WARHAMMER 40k goes Woke | Games Workshop Bends the Knee!

Games Workshop has changed the lore of Warhammer 40k with a major retcon. Apprently we now have female custodes, and Games Workshop is claiming there has always been female custodes?
Which is strange because for the last 30 years Custodes have been refered to as male. It almost feels as if this change was made due to the large invest from BlackRock and for the upcoming Amazon TV series.
Has current day politics once again invaded a beloved franchise? Has Warhammer fallen victim to ESG money? Is the the beginning of the end for the 40k franchise?
