- Here's Part 2 of personalizing my MagShock Fold & Go Wheelchair. Last time, I shared my foot rest and stowing strap for a basket and a handbag, plus a protective handlebar cover and cane clip. This time, I finally did the armrest covers and cushion covers! Watch to see the reveal! PS. Always remember to make sure that any modifications do not harm you or your chair and watch out for warrantees!

I've been watching your great clips since I got my Fold&Go a couple of months ago. I really appreciate your information and positive upbeat style. Great job on personalizing your chair. You should sell custom made arm rest covers. Keep doing your wonderful videos.

I’m hoping mine will be here by Halloween but it could be well into November.🙁 so I won’t be going outside for several months which is honestly pretty awful to me inside my soul. But I’m praying next yr I will get relief from many things. Not my body’s issues but a bunch of other things. But you did a really amazing beautiful job and I hope my son will help me adjust mine when it arrives. Different model but fairly similar . Hope you have a wonderful week. Mines filled with appts and drs and such 3:5 days and I’m in so much pain broke my toe and so tired I could sleep for days at this point.

I’m loving all the info you are sharing, and the way you are personalizing your chair! It’s looking so beautiful, and giving me some great ideas. 😊 Do you notice any difference with how hot your back/body gets when you sit in the chair for awhile, with the leather vs. the original cloth covering? I’m concerned the leather wouldn’t be as breathable and would make my back/body sweaty if I was in the chair for awhile, but I love the way the leather looks! I’m really enjoying all your chair videos, and getting to see this chair in real life action! You look like you’re having so much fun! 😍
Are you still happy with your fold and go chir, I like the customization you have done with the chair. I have customized my husbands regular wc, but now we are looking at the fold and go. this video helped. Would you still buy the Fold and Go?
How did you make your foot rest sling strap. That would work well for me. I'm definitely considering the Maga Shock chair. I think the slingfoot rest idea would work on my manual chair too. Thanks for such a great idea!

@@nameless1763 Good. RED. My son had a personal license plate made for it. I plan on visiting parks. Do not use inside. I have alphabet stamps and super permanent ink and have my handle on frame. And a matching red leather backpack to hang on back. My biggest challenge is putting into a vehicle. It is better than than a scooter which is too close to ground. I tried a scooter is bad for posture. Have fun.

And yeah these definitely seem better for posture than scooters!! so glad you are getting some good use out of it!! bummer about the car... i know it would be too heavy for me to lift into a car too. I use public transit currently and switching to paratransit soon. glad to hear you like it, the red leather backpack on the red wheelchair must look stellar!!

Thank you! I was thinking to perhaps call the chair "Pearl" because that is the name of the color it's painted. I think my mom may have already named a previous car that name, though!

Unfortunately no power chair yet. The service called and said my other one is ready though. Thursday I pick up my custom manual chair. Better than nothing. Coincidentally Thursday is my 58th birthday 🤣😂🤣. I live in Sweden and medical is payed for in our taxes so the chairs are “free”. In a way it is like the Swedish state issuing me a wheelchair for my old lady birthday 🤣 There had better be a bow😉
@@karinbaird2499 Oh my goodness, I hope they get you both of your chairs on your birthday with bows and fanfare! Happy birthday to you! That's wonderful that Sweden provides its people with mobility aids when they are needed, well, or with a slight delay, too. 🤣What kind of manual chair are you getting?

I’m getting a Panthera active chair. Both Permobil and Panthera are Swedish brands. The Panthera is new but the Permobil is quite old. It is a tank and what I requested to I can go hiking😄 I’ll ask on Thursday when I go get the manual chair when the powerchair will be ready.
Then time for customization 😄
@@karinbaird2499 I had no idea Permobil was a Swedish brand and they are well known, indeed. Your power chair is definitely going to get you out, lol, it's a tank! It'll be very nice to have both the manual and power chairs for different needs- smart choice!
