That could be interesting. I wonder if I could find any ones that fit in items like jars or cans. Those make good sealed enclosures, especially when filled with poly fill batting for acoustics. That is how my soda cans produce so much sound for only having 10 watt drivers!
The small 5 inch woofer in the onyx can produce quite a bit of volume, but it won’t go anywhere near as low as a 10 inch subwoofer, which is what I have on my home theater system. Of course, it would be nice to compare the two. It could also be good to compare the onyx to a high quality 2.1 speaker system set, like a Logitech z623 or Harman Kardon sound stick system.
You should try making one with vifa Or peerless drivers, I have never found drivers that could compare to vifa sound wise.
