Yes, I'm only familiar with the smooth coats and the long haired. This dog had such an air about him.

It has a slight gait abnormality in the front right elbow. It should absolutely not have won.
Wolfhounds are unfortunetely prone to bursitis.

Should have definitely been at least #2, was a lovely dog. Of course, I'm a Beagle Mom, so I am biased too.
Although my dog's only half Beagle (half Springer Spaniel) I felt the same lol her face looks more like a Beagle. When people ask us and we tell them what mix she is, they usually say how much she looks like a Beagle more than Springer
@@carolinesconcertvids860 In terms of genetics, Beagles seem to be rather dominant, even if a dog is only quarter Beagle, their features are dominant in a dog. Big fan of the breed, I've had 3 rescue beagles over the years. In the USA, one will find lots of rescue beagles. While many love their sweet faces, they need to have families that realize they got a dog with a nose, so they are expert escape artists. They need very good fences, to keep them in.
Sounds like a great cross breed with the Springer Spaniel, they are a lovely breed as well. Would be a good outdoor as well as a farm animal. My first hound cross breed was a Basset Hound/German Shepherd mix. Kind of a funny looking dog with a long body, ears more the size of a beagle, with stubby Basset legs, with a voice and an attitude of a GS.
Mostly dog for show is living only for the show and mostly their owner is a Breeder. They put their dog on the show so they can get the title, their Kennel Club becomes more famous and the puppies will sold with a high cost. Unlike other competition like agility or flyball or dancing, the dog experienced nothing valuable nor they will be happy when they're won. So as also a Beagle owner, i only wish the ones on the show is living a happy life like mine - who always walked twice or thrice times a day, playing and running off the leash with their friends, hike or camp or picnic almost every weekend, sleeping and cuddling with me on my bed every nights. He's such a handsome good boy, he deserves to smell the world.
The Whippet was absolutely stunning, and so was the Afghan.

We have a greyhound whippet mix and a whippet staffy mix. Have had greyhound whippet mixes previously, and a whippet deerhound mix. Such beautiful dogs 💕

@@RipperForLyfe I imagine that dog judging, like anything else, has its own jargon. I do wish, though, that people wouldn't use outlandish terms without explaining them. It really isn't at all helpful.
How can greyhounds be on the vulnerable breed?
They don't count to real numbers but the kennel club litters.
Wow European whippets are a lot different than American
They do look different smaller and not as heavy boned even the males.
Would never get a dog in a pandemic just for company might get sick and unable to care for the dog properly, and they often end up abandoned once there function is not needed anymore.
