Typical for Memphis. It just keeps getting worse. Prayers, talking to our youth, rallies. It doesn't do any good. Violent criminals will always be just that.... Thugs. You should have raised them better. My kids were raised in Parkway Village/Hickory Hill and they went to Wooddale. We were poor as a church mouse but my kids were not out in the streets after 10 at night and I always knew who they were with and where they were. We didn't even have cell phones in the late 90's. Get a hold on your kids and stop worrying about your own fulfillment.

I read an article and understand why it happened. Like someone told me, "At the end of the day, the officer wants to go home to their family alive " At least the suspect's family member acknowledged why it happened and understood the consequences of the suspects action.
