      They are both nearly a hundred years old, lived a full live full of unimaginable experiences, and felt a deep love and compansionship very few do. Sure death is sad, but I would celebrate her life and the amazing things they did and let it inspire you - don't let it get you down.

      @@JulieFerguson-t1cHmmh where does that come from? The Bible states clearly the dead know nothing and when we die, we go to the grave. There are no dead loved ones in heaven watching their loved ones suffering here. When Lazarus died, Jesus called him out of the grave and he resurrected from the ground. He did not drop from heaven, otherwise why would Jesus Christ call him out of the grave. When Jesus Himself died, He was placed in a borrowed tomb otherwise why would he ascend to heaven 40 days later if He was already there? People, read your Bible’s with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God is a God of 💯 TRUTH.

      Early in his cancer diagnosis, he was told that his current state is what he faced with aggressive treatment, which he ultimately chose at his wife's urging. He was ready to go years ago. Now, ironically, his wife has preceded him in death. I have a feeling that it won't be too long before he joins Nina Pratt Carter, Jim Jack Gordy, Ida Nicholson Gordy, Earl Carter, Lillian Gordy Carter, Gloria Carter Spann, Ruth Carter Stapleton, Billy Carter, Jeremy Carter, and Rosalynn Smith Carter again.

      He's next and it shows. His only real reason for holding on was his wife and only her. They grew up and old together. No one comes close to that. He looks like a dead man walking, but in his case rolling. He won't be long now, his better half is dead. They both had a long privileged life. What else is there for anyone in this life on earth. I know the truth hurts, but it is what it is and like the old saying says, Nothing and no one lasts forever, everything comes to an end eventually and so will he, I and everyone else. The only two things in life that are guaranteed are death and taxes!!! RIP. ⚰️🪦

      My mother was hospitalized after a fall in December of last year, and that was when the combination of liver disease and inoperable cancer was finally detected. She was transferred to a nursing home that same month (dementia made that necessary), only to return to the hospital in January when her condition worsened. She entered hospice care on the afternoon of January 21, and she died at midnight. And the hospice staff told us that they’ve seen patients cross over even _faster!_

I don’t think the President will make her wait too long before he joins her which is sad for those left behind but is how it should be. I’m sure they’ve missed each other in these last months that both have been so Ill.

    What a heartbreak it must have been, knowing he outlived his wife and closest supporter. But together, through sheer dedication, and through their advanced ages, they helped make this world better. Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter will forever go down as two of the most influential people in the world. Rest easy, Mrs. Carter. 😔❤️

    It is truly a wonderful story for Mr. And Mrs. Carter. Their selfless contributions to others will be long remembered. It is always sad when someone passes, even if they are in their 90's, but we can be grateful they were able to enjoy over 7 decades of love and happiness together. That is very special indeed. Rest in eternal peace.

      President Carter recognized Climate Change 50 years ago, and prepared the nation for it. Corrupt Ronald Reagan reversed everything Jimmy Carter did. Reagan gave tax breaks to the super rich, and made the poor people subsidize them. Reagan spread terror all over the world by supporting and empowering Mafia’s all over the world.

    • @jimdombrowski2435
      @jimdombrowski2435 Год назад

      Exactly, he didn’t brag about things he did (or lie about things he didn’t). He gave love and credit to others and Roslyn and Jimmy were humble human beings of strong faith who made everything they touched better than before they did. They were that standard we should hold Presidents and First Ladies to as well as others in elected office. They were humble, they were peaceful, and they were caring and concerned for others more than themselves. My god, where did virtues like the Carter’s embraced go in our political world? And more importantly, maybe we should take a hard look at our own lives, and in that regard, Jimmy and Roslyn Carter could live forever. See the good in others, make them better, and your own life will thrive! RIP Roslyn and Jimmy when he joins you, and much respect and condolences for the Carter family. These are truly examples of lives lived well, and that’s something we can all strive to mirror.
