- Teaching you his personal favorite, Ben Raybourn busts body jar after body jar in this Step By Step in order to make it your favorite, too. First things first, master your fakie tailstalls and your backside pivots, after that Ben says to blast that backside pivot and grab your nose just as the front wheels leave the cement then twist your shoulders and look down so you can slap that tail on the coping.

That was broken down very well, easy to understand. I think I can do this now, yet this trick always intimidated me before. It seems simple, especially if you approach it with basic grab kick turns at the top like Ben was saying...then starting to get a little air and slap that tail down, progressing it higher. This could lead to basic late grabs too. Nice.

it's a very good trick tip i just needed to learn the body positioning like the change of weight distribution in the air.

inverts, front side airs, and a sort of grind wold b nice, like a smith or fs 5-0 in the bowl oooooo or a slash grind!

its only called a lien to tail if its front-side as in fs lien to tail and backside is body jar and like backside air to disaster is a body-bag but front side is fs lien to disaster. :)

Bodyjar is the 'air - to recovery' move. Unless you do it like 8 feet out then it's a proper trick.

What is it when you bodyjar but your back trucks are over the coping. Would it just be a smooth disaster. Obviously when you slide it would be a lipslide I just thought a disaster you would stall a little more before dropping in. Thanks for the help

@@andyv85yah I guess some people call it a bodybag, but if I saw one in the wild my first instinct would be to call it a backside air to disaster, or bs air to board🤷 I dunno that's why I love pool and vert tricks call it whatever you want as long as it's cool 😎

where i live we don't have any! not even a skatepark so make do with what you have and put up a no scooters sign with a tough looking guy that has a tazer (fuck spelling) to enforce the no scooters rule.
