My wife dropped hers and the power button did get stuck. Using the wrong procedure (never looked for a video) got the screens off and unstuck the switch. Currently in the process of (hopefully) replaced the LCD and digitizing screen.
I was very confused for a few minutes then i realized you removed the battery and re stuck it before you put it back together. wouldn't it be easier to put the batter in first and apply adhesive to it so that when you put the screen back in it will stick? that way you don't have to try and holder it all while soldering?
I did the repair, thanks, but although everything seems to work whenever i enter 'videos' 'music' icons I get a message dialog ""swipe to the right to go back" and a dismiss button. However, the ipod does not let me dismiss!! Help plz
I just got a new iPod 7th gen he is not even 5 days old is there any way to repair it. My grandpa spend 231,99 for it so that i got a iPod that i may use during class. Edit: it got worse while my Music played trough my speaker and my iPod it self didn’t even move a milimeter
Was wondering if you could fix my iPod nano 7th gen...I have the new battery. Where can I send it
What thickness is the adhesive tape? does it have a name?
Can i use a hair dryer to heat it up?
my nano 7 has the power button stuck, will this opening method work for cleaning/unsticking the button?

AxelStrife93 Good thought, you can definitely do it that way. As long as everything aligns properly when you put it back together. Thank you
Can you replace only the glass up front?
Not sure how it's called.
Touchscreen works fine even with the broken glass, of course.
Excuse me.. In order to replace the digitizer is necessary to remove the battery?
As you can see in the video the battery is only disconnected
