Deputies shoot, kill man while serving warrant, Shelby County Sheriff says

Deputies shot and killed a suspect while serving a “high-risk” narcotics search warrant in the Cherokee neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to Sheriff Floyd Bonner Jr.
Bonner said the shooting happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Barron Avenue after a suspect tried to drive his car into deputies.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is investigating.
