I bound this to my Radiomaster TX16S transmitter and it totally transformed it into a really nice performer. I was flying mine in 15mph winds today. It really does fly well with a hobby grade transmitter.
Good evening Sir. I wanna say a big Thank you for your video, extremely helpful, very detailled especially about the TX and for a new to Heli who bought this E130, i really learned a lot and it clearly helped my first flight (yesterday actually), and today after 3 full batteries flights, i got great pleasure flying. Have a nice day and thanks again.
The number are sizes right? 110-119 are one cell small to large 120-130 is the 2 cell small to large. 130 is the biggest 2 cell. Than brushless starts at 130 size called 160?
I love what you done in this video so very helpful , I've watched the other reviewer last name philips and he really botched the review no where near as good as yours.
I collected my E130 today, I started practicing on a nice large grass field, surrounded by corn fields. Amateur as I am, I wanted to test the max height, lost connection, and it peacefully descended into the corn fields ;(. Ordered a new one though :D
I got the E119, really good heli, really reliable. This looks interesting providing it is as reliable as the E119 which has been my most reliable heli ever, even my XK110 blast needs a new head, but it should be OK then once I've brought a new rotorhead for it of ebay.
The concept is good for a beginner copter but it needs to have more power and have a brushless motor. I purchased the e160 but it's too much copter for a beginner. I purchased the e129 n that works for a beginner as well but there needs to be an in between model I think. This could have been it.
That beep you heard wasn't a calibration alert, it was a low voltage alert. Battery getting tired lol (I didn't take the time to look through all the comments, so if someone pointed this out already then disregard mine)
who plans to put a tiny camera on it? i do i just ordered this heli.. gunna p ut a small 25 mw fpv cam on it with a small battery should be able to lift it...
Hello. My E130 does not remember trim settings when using your procedure :/ and the same is when switching from mode 1 to mode 2. Every single time when pairing the transmitter to heli I need to hold left red button when powering the transmiter and then up and down with left control stick. And trims are centered. I dont care about trims when flying outdoors becuase there is always some drift caused by gentle brieze... Any help on this problem so that transmitter remembers that it is switched to mode 2? And I advice to take off and land from the same spot! I tried to take off from the basement and to land on kitchens board upstairs and while holding throttle down stick the heli could not stop :) I had to fly back to the basement to stop the engine.
Thanks for the information on the barometer causing the heli to refuse to stop at different altitudes. As to the problem about mode 1/2 switching - you chose a mode at purchase. Then you can switch to the other mode but the TX will always default to the original mode at start-up. Them's the breaks!
@@Quadcopter101 Thank you for your reply, I enjoy watching all your reviews, I bought this heli and several drones after watching your reviews and am not dissapointed.
@@jordandelavega2408 I don't believe that there is a socket on the board for satellite receivers of any sort! It is clear from the Banggood listing that they were going to add that possibility (like the Futaba S-bus satellite on the Eachine E119) but they never did it. Therefore the mention of Spectrum compatibility in this video is probably BS! The same for the Eachine E129. The good news is that the protocol is the same as on the E129 (and the re-brand of this - the JJRC M-05) and the multi protocol development crew seem to have cracked this protocol.

theres a way to remember trims when you turn it off.. have it on the ground batt in controller on hold the right red button on the top for 5 seconds till you hear a beep the red led on the controller will flash then take off trim it till how you like land with the copter still plugged in hold the right red button again 5 seconds till it beeps and the light turns off.. now youve remembered the settings and it will keep them after power off... left button red one i think you hold for 5 seconds to switch from mode 1 to mode 2 if you bought a mode 1 and want mode 2.. then when you do switch it the top buttons switch as well so instead of the left it will be the right to switch back to mode 2 and the left for remembering trims theres a way to turn off the altitude hold too someone i hear is working on it or still havent figured it out its in a forum i read... but fun little copter.. also ive seen pre production ones where they included the whole head the blade holders and the shaft etc now they dont ??? i see 2 extra blades and a main gear and a rear prop thats it.. also when it impacts it will stop the motor when the motor sees resistance it will stop and theres a way to set or reset the gyro set it on level surface and i think left stick down and to the left and right stick down and to the left.. the thing will beep and you leveled it some are getting them un leveled from the factory and no matter how much trim you use it wont stay stable that should stop it.. your welcome..
Here's how I did it. I started my channel by producing tutorials and reviews of quadcopters that I had already purchased. I had a total of six small toy grade quadcopters, but I did many videos with those six. With practice, I started to become proficient and prolific at producing these videos. After about a year and 100 videos (and 1000 subscribers), I started to receive my first offers of free sample quadcopters for review purposes. And here is a sorted listing of my first videos goo.gl/O54vwa
I can see it being somewhat heavy with the bumpers. This means expect short flight time per battery charge. Also if the motors are brushed, expect the motors to burn out regularly (like the old WLToys V262).

some tips folks... dont use the charger it comes with it over charges the lipos to 4.25 one cell and the others to 4.20 this is bad .4 is the max you should be over on any cell .2 is the min and spot on is the best.. use a proper lipo charger you can get em for 20 bucks dc chargers the ones that are ac are 40 b ucks or so... if your l;ipos are dieing or puffing this is why those china chargers are junk they come with also the heli gets hot.. and the rear motor has 8 hours or more of use its a coreless so be prepared to get a new coreless motor there like 5 bucks or so coreless are horrible.. if you can get a second deal for the motor a heat sink or plug into the bat use the full volts 8 volts not 4 so use a balance lead and put a small 20mm fan on the motor it should just take it down 1 or 2 minutes but will be much cooler.. you can use fans that cool esc's for rc cars

Did you loose it in the corn field? If so you should keep a compass and shoot an a smith so you can track it down. I lost a glider that way.

Hi 101, is there an upgrade motor for this heli that will give it more power to combat the wind? Regards
Nope. And it's not the motor. The software for the gyros keep this drone docile and slow for beginner fliers.

ive been looking for an rc helicopter powerful enough to carry an fpv camera and still have good flight time (10+ minutes) would this one be good?
What is the weight of the camera and its battery that you wish to lift? If it's under 20 grams, this might do it.

Are you flying indoors when trying to adjust trim?
@@Quadcopter101 Not! I tried to make this adjustment outdoors! does it make a difference?
@@josefonseca9274 yes. Trim is to correct excessive drifting of the helicopter without any wind.
theres a way to remember trims when you turn it off.. have it on the ground batt in controller on hold the right red button on the top for 5 seconds till you hear a beep the red led on the controller will flash then take off trim it till how you like land with the copter still plugged in hold the right red button again 5 seconds till it beeps and the light turns off.. now youve remembered the settings and it will keep them after power off...
left button red one i think you hold for 5 seconds to switch from mode 1 to mode 2 if you bought a mode 1 and want mode 2.. then when you do switch it the top buttons switch as well so instead of the left it will be the right to switch back to mode 2 and the left for remembering trims
theres a way to turn off the altitude hold too someone i hear is working on it or still havent figured it out its in a forum i read...
but fun little copter.. also ive seen pre production ones where they included the whole head the blade holders and the shaft etc now they dont ??? i see 2 extra blades and a main gear and a rear prop thats it..
also when it impacts it will stop the motor when the motor sees resistance it will stop
and theres a way to set or reset the gyro set it on level surface and i think left stick down and to the left and right stick down and to the left.. the thing will beep and you leveled it some are getting them un leveled from the factory and no matter how much trim you use it wont stay stable that should stop it..

Is there a low battery warning? 😕
Not that I noticed. No visible LED from outside. It just descends and lands on low battery.
@@Quadcopter101 Well that kind of sucks, no battery warning. I could tell from your voice you were disappointed with this machine.
Hi is there an upgraded brushless motor on this heli
Sorry, this heli is available with brushed motor only.
this heli many review says motor super hot thats i pay extra $30 i can get v950 bigger brushless
does it come with a heatsink, I hope so.

You may want to trim that heli flying above 120cm because of the ground effect, 3.9ft or something. Cheers!
