To the comment on AWD and vehicles, I would say first and foremost, get yourselves tires that have at least the 3-Peak rating, if not winter tires (we've been fine with 3-peak and AWD). Tires probably provide the greatest safety even in cars without AWD. We also use a RWD with weight in the back and 3-peak tires, but that was in Grand Lake, Co. It gets freezing there, and considerably more snow, but it stays so cold, you don't get the same melt and re-freeze I'd imagine you get in Cheyenne. Thanks for the video!

    Thanks for the tips!
    Though...5 to 6mo of winter/über cold is not "just a few months", my friend...that's 1/2 the year! 😆 🤣

Just moved from Denver in June. Damn, this wind…I know snow baby, but this wind is evil. 😈 Dressing in layers is where it’s at. :)

Must sell a lot of anti-freeze in Cheyenne. I've got to do a winter trip there just to see what this wind is all about.

I was born and raised in Cheyenne.
I live in central Oregon now. Cheyenne truly sucks in the winter.
