app. Here's a little article that talk more about that: support.google.com/calendar/answer/6261951?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid
Is there any way to change the frequency of syncing so that events from ical show up quicker in Google Calendar? Right now it takes about 24 hrs to show in Google Calendar
Hi Lily, Looking at the docs from Google, they say it may take up to 24 hrs for updates to come from subscribed calendars: support.google.com/calendar/answer/37100?hl=en&ref_topic=1672445 And apparently it has gone from 8 hrs, to 12 hrs, and now 24.
Hey API Nation. Are you gonna help us out here? Because a LOT of us are having the same exact problems!! New events added in ical are not syncing to Google Calendar.
Hi Barry, there is now a box when creating the URL to check that says "Make the Calendar Publicly Accessible" Ensure that box is check ed to share with google.
Amazing. Going one step further... Can you make it so that the appointments in your Apple Calendar can show as "busy" slots in your Goggle work calendar?
Adding the calendar was simple but my iCal appointments don't seem to be pulling into Google. I tried closing and reopening the calendar... no joy. Also, are there any security concerns by having an iCal made public that way?
Were you able to fix this problem? I'm having the same problem right now. I pulled multiple calendars (personal, work, etc...) into Google, but when I add events on them from my iPhone or my iMac, they are not showing up on my Google calendar. Only the events that there are from before I added the calendar to Google.
Hi Coe, I've read that the Sync now ofter takes as long as 24 hours to fire between Google and Apple. Bothe sides have put pretty large limitations on the connection
Hello, thanks for the video. Does making the iCloud calendar public mean that anyone can access the calendar, or is it only people that have been sent the link? Thanks
If I want the apple calendar to post events on my google calendar. How long will the lag time be for this ? From what I am being told google calendar will only pull twice a day with a URL calendar. Is there a work around ?
I’m a Apple calendar user, I need to sync said calendar to at least 3-4 Google Calendars so everyone knows what I’m doing at what times. But Google doesn’t Sync my new Apple Cal Posts Help?!
Hi there, Is it possible, using the steps in the video to subscribe those 4 Google Calendars to a Public Calendar from Apple Calendar? Let us know if that works for you.
@@api.nation So far, everything I've tried does not work... Sorry, I'm trying everything, even some of the included apps within google Calendars. I'll keep you posted once I find something that works.
@@api.nation Sadly I'm having the same issue. I work with two people using Apple Calendar, and only one of their "webcal" URLs used to successfully appear on our shared work Google Calendar. The other guy's would never ever appear. And suddenly as of last week, the one who's calendar was working...has suddenly stopped syncing as well. Did they change the API or something recently?
So the appointments in the apple calendar now show up in the browser Version of my google calendar, thanks. But why doesnt the Android app for google calendar show these entrys?

Is it the same thing if you go from Apple Calendar to Google Calendar? My mom and I used to have iPhones and we used the same calendar so that we could see when we both added things to the calendar. Now my mom no longer has an iPhone but a Samsung but we would like to still be able to share the same calendar. How do we do that?
This didn’t work for me. I tried copying the URL for my husbands Apple calendar to add to my Google calendar and it says the calendar is added but none of the events show
Hi @apination. I have followed your video to the point when trying to puch calendar events from my apple calendar to my google calendar. But it does not work. No data in my google calender. None. I have tried multible times.
Hi Jesper, there is now a box when creating the URL to check that says "Make the Calendar Publicly Accessible" Ensure that box is check ed to share with google.
Is it view-only or modifiable? I have a macbook and android, and would like to use the apple calendar on my mac. My icloud is full. I prefer using google calendar to the scal on my phone. I know I can "sync" so that I can view gcal events on my ical, and ical events on my gcal. But can I modify events that were made on the opposing calendar? Eg I make an event on ical, when I see it on gcal, can I modify the event? I don't remember if I made the calendar public last time when I tried to do this myself
Well done. Thank you. One question: if trying to share your multiple sources of scheduling with a partner, do you have to sync the multiple calendars into theirs? I guess it's the same as trying to get all of that to show in Google...
Hi Marcus! Yeah, you'll want to add each of those Calendars accounts to your Apple Calendar, or if you're going to opposite direction, make sure to make grab each of the Apple Calendar Public URLs and add them to your shared Google Calendar.
Hi Severine, Which sync can we help you troubleshoot? Is it connecting your Google Calendar to the Apple Calendar or vice versa? We'd love to help. Shoot me an email at support@apination.com and we can get started.
I've read that the connection can take up to 24 hours to update between the two calendars. You may want to check back now and see if the events have come over.
Oh interesting. The "Profile Guy" only seems to show up when you hover over the calendar. Here's what it looks like on my calendar: share.zight.com/z8uRPQKJ Possibly give that a shot
Hi, thanks for video. I synced Google Calendar with my Apple Calendar. It works. But we are sharing apple calendar with my wife and if i put something in my Google Clanedar, it shows in my Apple Calendar, but even we share it, my wife does not see the schedule from Google Calendar shared to my Apple Calendar. Is there a solution for that?

How to get edit access? I only have view access when I pasted and added the iCal url into Gcal.
That is for read-only though. How can I share to my google calendar and make editable?

is this safe? turn in to a public callendar?
Definitely should use some discretion. But it's only discoverable by people who have the direct link.
Hello, thanks for the video. Does making the iCloud calendar public mean that anyone can access the calendar, or is it only people that have been sent the link? Thanks
Yep, a little of both. Anyone can access the calendar BUT, they would need the link.
@@api.nation thank you!
Can I add more than 1 google calendar?
Hi Danae, Yes, we believe you can add multiple Google Calendars
If I want the apple calendar to post events on my google calendar. How long will the lag time be for this ? From what I am being told google calendar will only pull twice a day with a URL calendar. Is there a work around ?
There's not currently a work around. Yes, Google and Apple have limited the Sync to happen every 24 hours or so.
I have a goole pixel 7 Pro and when my boss sends me apple calendar invites on emails. I cant open them

Yeah, you should see similar options in your iphone when setting up a calendar

When I change a Topic in Apple Calendar it doesn't change it in Google Calendar. Do you know a solution?
It may be that it just takes a long time to update. I've heard Apple and Google have limited the Sync to only update once every 24 hours

Did you click the box, "Make the calendar publicly accessible"? It worked when I clicked the box.
Hi Kari, wanted to see if B__C's advice to "Did you click the box, "Make the calendar publicly accessible"?" worked for you?
But when I add an event to apple calendar, it takes at least half a day or a day to sync with google calendar...
Yeah, it seems it the last year, the two calendars have really slowed down their connection. Most people say it takes 24 hours to sync an event now.
Does it only work on Mac, can it work on an iPad?
This will work on both Mac and iPad.
