Do it with mommy it is then😂😂, lost my mom two months ago to an overdose... Your videos definitely pulled me out of a slump, went and rewatched about 30 videos. Man I love you Dan, don't you ever change ❤
My parents freebase heroin off tin foil and i dont know what to do. Theyre also rabidly anti trump and radicalized into blind orwellian stupidity and i cant figure out what to do about that either
This bike is slow as fuck. 111hp 😂😂😂. Pan America and Sportsters S have 150 and 121hp with the same size 1250cc motor! Annnnd they have the Harley name. Scout 101 loses yet again! Hahahahaha.
@@BigsGaming I cannot recommend it enough. Would I go full Carbon R again? Probably not I’d get a sport and save 5k but I adore my bike. I rode a MT10 V4 Streetfighter and a Z900 before I got to the FTR last and I fell in love.
Nice to meet you Dan! I have the 2022 FTR Standard souped to the max & a 2023 Sport Chief with the Stage 2 perf w/the Freedom 2-1 exhaust & one of the things about Indian motorcycles that is absolutely amazing is the way they make their power. The torque on all of their different motors is available along the entire rpm range. Everything feels so premium & even with the tech options like ABS, Wheelie mitigation (turn this off lolz), and traction control you really never notice them because you always feel so in control of the machine. Both of the bikes I bought are a result of Indian listening to their customers. They fixed ALL the issues the 2019 FTR had with the 2022 model(seat height, wheel rake, tire size, cold start, throttle response) & the Sport Chief is basically just a beefy Chief with everyone's wish list of factory upgrades (dual front brembos, inverted forks, sexy & useful fairing, raised bars, perfect tire sizes, fox shox, comfy seats). So I voted for Indian with my dollars because I watched this company(Polaris) resurrect the brand & how they listen to their customers & just focus on making AMAZING bikes. The Scout 101 is basically the same treatment for their Scout, which was the original model I was going to buy before I decided to get the FTR instead since I came from a dirt bike & sport bike background. You CANNOT go wrong with any of their bikes, they are all being made with love & passion for riding. That all said, I do ride my FTR more than the Chief & as cool as the tech thingy on my Chief is, you don't really need that stuff so you can save a buck by getting the standard version & just adding the other upgrades yourself like I did with my FTR. P.S. If you live in cool state(like mine: Utah) the hand warmers are SOOOOO nice, get them, sell a kidney if you have to, but get them.
I just purchased a 25 Indian Scout Classic, and I have a few observations to add to your review. Like: #1) The start is "Single Push' starting.. so you don't need to hold the button 2) Another "hidden feature" is that the cruise control can be simply cancelled just by twisting the throttle grip backwards, past the zero position. 3) The only fully negative complaint I have on this bike is the throttle "hunting" that you also mentioned; where I think the steps in the throttle position sensor are too large and in some scenarios when you're between two of those steps, the engine throttle keeps jumping between low & high. With the cruise control on, it'll spend like 1 1/2 seconds on each just continuously cycling. 4) This one is both negative and positive, in the review depending on what type of rider you are. If you're the type of rider who predominantly pulls the handlebar to steer, you'll find this bike incredibly slow on the steering. But pushing gives an almost instant response. And this is the first bike I've ever rode that had that huge of a distinction between the two. 5) The bike also has audio over USB w/ a built in Bluetooth in the tech package, but I still have no idea where the USB port is, or how to use the Bluetooth over Sena connection.
USB port should be between the engine and radiator on the left side Its covered with a lid that probably seals the port so no water enters it, thats why you cannot see it probably
I've got the Super Scout, have ridden the 2017 scout before as well. When he says 'goddamn' with that pull, I promise it is 100% there. The part that has gotten me the most with bike is how smooth and nimble it is when you want to just cruise, but it's a demon when you get on it. Love the forward controls too.
The only bike I've seen so far that I can see keeping for many years. Everything I wanted with the scout and more. If I buy it, just need to daily it to justify the cost.
Dude! I just watched your channel for the first time and I gotta say… Get out of my head! Everything you say and do is what goes on in my head! 😂😂😂 Sub’d for that! Keep it goin!
Been watching your videos for so many years! You helped me get into bikes, and now I actually work for Indian! So so stoked to see your review on the 101. We are ALL blown away by it, glad you’re enjoying it🤘🏽

I bought one for 20.5k otd here in Texas. Love the bike. Coming off super sports bikes this ones actually not confidence inspiring above triple digits. As a cruiser it’s amazing. It will do 140+ but you will vibrate your hands to sleep 😂 Don’t expect any discounts on brand new bikes. You’re going to have to pay ALL the dealer adds to walk away with it if you want it for this season
The new scout is a fantastic bike. I am an Indian mechanic so I’m a little biased but I’m glad people agree with me. If you want to review my cammed and tuned sport chief I’ll be at the dragon oct 3-5th 🫣
I didn't even know that bikes came with two calipers until i got my yamaha dragster. It's got double calipers on front and back, and it makes a world of difference.
Ive got the FTR and the transmission is also amazing. Easiest bike to find neutral that ive ever owned, and it pulls so beautifuly. But yeah she doesnt like to go slow/low rpm, she likes throttle
This is basically the scout with all the big mods just stock. Big bore kit with two into one equal length headers and the bigger throttle body. Not bad for the price point either and you have a warranty, whereas you wouldn't if you modified. Pretty worth ngl.
My 13 year old Harley Vrod has the same 1250cc engine and has 120hp. 😂😂😂😂😂. The Scout101 is slow as fuck! And the power button down by the engine??????? Who does that!?!?!?!😅😅😅. Nobody does that 🤣🤣🤣.
Dan, Man, I've been waiting for a full riding review to come out for this bike and I cannot express how happy I am that you're the first I've seen. I really really hate the headlight fairing on this bike but if you could show us a removal and see if it looks like a regular scout front end under it that would be phenomenal. Beyond that, what are it's bad habits, because it's obvious that it's a wonderful motorcycle for cruising, shenanigans, and maybe light touring, but I wanna know everything there is to know good and bad
I agree about your convertible comment from the beginning. I can't think of a single car available as a coupe and convertible where I think the convertible looks good
11:30 Dan has that car guy squirrel brain, my wife hates that shit. And a heatwave Marlboro wrap on that Indian would be wild to match the c8. Or even a wrap to match the dually 👀
