  • Wondering if it's worth it to tune your Indian Scout or Indian Scout Bobber? There are a lot more benefits than just a power boost. I go over all the changes I noticed after tuning my bike to help you decide if tuning your bike is right for you as I descend from an awesome ride up to 14,000 feet on Pikes Peak.

    2 years? where is everybody? I have RCx mufflers and just got the S&S filter. The PV4 is on the way. Im optimistic.

    I did the S&S intake and the pv3/fuel fuelmoto map at like 1500 miles and I haven't regretted it for a second! I whole heartedly agree on the smoother throttle and more power on the low end, it really took the bike from awesome to amazing!

      I'm so bad at cleaning lol. I've washed it a total of 3 times I think and owned it 11 months haha. I do really like these jacket and helmet wall hangers though!

    What levers do you have? Seems like you shift really quick and don’t have to squeeze much!

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 года назад

      They are made by LSL in the Netherlands! Model is Ergonia and they are two way adjustable. Here's an install I did on a friend's bike with his own set of them. Link to their huge selection of lever options is in the description.

    Assuming you love it and thats great but i cant handle the sound of your engine braking, never heard another scout do it including mine with slashcuts. Must be a 2-1 thing? Might watch again later when im not using earphones

      I do love it and I've never heard another exhaust that makes that sound. I do have a friend with a Trask 2-1 and he says it makes a similar sound as well

    How hard was the Torque Box to install ?
    Also, do I need to tune it after that and the GP tip change ? Thanks

    • @Jimbobbington
      @Jimbobbington  2 года назад

      If you install the GP Shortys alone, no tune is needed. With an intake, you definitely need a tune. Installing the intake can be kinda a pain in the ass the first time because the stock intake is kinda molded to the frame and you have to remove part of the frame to get it out.
