Thank you for posting these. I love watching them make their rounds. I'm torn between Ch Shiroblam Rumba the Basset Fauve and Greyhayne Hooray Henry the Dachsund--both have a lot of character.
I love dogs but I really love hounds. I've had dachshunds my whole life but now I have a 1yo Irish wolfhound who is the sweetest girl ☺ it really is a special breed. They all are ❤
@@Spyrika I got her a little late (12 weeks) and think I lucked out with the wolf with the absolute best disposition ever. Easy to train and walk. Friendly. Just working on separation anxiety and fear of wind chimes :) it's going well!
I've owned dachshunds my whole life, both standard and miniature! They're absolutely adorable and they have the best personalities! They're equally willing to go run all day as they are to snuggle up and snooze all day
Again the Sloughi gets overlooked.....I'm probably being biased as I have a rescued one, but that example looked amazing. I love whippets but they seem to get all the attention. I can't help but think the judge selected it for popularity. I thought greyhound was the best in all honesty......
It's because when a Whippet wins its the best of 400+ dogs, when a Sloughi wins it might be out of 30 dogs. So to beat out over 400 other dogs means you're going to have to be a very special animal.
Tara is a Belgian, Dutch, International champion and has won top Sloughi again this year, she is a fabulous girl and has done lots of winning. However being in a rare breed means people arent too familiar with the breeds and you often get overlooked.
I think exactly like you...unfortunately that greyhound lost her life but she was so beautiful and special Ginger after crufts she arrived 3 best in show at the European
I'm so glad they're emphasizing workability aside from over breeding and exaggerating. I've always owned dachshunds and I always lucked out by lifting them properly, avoiding jumping etc. but many can have such terrible back problems :(. No one can tell the difference between a 15 inch dachshund and an 18 inch one so I don't see the point if it's going to hurt the dog.
I find it interesting that judges absolutely ignore the Afghan Hound when it comes to group placing. The breeders have turned them into prancing balls of hair and have forgotten they are hunting dogs whose agility is unmatched amongst sight hounds.
Omg I want hall for me I love dogs,I have doxie,schnauzer and rat terrier they are my best friend I wish have more dogs,maybe one day with a winner in the lottery I will by a huge farm and, get all dogs in this world♥️♥️♥️♥️💋💋💋

There are actually nine types of Dachshunds but the really tiny 'rabbit' size isn't seen in the UK I don't think/

Bassets are the best, had both basset and beagle, both were FANTASTIC
