Hello S Darby, my wife and I are planning to get a dog early next year. Perhaps a Papillon as well. I like this breed very much, it looks awesome! Dear greetings from Germany - Peter
She was so dainty and so well behaved. I've had 3, my first so similar, that I got very nostalgic. I wish the IG had been able to walk a bit longer the final time. Her previous walk was superb. But my bet was on that Papillon! Stunning, well deserved. Happy for all of them. I don't usually watch these, but really enjoyed. :)
I really wish the Yorkie had won! I'm very bias though, it's my favourite breed :D I was lucky enough to be in the crowd for the judging and the little cutie was definitely the crowd favourite with the most cheers. Disappointed, but beautiful little Papillon too! Delighted for the owner :)
The Papillion was a worth winner, so pretty and elegant.. But that poor Pekingese! How can it even breathe under so much hair, the poor thing looks like it's roasting :O though maybe they know something I don't? Idkj much about the breed itself
Ummm... the woman tv commentator keeps calling these dogs "pocket rockets". Now... excuse me, but I thought "pocket rockets" were a type of very tiny portable battery operated vibrators. Does she know that?
I literally thought "what is a ball of fur walking over there?" when the Pekignese came over... They say everyone has different tastes but poor dog that doesn't seem right..
Love the little black Pomeranian. My Mimi was mostly black, with a white spot on her chest, such a beautiful and sweet little lady she was. She passed away in 2018, and I still miss her so much. RIP my little lady.
Ashamed again that after all the controversy years ago about the Pekingese standard that Judges , the Kennel Club and Crufts are allowing these overcoated, panting poorly moving examples of the breed are allowed to be even be shown. The breeders should be ashamed how they have changed a fit, free breathing , free moving proud little dog from the 1960's into the travesty shown in the ring at Crufts. Time for Pekingese owners across the UK/ world to speak up and take action alongside welfare organisations
i agree. i hate it when we breed animals to a point where they have a problem swimming, eating too fast , giving birth on its own and worst of all.... being able to breathe. just awful.
the empress is probably turning in her grave looking at what they've done to her beloved breed. it's struggling to enjoy life as a dog now with their over-pronounced features. shame.
I'm not a fan of small breeds but I would consider to own 2 of those shown: the Italian Greyhound (who doesn't fit into the toy category for me.. I love all kinds of sighthounds) and the Papillon (who I always liked even though they're so small)
you don't know what you're missing with small breeds! i may be biased, but they have so much fun, lovable personality. I love many (though not the yappy, protective type... that's where smaller dogs get their bad name).
I used to be like that until I got a small dog. My Papillion is the most adorable, lovable dog. Everyone falls in love with her, including her vet! She is also one of the smartest dogs I've ever known. Papillions are the only toy dog on the top 10 list of most intelligent dogs. Before her, I had a beautiful black lab who lived to the age of 15. She will always have my heart too. Dogs are just such wonderful animals and we are fortunate to have them in our lives!
Surprisingly, Papillions do extremely well in competition obedience work. Most are pets, of course, but this breed dominates among the midget dogs in serious obedience work.
Quick question, why is the Chihuahua given one entry for short-haired and one entry for long-haired while the Chinese Crested only gets one? I get that a lot of breeds have different coat variations, but I don't see why the Chinese Crested isn't given the same privilege. It seems to me that the difference between a powderpuff and a regular CC is way bigger than, for instance, the long vs short-haired Chihuahua?
UnVertigo It's because the short coat and long coat chihuahuas have always been classed as different breeds. The Chinese crested and powder puff are not.
The chihuahua look a little overweight my grandmother has chihuahua one is kinda like the short-haired shown and she Rosen’s walk like that chihuahuas legs shouldn’t be that separated but I guess they are🤷🏻♀️idk tho (my grandmothers dogs are pure before y’all come at me)it just seemed weird to me
Those are good breeders and good quality dogs future parents with healthy and good quality puppies ... Puppies only with papers(pedigree) OR shelter (rescue) ...
Puppies only from shelters or from ethical breeders,There are breeders who have pedigree dogs but they abuse their dogs, meaning having a lot of them and of course in enclosures, and forcing their females to breed every six months. Is not possible to have 30 dogs and make they happy going every day to run and play to the woods or the park.Is very important to know where buying a dog.
Yorkies are great rodent catchers, and Silkies are sheep herders. They're not lap or just companion dogs! I don't agree with putting them in the "toy" group.
Every year, in the US, 5 million dogs are put to death for lack of good homes. Meanwhile, 5 million more puppies are born. Let's home the wonderful dogs already and waiting for a friend....PLEASE, DON't BREED!
Well, aren't you a dummy? There are now 200 breeds of purebred dogs and once a person determines exactly what he wants, that is exactly what he can get from a purebred dog from a quality breeder who will certainly health-test his stock to eliminate genetic health problems. Please don't embarrass yourself with these uninformed posts in the future.
I have a Papillon. They are so incredibly cute that it is really hard to take. You get the cutes every day when you have one.
Hello S Darby,
my wife and I are planning to get a dog early next year. Perhaps a Papillon as well. I like this breed very much, it looks awesome!
Dear greetings from Germany
- Peter
Love them all, especially the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Pomeranian.
Papillons are so smart! And its performance was flawless
The Papillon a worthy winner. The Long Coat Chihuahua was also a stunning dog
Woo hoo for the Papillon! I have two paps and they are the best dogs I've ever owned. Love them.
I know!! Paps are the BEST! I am so happy to be the proud owner of one myself.
I’m on my third! Best breed for small dogs!
I knew the Papillon would win! 😘
The owner of the Papillon is so cute
Agreed!!!!! And the Papillon is adorable!!
You can tell which dogs aren’t abused/over worked, they usually seem happier and more excited.
I have a Papillon - I admire their Intelligence - many are smarter than their owners
Brings out dog that has an eternal frowning jowled face
“The lovely smiling face of the King Charles spaniel”
My favorite pocket pet breeds:
Chihuahua 1:01 10:34 34:08, 35:08
Papillon 3:00 26:17 34:20 36:08 37:44 38:45 cameo 40:48 last walkies 1st place
Pomeranian 3:26 28:56 34:24 36:28 38:26 4th place
Yorkshire Terrier 4:26 31:26 34:28 36:59
The Chihuahuas were adorable
I love the Cavalier, awesome type and totally sound moving :)
I was hoping the papillon would win! Lovely breed!
The Yorkie was outstanding.
Too much cuteness... 😍 I wouldn't want to be the judge...
It's so cute watching a chihuahua so very calm and quiet rather than being a crackheads sometime......
That little bolognese is so sweet!
That Italian greyhound is lovely

Congrats for papillon my favorite breed!
I died when that pikenese came out. How do you judge that? Like ”what a nice cloud”
Cavalier king.......the best!,❤️❤️❤️
The Papillion was a worth winner, so pretty and elegant.. But that poor Pekingese! How can it even breathe under so much hair, the poor thing looks like it's roasting :O though maybe they know something I don't? Idkj much about the breed itself

I thought the same thing LOL
Thank God I'm not alone!!
Chinese crested and Italian greyhound is beautiful breeds
Fine judging. Excellent choices for this class compared to the other classes. 👍
That griffon terrier was so cute when he kept trying to lick the judge!😂😍
I literally thought "what is a ball of fur walking over there?" when the Pekignese came over... They say everyone has different tastes but poor dog that doesn't seem right..
Yeah. Cute face but too much fur to carry for a little doggy.
i think the pekingnese dog earlier make really great show. but likewise jury have different taste. but i can see the winner is absolutly amazing
@@Salodanger75 his fur is just teased, though.
I mean that seems so uncomfortable how do you know when things need checked ...or something is wrong....
The Bolognese looks like a Bichon Frise having a bad hair day. They are both adorable.
Love the little black Pomeranian. My Mimi was mostly black, with a white spot on her chest, such a beautiful and sweet little lady she was. She passed away in 2018, and I still miss her so much. RIP my little lady.
I have three Papillons. SUCH lovely dogs. So kind and so friendly.
Papillon Winner - light on her feet, and the shower, light on his words.
Papillon my fav 🥰

Garethe El Tawab looks like a huge fur ball. Not good at all
the empress is probably turning in her grave looking at what they've done to her beloved breed. it's struggling to enjoy life as a dog now with their over-pronounced features. shame.
@Rich KF look at the original photos of pekingese taken from the forbidden city - those are the REAL pekingese. their features are so exaggerated now
Well said..but as long as the breeders are greedy dog haters nothing will be done just as with the German Shepherd,English Bulldog to mention a few.
There all stunning 😍
All but two of these handler’s pulled up way too tight those dogs were so strung up
I'm not a fan of small breeds but I would consider to own 2 of those shown: the Italian Greyhound (who doesn't fit into the toy category for me.. I love all kinds of sighthounds) and the Papillon (who I always liked even though they're so small)

@@mygirldarby In second place of that list, after the border collies, there are poodles(of any size)
I agree with comment below---about Pekingese, the old style were great little dogs; I had several.
I swear I gotta enter my short haired chiuahua we can go places ! Lol
Why weren't all the terrier breeds in the terrier group?
Gorgeous Papillon
Pomeranians are the best I just love them
My favourite’s
Long-coat chihuahua
Smooth-coat chihuahua
Cavalier King Charles spaniel
Italian greyhound
I also love the Chihuahuas
There all nice 👍
Surprisingly, Papillions do extremely well in competition obedience work. Most are pets, of course, but this breed dominates among the midget dogs in serious obedience work.

She is a better Judge than " Mike" at least not 3 poodles
Why was there no shih tzu , Lhasa apso or even the miniature poodle????
Because they're all in non-sporting class!
those breeds are in the Utility Group.
I have a papillon puppy how is four months right now. Btw anyone watching in 2020?

Toy group judging.

they also didnt show off all the breeds anyhow.
I love pekinees

"healthy" ..... Really?! Look at that poor suffocated pekinese! You think he's feeling okay??!! Come on , your not stupid are you
*THE PEKINESE* 😂😂😂😂😂😂 i can’ttttt
As the pekinese is bred is pure animal abuse
He's constantly suffocated by his purposefully much too short-bred snout
Oooo
The Pom should have won
Of course the Papillon won.
Yorkies are great rodent catchers, and Silkies are sheep herders. They're not lap or just companion dogs! I don't agree with putting them in the "toy" group.
The cavalier didn’t make the cut because that idiot handler let him/her sit!

this is so ridiculous and stupid
No. You are simply uninformed and narrowminded.
Boring
