This announcer is excellent, he explains details of each breed. Just hope the next coverage of Westminster can find announcer that is well informed and can share knowledge with viewers instead of listening to irrelevant babbling.
sorry to reply, but if you keep a dachshund fit and muscled you have no problem. But fat overweight ones may do. I have had many dachshunds over the years and not one has EVER had a back problem. Own boarding kennels, the back problems we have seen are mostly in cocker spaniels Incidentally the BOB in smooths is a daughter of my gorgeous stud dog Roo
I have six dachshunds and I agree you have to keep them fit. They don't have that many health issues when they are in shape. Plus I have never had such a huge personality in a dog before. They have such a sense of humor.
I love the Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen but, that breed is so hard to find here. I'm still looking for a great breeder without having to look outside the country here in Canada.
Talk about a hard job. Choosing between different breeds. I love my dachshunds, but there were just so many beautiful dogs there. I little tough when they are all champions.
I feel the exact same watching, we have two beagles! They would be delighted to be in there, saying hello to every dog and paying absolutely no attention to any command!
Our mutt my family owns has hound written all over him lol. He'll actually bay at times when I sing when doing chores lol. I got it on video once haha. But he has a loud bark unfortunately and it hurts my ears, so I don't know if I'll get a hound for myself when I move on my own. I do like the Basenji and Saluki though.
I don't know if you'll see this. My sister in law was given this beautiful basenji. Unfortunately there was something very odd about it. I don't know if it was just that one, but completely uncontrollable. She even has a friend that trains. It was a very, very pretty dog that no one could touch.
Where are the bluetick the redbone the walker the Black and Tan or the plott hound. And I’m sure I didn’t even name all the other American hounds but those are the most widely known. And why do they need 6 different classifications for a dashound there all still just dashounds
The Black and Tan Coonhound did get recognized by Crufts in 2019, but only as an AV import. They also had to separate the dachshunds because they are too confusing breeds.
I'm just here for the Doxies.......

I love to watch the Dachshunds' little legs move. It's adorable, even if I'm not a huge fan of the breed.
I prefer to see dogs with normal legs, Dachshunds give the orthopaedic vets a lot of business doing spinal surgery.
I definitely agree. It's just funny to see them waddle.

My wonderful black n tan miniature dachshund Cowboy loved watching your video. Thank You!
The borzoi is breathtaking!🤩
some of the handlers are just awful with those leashes
I love the beagles. Our beagle is not nearly that well behaved.
I think a well behaved beagle is definitely the exception, not the rule :P

Basset hound wins
I love the hound dog group
Wish my Sloughi was as well behaved as that.
The Hamilton is sleeepy
dachshunds never win in big dog shows. So sad, they are my favorite dog.
they are the biggest dogs in a little body....
Dachshund are like midgets of dog world

OH MY GOD! Look at all the amateur owner-handlers! I would kick ASS in this competition. Are there no professional handlers in Britain?!
Wish my Sloughi was as well behaved as that.
