I think we should appreciate all of these breeds as being beautiful and wonderful companions for different kind of people rather than debate over which dog is the best based on the pet you have.
We travelled all the way from Australia to go to Crufts and it was fantastic. Will do it again one day. We attended for 2 days and watched many events in the arena and some judging. It is great just to walk around and see all the different breeds and talk to owners/breeders. Do it !!
Enjoyed watching Utility Group very much💕 I also enjoyed listening to your great announcer who is so knowledgeable about all the breeds 💕 & lady that's with💕🐶 Judy from Richmond, Va
Akita inu doesn't mean large dog. They were bred in Akita prefecture in Japan, hence the name. Same for Shiba inu. Yes "inu" means dog, but the Akita and Shiba stand for the names of the places where these dogs come from. It doesn't mean large or small. Please don't make stuff up.
Tsarizza Shiba Inu can mean either brushwood dog or small dog in Japanese. There is a Shiba district, but they did not originate from there. So most commentators will call the breed one or the other. Us Shiba owners are okay with either.
WHY do you put the picture of the winner on the you tube some of us would like to see and pick our own choices without knowing the winner in advance, put us off watching any more, very disappointing.
So much hate for poodles here in the comments, damn 🙄 also, can someone explain why some of these are classed as utility dogs and not toy breeds? For example the Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu, and the little black one that looks like a Pomeranian? How do they figure out which group these breeds go into?
cat-kins4820 - Yeah, it’s crazy how the UK Kennel Club classifies some breeds. I agree with you that the Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu and Pomeranian should be in the Toy Group.
The "poodle" ( original name in french is "caniche", from "canard" meaning "duck") is a hunting dog, a retriever water dog. Should be logically in the so-called "gundog" category. If there was some logic in these shows
feuriger Stern they were used in the war to carry things to the troops in the trenches like rations, cigarettes etc 🙌🏼❤️ I have one, absolutely amazing breed! They have the biggest characters, more like babies than dogs though 🤣
Gorgeous dogs, nice to hear the over exaggerations of various breeds are being recognized as not needed and being bred out. I've got a gorgeous black toy poodle puppy thats registered so she will definitely be competing in dog sports someday 🖤🐩✨
All you cretins insulting and complaining about poodles just shows you've never owned one. Truly the best dogs out there and a real privilege to own one. You will never know love like poodle love.
isabritpop or maybe because they win the utility group WAY too much. I don’t hate or have a problem with poodles ( I’ve never even owned one), but they are a bit overrated in this competition in my opinion.
My beautiful standard poodle was so intelligent and loving, I still miss him after 20 years. He was pedigree but never shown but he did enjoy obedience classes.
Garry Mcneece the Akita is, in effect the American Akita. The original is still around and called the Japanese Akita. This year’s best of breed winning Japanese Akita is now famous for depositing a little gift in the show ring.
Ajax Buchann i have poodle. I go for show dog. I know how its look like. Not every country do this. But most Yes. And In crufts they do it also. I have show dogs with show hairstyle and i know how Is looking poodle with and without hairspray.
Sarah Anderson Ofen I’m the one person who don’t use hair spray in show dog. And I know how look without. Check Sweden show. They also don’t use. Becouse they are punish.
millie georgía - I mean, a dachshund beat the poodle in ‘best in show’ on Sunday, and a pug won a few years ago, people will find any reason to complain! Poodles really hardly ever win🤦🏻♀️
maybe people should start breeding better quality dogs , not just handing it to another breed as "poodles win all the time" or "its always the pretty dogs what win" .....i personally wouldn't like to win if i knew it was just because the top breed winner pulled out so another dog could 'have a chance' and not because i had the best example of the breed, thats not what shows are for and thats not fair on the whole breed ... the is the whole point of dog shows to produce the best example of the breed... if your dogs not placing, your dogs the problem not the judge imo....
Poodle breeders overall have been doing a great job producing quality dogs that meet their standard so it’s no surprise they may do well, but if you knew anything about dog shows, you’d know it would make no sense to put them “in their own category” and poodles don’t win any more than some other breeds in dog shows. These large shows aren’t the only shows that happen in a year.
I love like the lady is crying and Frankie is like Mum, why cries? I wins.
Frankie just *knows* he's a winner, and is just as excited to get the prize as his person! It's extremely cute.
The miniature black Poodle is superb...The xolo has a nice and elegance movement!👍💖
Always rooting for the Keeshond!! 😄😄
I think we should appreciate all of these breeds as being beautiful and wonderful companions for different kind of people rather than debate over which dog is the best based on the pet you have.
Congratulations Frankie!
I love them all. They are all so beautiful. Especially the poodles and the shih tzu.
Looking forward to being there one day!
Me too hahah
I'll see ya there!

Best of luck guys! 🥳🥳🥳 I am more of a cat person, but LOVE to see Crufts 😻
Beautiful poodle winner. Lovely dog.

*Akita* *poops*
*Silence*...........
*Commentator* there's an elegance to them
😂
You gotta go, when you gotta go lol!
that's so embarassing! not sure if points are deducted?

Love xolos so much .what a stunning dog
Please stop putting the winner in the thumbnail!! Ruined the surprise 😤
Congratulations Frankie 💕 well deserved!
WHY do you put the picture of the winner on the you tube some of us would like to see and pick our own choices without knowing the winner in advance, put us off watching any more, very disappointing.
Frankie - Born to be a showman :-)

The UK breed groups are not the same as FCI -breed groups, AFAIK.
cat-kins4820 - Yeah, it’s crazy how the UK Kennel Club classifies some breeds. I agree with you that the Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu and Pomeranian should be in the Toy Group.

darlenevm Pomeranian is in the toy group.
Jenny J - Whoops! You’re right.
What type of utility does a French Bulldog do other than looking cute?
Bred as companion dogs

@@pinkydibs that is wrong.
Прекрасное шоу, одно удовольствие смотреть!

I think their faces are particularly beautiful and show their intelligence.
isabritpop or maybe because they win the utility group WAY too much.

So true!
I've had 2 poodles and they are great, but so are many of the other dogs. I think people just want another breed to have the spotlight for once.
Interesting group Glad to see a Dalmatian, even if he kept a low profile.
The Boston Terrier, very handsome and super cute!! ❤️❤️
Love the poodles!
Standard or Miniature Schnauzer for me, both outstanding close up.
The miniature schnauzer is the best dog.
True that
Finally found the Miniture Schnauzer. Massively overlooked again
If I had to pick one of looks it would be the Japanese Akita inu (it was pretty )♡
akita is a American crossbreed. the true akita is a spitz type and weigh 80/.90 lbs.
Garry Mcneece the Akita is, in effect the American Akita. The original is still around and called the Japanese Akita. This year’s best of breed winning Japanese Akita is now famous for depositing a little gift in the show ring.
Frenchies are the BEST breed I’ve ever had, absolutely hilarious, sooo loving and just the best companions! I love my boy to pieces ❤️
Where is the English bulldog in this one 🥲
Did you not listen at the beginning?
Did you not listen at the beginning?
The English Bulldog and another, the Pekenese, are unable to walk throu the whole ring 🤫. Poor dogs !
Where can i order one of each? lol
surprised that crufts lumped toy poodle with the utility group. technically it's a toy and is grouped as such in the us
Technically it is not a toy. Toy dogs are not bred for a real purpose other than being a toy dog.
Xolo!
Team Shih Tzu 😙😍😊
I wish the Frenchie would have shown at least a bit of a tail. Otherwise a great dog!
they are bred with out tails... same as Boston's
@@amylloyd-personal6824 Tail docking is illegal.
@@amylloyd-personal6824 they have a short tail.
Same with Boston terrier
❤ SHAR PEI: 39:26 YAY 😀
The Dalmatian was the best, and clearly enjoying himself
Uhhh Poodles always win.when will miniature schnauzers win??
Wow how surprising, a poodle win
Thoran EH poodles don’t usually win all that often, but go off I guess
No surprise. Poodles rule!
You can't appreciate perfection, sucks to be you
Great dogs 😊 i still Waiting for frenchies 😁🥰
Mas e o Corona Virus?
Pardon?
Pardon?
Canaan Dog should have won.
'Free from exaggeration' my arse, all the brachy breeds are by their very nature extreme
I hate poodle In hair spray isnt this illegal?
They’re not wearing hairspray though? They brush poodle hair in a particular way to make it look like that. You can google it if you like.
Ajax Buchann i have poodle. I go for show dog. I know how its look like. Not every country do this. But most Yes. And In crufts they do it also. I have show dogs with show hairstyle and i know how Is looking poodle with and without hairspray.
Mo B poodle hair is naturally finer and tightly curled, they don’t use hairspray. Poodle fur is naturally like that, you moron.
Sarah Anderson do you have show poodle ? Do you know how look hair without hair spray ?- its shaking ! When dog Is running;).
Sarah Anderson Ofen I’m the one person who don’t use hair spray in show dog. And I know how look without. Check Sweden show. They also don’t use. Becouse they are punish.
The Shiba 😍😍😍😍😍
(My favourite dog )
2:29 cheems
Let's hope they pick up the dog mess because it didnt look like it
like❤
poodles once again🙄boring. give another breed a chance, that shiba was gorgeous.

So disappointed not see a bulldog.
It failed the vet test ..a slight skin problem
Well it should have passed the vet test.
I am not.
Gross! More poodles. Why don’t the put them in their own category. They win everything.
They didn't win the utility group last year.
There are a lot of poodle breeders so there’s more competition for the breed, so the ones which win are more likely to win in the group as well
Poodle breeders overall have been doing a great job producing quality dogs that meet their standard so it’s no surprise they may do well, but if you knew anything about dog shows, you’d know it would make no sense to put them “in their own category” and poodles don’t win any more than some other breeds in dog shows. Because poodles are great, well bred examples of their breed.
There's a bias for the poodle it's true. I think it's because they are superiorly intelligent. They are real top dogs
