If you pull up on the lever on the side like he shows to provide slack in the cable, you can lift the rear of the seat up. Then, you can release the black barrel piece the cables go into by using a flat head screwdriver. The flat piece of metal that holds the barrel piece secure has a little tit on its bottom in the middle. If you pry out on the plastic from underneath that locks the plastic barrel to the flat metal piece, you can slide the barrel off the metal piece. Once you have it off, there is some black tape on the seat side (towards the front of the vehicle)of this barrel. Remove this tape, and look on the bottom of the barrel piece. You will see a slot with a square hole at the end. Slide the cable into this lot all the way to the square hole at the end of the slot. You will be moving the cable towards the rear of the vehicle. The square hole is there so the little metal tab connected to the cable can come out. You will need to rotate the cable coming from the rear of the vehicle some so the tab will come out the square hole in the barrel piece. Basically, there is an opening in the mating metal piece that is attached to the cable coming from the rear. Once this opening is lined up with the square hole in the barrel piece, the cables will separate. Hope this makes sense. Sorry, I don't have pictures or video. The key for me was releasing the barrel piece from the metal tab. Then, I had a lot of slack to work with and simply inspected the assembly. After inspection, it became obvious to me how to disconnect the 2 cables from each other in order to get the seat out. The fuel pump is underneath that seat, drivers side, and I needed the seat out in order replace the pump.
You demonstrate how to pull up the sort of clip on the cable interface, but you don't demonstrate how to detach the two cables from the cable interface. This video is of no value if I can't get the two cables out of the cable interface.
Mark Disney: Yes no Kidding ! All talk about blah blah "you're here bc,...blah blah but he can not explain things properly & clearly. All these wannabe You Tubers these days suck. They hear someone mage some money & for some reason they think they would be good at it. He probably never reviewed his own video. Glad I went to comments right away. Six people in two yrs say it helped them but it only gave them an idea where to look and then most of them got lucky
Thank you! This helps although haven’t finished the cable process yet
