Trim the copter inside. If you trim outside then it could be the wind blowing it around and not needing it be trimmed. It does look like a Christmas gift for someone
Awesome helicopter I have both e119 and the e129 great choppers but the exposed plastic gear can be damaged in a crash let me show you a cheap and easy way to prevent that, take a light weight plastic water bottle trim off the neck and make a piece fit from the canopy to the landing gear and use transparent tape to fasten and no more stripping gears works perfectly.
I got one of these. There's the Eachine E129, GoolRC and the Firefox C129. I got the Firefox brand. The first one arrived in about 3 days. It had a bad gyro I guess? It yawed violently to the left and wouldn't hover, so it couldn't be trimmed out.i contacted the seller and had another on the way the same day. Its FANTASTIC, and really flies for a long, long time. 15 minutes at least. Mine has 3 batteries. These fly exactly like a quad or drone. Altitude hold works too. NOTE: if you lightly sand away the two little bumps on the battery, it slides in and out a whole lot easier!!! PRETTY FAST TOO. BUT, in low rates its docile enough to fly inside too. On wondering if it will carry a little AIO FPV camera unit? I found it can share the battery. A little AKK or WolfWhoop unit only weighs 2.58 grams. A nickel weighs 5 grams. Pretty neat if it works. QC101, keep coming out with these videos. We like em.
Really like this heli. Once you get it trimmed out,, it can fly long enough ya can get a little bored in the house. So, go outside and ya can fly it pretty fast too. Overall, it's a great beginner's heli, or if its crappy weather, fly in the living room and dining room. Oh. If yur having trouble getting the batteries in and out, just sand those two little bumps on the battery.
I got the E119 and it's great heli, just keeps on going on and on, really reliable just what I like from a model. So this looks like a nice adaptation of a classic heli.
Another use for it, and why I'm researching before buying, is a flight trainer for better drone flying. I flew R/C for years, but haven't in over a decade. I have an expensive camera drone, DJI mini 2, and I've been doing a lot of practice flying with it, getting the reflexes back. But I hate 'practicing' with such an expensive tool that I use for my business. Soooooooo.... I figured something like this, with the altitude hold, flies similar to camera quads and is a whole lot cheaper! I can use it to practice with, improve my flying skills so that when I'm filming with the drone, I'll produce smoother and more controlled camera shots. And it will just be fun to fly around without the worry of the expense. So far, this looks like the best option out there.
I just sold my mini 2, I had no need for Aerial footage, I don't know why I bought it actually, I found it mind numbingly boring to fly, maybe because I used to fly 450 and 500 helicopters and 100mph EDF jets 😂, I just purchased one of these e129 so I can fly without leaving the couch lol, I'm slowly getting back into RC flight after about 9 years, I've really missed it actually.
Great info. Iv had one for a year, always flew great until it had a prob with maintaining alt. All moving parts were tight etc. Replaced whole elec board for only £8. But didnt help. I think now its a motor issue. Gets quite hot so thinking its thermal failure and wear but havent done much flight time. Some elec contact spray helped a bit. Any ideas welcome?
With no power to the helicopter, slowly turn the rotor blades by hand. They should turn smoothly with no bumps or resistance in turning. If you notice any "bumps" while turning, then you likely have some debris in the gear teeth. This will overheat your motor, and can damage it. Even a small particle of sand in the gear teeth can burn out a motor. Dislodge any particles from the teeth by using an old toothbrush, or gently sliding a pin between the gear teeth. Here's some more info ruclips.net/video/LzzD3BPVvH0/видео.html
The Eachine E119 has been a great little toy and this seems to continue that. Not a fan of proprietary batteries (usually more expensive and hard to storage charge them) but the switchable mode Tx IS a good innovation for our bunch of mixed mode Old Fart Fliers - hard to teach an old dog new tricks! It would be nice if Eachine could talk Volantex into doing a similar thing with the transmitter for the Eachine re-brands of the V761 planes. Someone's finally got them to fix that dumb flyaway fault it seems. I'm assuming that the new Tx will operate the E119 also - just less the altitude hold feature as with say the Syma X8C/HC etc Txs?
Nope, seems they are different protocols. On multi OpenTx E119 is a subprotocol of number 46 V911S while E129 (also sold as the Twista Ninja 250 RTF) is number 83.

It depends. If you use your computers USB port, over an hour. If you use a 2amp phone wall charger, about 30 minutes.
