- I'm starting to personalize my MagShock Fold & Go Wheelchair. In this first part, I share my foot rest and add a strap (or two!) for stowing a basket and a handbag, plus I place a protective handlebar cover on the top along with a cane clip. Next time, I plan to cover the cushions and armrests! PS. Always remember to make sure that any modifications do not harm you or your chair and to watch out for warrantees!

I'm so glad the fashion stuff has been helpful. For me, that was a big change, especially making sure my flowy clothes stayed clear of the tires! Waist ties have actually come undone and fell into my tires before and that was no fun! Well, happy wheeling and thanks so much for your comments!

Unfortunately only the ramp was in the delivery van. Hopefully the wheels will arrive on Monday. It is a Permobil C500. I haven’t been able to leave my house by myself since June when my chronic illness flared up again. I’ve been looking into seated comfortable fashion as I start back to work as soon as I am mobile again and want to look and feel attractive in my wheelchair. I’ve combed RUclips and your fashion advice is the most inspiring and practical.

Alia, I have removed my footrest also and would love to make or have one like yours!! Is it leather? Did you make it?
I just received the exact same chair and think it’s great. My biggest issue is getting it in the car. I’ve watched the company’s videos several times. How do you manage?
There are some videos on the FnG website that shows several ways people get theirs into the car.
