Looks amazing. I’m going to make this. Can I remove yoghurt from the recipe for lactose intolerance? If yes, what should I substitute yogurt with?
@@jimn3942 Hi Jim, you can replace it with water, same amount.
What size pan did you use?

Thanks!
Thanks for your support, Maria ♥
This bread is delicious! I liked the adding of yogurt it did just about the same thing buttermilk does when added to baking recipes. It took 4 hours from start to finish and I used my proofer and that cut an hour . I like the amount for flour used and water. Great recipe, thank you for sharing ❤️
Thanks Pat! I really appreciate your feedback ♥
The best for someone like me who just started baking own bread.
Vary detailed and precise instruction I had no problem following it. Thanks
Thank you so much 🙂
Ok this is my second time since I have this recipe but this time my son said this would make great Poboy bread. So I have four Poboy breads rising their last rise before going in the oven. What a wonderful recipe, and again thank you from Deep South Louisiana!
This sounds so good! I've never tried Poboy bread, but I'd love to try it sometime! Thanks Pat ♥

This is THE BEST bread video I have seen. Very self explanatory, no talking. You enjoy the whole process. Sounds, visually... now if it had smell 'o' vision 🤗🍞🧈. Thank you for your video.
**Do you have a great easy Sourdough starter recipe? It would be wonderful to see a video using that. Bread is never quick, it is a labor of LOVE, you dont want to rush that.💜
Thanks Linda ♥ I really enjoy the process (and the tasty results haha). I have a sourdough recipe on the channel, if you like this process you'll definitely like that one too. The steps are similar and the bread is amazing! I'll be doing more sourdough videos in the future.
Stay awesome!

Can’t wait to try this recipe!!
Watching from Georgia! It looks so easy. I’ve never made bread and I have been wanting to buy a bread machine. This looks like I can do it and not have a big machine taking up space.
It is easy, once you do it once, the second time is a breeze. Then you can experiment with other shapes, flour mixes and seeds. I have a long list of videos with everything you need, just try one and you'll never think of the bread machine again haha
Florida Thank you so much 😊
Howdy from Texas and thank you for posting this video - just a question I have, any problem if I leave the dough overnight in the fridge instead of doing the 2-hour rise and continue the rest of steps from there ?
You absolutely can, it will taste even better this way.
I was forced to do it cause it was way too late for baking, so this morning got it out of the fridge and it had risen nicely with lots of bubbles and all, lol - then I followed the rest of the steps and they came out just as the ones on your picture, including crunchy and delicious.
Its been fun making this for the first time and I'll definitely do it again - thanks again for sharing your talents !
That's so nice to hear! Thanks for coming back and letting me know, I really appreciate it when people do!

Greetings from Western PA! This bread looks incredible! I’m definitely going to try it. Do you have any suggestions if I wanted to include some whole wheat flour in your recipe?
Absolutely! My rule of thumb is to replace 1/3 of the flour with alternative, healthier flours like whole wheat, rye, spelt, even oat flour. Aside from the health benefits, you can get breads with different flavors with basically the same recipe.
The bread looks fantastic, but with 5 rises and reshapings, it is in no way shape or form a "quick" bread!!
My thoughts exactly 😢
No, not quick, but it doesn't call for five to ten minutes of kneading, which always seems to take forever to get through. (Fun note: Back in the day, some women would make and knead bread to make sure their hands and nails were nice for social events.)
how quickly is quick ? at least three hours re-shaping and re-shaping and raising and raising it does not
look quick. Thank You for
sharing. 😊it looks delicious
I didn't count 5 rises ??
Sounds like all of you who think this isn’t quick for a good end result have not baked much bread 😂
Very nice, ❤
Looks amazing 😋
Ireland
Hello from Tennessee. Will make recipe.

Thanks Paul!
Hi!! Thank you for sharing your recipe !!😋😋👋🏻👋🏻
Every time inspired by your videos ❤
Greetings from hot Texas, USA
Wonderful; cant wait to try the skill to make the same.e thank you ? Thanks city is London
looks amazing a must try.....can I use all purpose flour instead of bread flour for this recipe?
You can, my only advice would be to check the protein content in the flour. 10%+ is good, 12% is perfect.
From manila phililpines
Sounds amazing i'm going to try it 😊
Excellent. Thank you.
Amei o pão!
Thanks. 😊
Going to try it!
This looks delicious, and I will be making this. Has anyone made this with 12 grain or multi grain flour.
This is what I wanted to know. I don’t use white flour as I’ve heard and seen it’s not good for the stomach so wanted to know if spelt flour could be used instead.
Can’t wait to make this
I'm from Uk where fresh yeast is not so easy to obtain. So....dry yeast it is. But this needs activating as you point out in the comment section but not on the video. Activating needs sugar so without adding any, the bread is not going to rise. Please let people know this before starting with dry yeast. Thanks!
Amazes me that the people who posted the video didn't comment 😢or fix the video. I now wouldn't trust any of their content and
Only dry active yeast needs to be activated, 99% of the stores sell instant yeast that can be mixed directly without this step. I have replied to every person who has asked this, not sure what more I can do.
Delicious 😋
美味しそう!そして音がとても心地いいですね😊
Your brea looks so good, my mouth is watering! I'm gluten free, wish I could do this!
Greetings from South Carolina, USA

Thank you so much 🤗
Klasse Brotrezept👍🏻 😋und so fluffig und knusprig 😍
From Australia/Malaysia.
Saw your video accidentally.
Fantastic recipe! I followed the amount of water used in this recipe but the dough is too dry, so I added extra 30ml-40ml. Will different flour absorb water differently?
Did you use the oven with fan turn on?
Thank you.
Thanks, happy accidents do happen!
Yes, you're absolutely right, different types of flour can absorb water differently. Factors like protein content and the type of wheat used can affect how much water the flour absorbs. I used a flour with 12% protein, which is average for bread flour, a 13% protein flour would absorb a little more water.
So it's perfectly fine to adjust the amount of water to get the right dough consistency.
As for the oven, I used a convection oven with the fan on. If you're using a conventional oven without a fan, you might need to adjust the baking time or temperature slightly. The covered part stays the same, after you uncover the bread you might need to wait a little longer for the bread to get golden.
Thank you. 😊
From PA
Thank you, very nice bred
It looks yummy 😋 thank you for sharing, I will definitely try to bake this bread and fantastic rolls as well😊
Thanks Krystyna, have fun! ♥
